I Made The World Mutate

Chapter 824 The Mandate of Heaven Map

"I need to investigate this person," he declared, "to see what she really intends to do here."

Gazing at the Perfected Gu Ya, Xiao Mu made his decision quickly, memorized the appearance of the Perfected Gu Ya, and planned to send it back to the Great Tang Ruins for an identity check.

"First, clarify the identity, and if she's from the Alliance, then let her be. I can't possibly meddle in everyone's affairs."

"If she has defected to the outside of Heaven and Earth, inform the Alliance and have her eliminated."

With that thought in mind, Xiao Mu withdrew his gaze. With a flick of the Creation Axe, he severed the connection with Perfected Gu Ya, and the Huge Mirror, formed by the power of Creation, slowly vanished.

"Excuse us!"

Zhao Jingyan and Cui Lin, having received their task, bid farewell to Perfected Gu Ya and left the gathering.

As soon as they departed, the Perfected Gu Ya, hidden in the Black Mist, hastily arose from his seat and hurried out of the room.

With the Brilliance of the Five Elements flickering below his feet, Perfected Gu Ya crossed a lengthy corridor in the blink of an eye and came to the door of a house at the back of the Great Courtyard.

With a wave of his right hand, the door opened, and Perfected Gu Ya entered.

The scene inside the room changed immediately, revealing a large, grey-white, totally opaque cover resembling Chaos Power.

Upon the surface of the cover flowed the Power of Destiny, creating ripples like the wind blowing over the sea.

As Perfected Gu Ya drew near to the cover, suction emanated from within, pulling him in.

The Power of Destiny enveloped the surface of the cover, isolating all forces, twisting everything within reach.

The Black Mist surrounding Perfected Gu Ya vanished, revealing the figure of a man with a pale beard. He appeared rough and rugged, about forty years old, and his strong build was starkly inconsistent with the young woman Xiao Mu had seen.

Hum!

Grayish-white brilliance exuded from within the bearded man, the Power of Fate enveloping his body like a sword. Then, a Grey-White Small Talisman flew out from within him, landing in his hand.

Hum hum hum!

The Grey-White Small Talisman trembled in the bearded man's hand, releasing the Power of Destiny with each tremor.

"Someone is investigating my whereabouts? Who is it? Who is investigating my movements?"

"Such terrifying power, such fearsome ability, to escape even the detection of the Power of Destiny."

The bearded man's expression tensed, but then he breathed a sigh of relief, looking gratefully at the Grey-White Small Talisman, "Luckily, the power of the Destiny Talisman is not weak, directly warping the result seen by that person, making what he saw differ from reality."

"Who is it? Who's investigating me?"

The bearded man furrowed his brows, his gaze concentrated on the grey-white Destiny Talisman, hoping to trace the source through it.

The Destiny Talisman once again unleashed a grayish-white brilliance, which projected into the air like a three-dimensional hologram.

Blurred images twisted in mid-air, seemingly attempting to display something to the bearded man.

But the image quickly devolved into chaos amidst its contortions, ultimately revealing nothing, becoming an indistinct mass.

"Such terrifying power, comparable to the Power of Destiny. What could it be? Creation? Chaos? Primal Beginning? Hongmeng?"

Muttering to himself, the bearded man's investigation with the Power of Destiny yielded no visions, and he, too, reached no conclusions.

"Whoever is investigating me, someone has taken notice of me. How did the information leak? Could it be Zhao Jingyan, who just joined?"

The bearded man's gaze grew increasingly sinister. "If it is Zhao Jingyan…"

His expression changing, a surge of Death Force emanated from him, and an image of a dark judge exuding an endless aura of death appeared above his head. Its powerful authority spread far and wide, a beam of light racing away.

Eventually, that light struck Zhao Jingyan, who was leaving with Cui Lin, establishing a connection between Zhao Jingyan and the bearded man.

"Hmm? The prohibition is still in place?"

"The prohibition remains, so does that mean Zhao Jingyan hasn't leaked my information? If not Zhao Jingyan, then who else could it be?"

Standing in contemplation, the bearded man radiated an ever-persistent aura of death.

In the boundless high skies, a figure indistinct as a cloud drifted through the cosmic starfield, a pair of orb-like eyes, resembling yet unlike real eyes, fleetingly visible within the cloud mass. From it, two unclear beams of light pierced through, aiming directly at the Human world.

Whether it was the cloud mass, the indistinct eyes, or even the beams of light, they all bore a desolate yellow hue.

This yellow hue brought a sense of world annihilation, as though everything in existence were at the edge of Heaven and Earth's demise.

Hovering against the cloud mass's backdrop, a shadowy figure faintly revealed another realm's scene.

There, one could clearly see the Reincarnation Path and the Yellow Paper Sword that obliterated all on it.

The Yellow Paper Sword absorbed energy from the Reincarnation Path, turning it into a sphere of power that the indistinct figure consumed.

The energy from the Yellow Paper Sword gradually clarified the vague cloud-like figure.

Yet, this cloudy figure's attention remained fixated on the Human world.

Outside the Human world, a protective membrane appeared exceedingly fragile, as if it could collapse at any moment.
