Nikopolas jerked her head stiffly: "Impossible."
"Those two people?"
"Can't do it."
"One person?"
"No good either."
Fang Hong sighed, looking at the other party with a hint of regret and spread his hands: "Lady Nicopolis, how do you expect me to trust you?"
Nikopolas nearly lost her composure; she bit her lip hard, struggling for a long time before finally squeezing out a sentence: "Another request, anything but that."
In an instant that nearly everyone failed to perceive, Fang Hong narrowed his eyes slightly.
Only Hilveld watched the scene and let out a gentle laugh.
After pondering for a short while, Fang Hong spoke: "Then, I hope Lady Nicopolis can escort my person to City Hall to find a way to leave this place."
Nikopolas trembled with fury, clenched her teeth, and replied almost word by word: "No."
"Two people?"
"..."
"One person?"
"Enough," Nikopolas interrupted him, burning with rage: "Are you deliberately giving me trouble?"
Fang Hong was taken aback and asked confusedly: "Ah?"
Nikopolas seemed to realize her overreaction and quieted down, closing her mouth, silently watching him for a long time before speaking again: "Another request, anything but that."
"Lady Nicopolis..."
"I know, but shut up—" she glared at Fang Hong with fiery gold eyes: "I said another request, anything but that."
"Alright then," Fang Hong sighed as if conceding once again: "I'll make a simpler request, let everyone else leave the square."
"You dare say everyone?" Nikopolas snorted coldly.
"Lady Nicopolis, I've made concessions again and again, shall we go back to the previous conditions?" Fang Hong threatened deliberately: "Or shall we part ways and you kill us?"
Nikopolas fell silent for a long while, her desire to kill fluctuating with the rare opportunity; now steely, now somewhat soft, but ultimately she chose to compromise.
She let out a light breath.
As long as the item was in her grasp, there was always a chance. And even if the damned human reneged, at the very least they couldn't escape the Phantom Realm.
She ground her teeth, finally managing to utter two words: "Fine."
Fang Hong felt greatly relieved but carefully maintained a serious expression, nodding to Nikopolis in acknowledgment, before immediately fetching the others.
After the others gathered at the square, it was unfortunate that Hansen and his men had long since disappeared, and Hudi was nowhere to be seen.
Atira seemed very worried, gazing at Fang Hong as if watching her brother departing, filled with shadows in her heart at the thought that she couldn't prevent what had happened.
Nikopolis, the Dragon Worship Sect, these distressing matters resurfaced, the scene before her like a replay of the past.
After a long silence, she finally said to Fang Hong: "Ade, I'll stay with you."
But Fang Hong didn't catch her implication and simply shook his head: "No need." The decisiveness of the boy at this moment, so different from when he was with Miss Sicape.
"Don't worry about me, Miss Atira, I can resurrect."
The Elf Girl said nothing, only looked at him with a sorrowful expression.
"Brother Ade, you don't plan to give her the item?" Tianlan was surprised, typing in the chat window.
Fang Hong turned towards that direction, and indeed, he saw Nikopolis pricking up her ears, paying attention. With her level of Perception, even if they communicated in sign language at this distance she could see clearly.
Unfortunately for the Lady Giant Dragon, she was unaware of something called the Summoners System.
He then nodded and typed: "I have my plan."
"Where shall we wait for you?" Hilveld asked succinctly.
Fang Hong turned back, somewhat surprised, looking at the Noble Girl.
She gave him a slight smile, her light blue eyes full of trustful glow, as if she had no doubt that he would eventually come out unscathed and rejoin them.
But after thinking it over, he responded with just four words: "Follow Tianlan."
Then he typed a message for the girl from France: "Go to City Hall."
"Why there?" Tianlan asked curiously.
Gita also looked at him.
"Because I guess she can't go to City Hall." The line emerged in the chat window.
"What!?" Tianlan was shocked: "How do you know that, Brother Ade?"
"It's a guess, but trust me, there's a high possibility. Go to City Hall and wait for me; I'll be there soon, and I guess that's where we'll find the way out of the Phantom Realm—"
Tianlan hadn't quite grasped it yet.
Gita looked him over carefully, her dark eyes filled with a touch of admiration, like staring at a monument reflecting many faces.
She couldn't help but take his hand and whisper with a blush: "Be careful, Brother Ade."
Fang Hong smiled warmly, nodding at the young girl.
Then he looked towards Atira and Hilveld, both of whom nodded in his direction. The aging Knight Ditke seemed to want to say something, but Fang Hong stopped him: "You are most familiar with this place, Mr. Ditke, the others need you here."
Ditke looked at him and then nodded.
Fang Hong bid farewell to each of them, including the Papalarians, before turning to join Nikopolis. Lady Dark Giant Dragon watched him with a cold expression and asked: "Are you done?"
