After sending Lei Lie safely into the channel, Xu Lang turned back, smiling cheerfully at the remaining rogue Mutants.

From the group of rogue Mutants, a woman dressed in green emerged, stepping into Xu Lang's team.

From the high skies, Lord of the Nether River Yu Tong let out an even colder snort, rife with fury. Suddenly, a massive black hand descended from the clouds, claws extended, reaching directly for the green light encapsulating the woman.

The hand clawed forward, intercepting the green light's path, as if preying on the woman, ready to capture her the moment she arrived.

"Ahhh!"

Xu Lang cried out in alarm, his face paling with dread.

Yu Tong's sudden attack from above left Xu Lang wholly unprepared. The massive hand targeting the woman was entirely beyond his expectations.

Xu Lang's beam of green light had already been unleashed; it was far too late to retrieve it. Watching as the woman was about to fall into Yu Tong's grasp, he grew visibly grim.

"Yu Tong, truly shameless. A dignified True God striking at a Divine Spirit—is this not disgraceful? Feeling restless, then? Fine, I'll entertain you for a bit."

Suddenly, multicolored brilliance surged forth as an authentic Five-color Divine Light erupted, making haste to intercept Yu Tong's hand before it seized the woman.
