Pillar of Yita

Chapter 168: Invitation

Gita stood behind Fang Hong, quietly observing every move of the Female Knight, and whispered, "There are rumors that Silver Weslan has connected with the Green Dragon Meijeli. Now it seems that they may not be totally unfounded."

Fang Hong nodded slightly upon hearing this.

Indeed, the whole of Fenris was a natural Kingdom for the Green Dragon Meijeli. Although nominally belonging to Colin Ishurian, the Natives of this place preferred to trust their Protector—the legendary Giant Dragon that held a fondness for humans. And this confidence was not without basis; ever since their ancestors landed on this island hundreds of years ago, they had always been sheltered under the wings of this Giant Dragon.

Therefore, it could be said that Cloud Harbor was the joint effort of the early Natives and the Green Dragon Meijeli, though for Meijeli, it might have been nothing more than a whimsical creation.

Regardless, the exalted status enjoyed by the Dragon on this island could not be altered. And perhaps hinting at this fact, Fenris was actually the only region within the Kingdom that did not have a Praetor appointed by the Royal Household.

And Meijeli Tolagotos was the natural Praetor here.

This Saint Peru Valley was its private territory, ruled with a powerful Puzzle Lock Barrier, symbolizing the special significance of this place. That someone from Silver Weslan now had the audacity to assume control over the Valley's Order, the implication behind it was obvious.

Unless the Female Knight named Sophie was spouting nonsense.

But Fang Hong did not believe that the other party would lie about such matters.

Sophie seemed only to have been drawn here by the disturbance. Noticing that Fang Hong's group and the Blood Oath Alliance showed no further intention to engage, she breathed a sigh of relief. However, she looked at the Lizardman Prince behind Fang Hong, somewhat unexpectedly.

"Golden Hand?" She raised an eyebrow, "Are you an Andasok Lizardman?"

But the Lizardman Prince, only showing modesty in front of Fang Hong, merely glanced at the human woman with disdain through his narrow pupils and held his claws, remaining silent.

He was royalty of the White Skull Clan, the most outstanding warrior; he would not bow or scrape before a human woman.

The Female Knight with a red ponytail behind Sophie seemed about to step forward.

However, Sophie, with a somewhat amused look, perhaps guessing Tainaric's identity, gently grasped the Female Knight's hand, signaling her to be patient. Only then did she look at Tainaric and say, "Blood battle marks, you are a brave soldier who has passed the trial, my apologies."

Tainaric then moved his eyelids and looked at her.

"Moreover, your Golden Hand is an ancient artifact, isn't it? A legacy of the ancient Sages. Such carving techniques of the Sunstone are very rare nowadays. Let me guess, you are from the Royal Household of Andasok, right?"

She then stepped back and respectfully gestured to Tainaric with an ancient Lizard People ritual.

This gesture surprised everyone present.

What concerned the bystanders was Tainaric's identity—a royal of Andasok. Albeit many did not comprehend what an Andasok Lizardman entailed—that it was the guardian of ancient forests and one of the ancient Kingdoms existing alongside the Numelin Elves—they at least understood what it meant for a Native's royalty.

Because even among the numerous Knight Orders and Duchies of the Ancient Tower, a true Noble with royal blood was indeed a rare and Sublime existence. Of course, in modern terms, this reverence was akin to that for a giant panda.

What surprised Fang Hong's group was Sophie's keen observation.

Such keenness, to the moment they saw Tainaric, except for Miss Tata, no one else had recognized his origins. Yet the Little Princess of Silver Weslan could state his identity and origins outright. Though not completely accurate, she was not far off.

This level of perception was somewhat frightening.

Fang Hong shivered slightly, wondering if this was the talent of a true Grand Guild's genius? He had been somewhat carried away these past days, thinking his own talent could be considered outstanding, but at this moment, he was sobering up.

Eteliria was so vast, and Earth had so many Heroes. In front of the truly powerful, he was still nothing. In fact, the Female Knight in front of him was actually just one of the more prominent new talents of Silver Weslan in recent years.

She was far from being a pillar of this top-notch Guild.

And Silver Weslan, in the context of the Super Competitive League, was merely a gatekeeper among the Super First-Line Guilds, far from being the strongest. Not to mention that behind each country lurked the mysterious and unpredictable military departments, as well as the Natives whose combined strength far exceeded that of all the Invokers.

Among everyone, the only one who seemed calm was Tainaric himself, still silently watching the human woman.

It was then Sophie spoke, "If you are a Guest from Andasok, if you wish, Lord Meijeli would like to meet you."

"Lord Meijeli?" Fang Hong was surprised and couldn't help but ask, "Are you referring to Meijeli Tolagotos? The legendary Giant Dragon?"

"Of course," Sophie raised an eyebrow, "Who else could it be? Is there a second Lord Meijeli here?"

Upon hearing this, Fang Hong turned to ask Tainaric, "Does it know you?"
