Chapter 166: The Chosen Path (Part 2)

"Diviner!"

Fang Hong inwardly cursed his luck.

Both sides suddenly meeting left no time to react, as a frost arrow shot out from the fishman diviner's hand, barely missing Fang Hong and only hitting the spray behind him, forming a thin ice surface there.

Fang Hong gritted his teeth and charged forward, but although the fishman diviner was a spellcaster, he was much stronger. When Fang Hong collided, the diviner only stepped back half a step, but Fang Hong himself was left dizzy.

The fishman diviner seized the opportunity to grab at him, but he forgot that Fang Hong was wearing an alchemist robe. With a 'rip', he tore the robe off Fang Hong's body.

Fang Hong didn't have time to lament his robe, as clarity returned to him. He quickly brushed past the opponent and continued to run forward.

In the shallow water zone, the fishman diviner chased for a few steps but found he couldn't catch up. At that moment, however, Koras noticed the commotion in the square. The giant monster was hesitating, unsure whether to find the unseen enemy first or block this little ant.

At this moment, the fishman diviner turned around, gesturing and screaming at Koras.

Koras seemed to understand the diviner's language, then turned its two heads to spray a flame and a poison arrow at Fang Hong.

The hearts of the audience in the live broadcast room were nearly at a standstill, afraid of seeing Fang Hong turn to ashes under the flames. But in the next moment, they saw a flash of silver light, and Fang Hong suddenly disappeared from where he stood. The flame and poison arrow only landed where Fang Hong had vanished.

A moment later, everyone saw Fang Hong, like a line of silver lightning, appear in front of the steps of the workshop along with a strange construct. "Energy Angel!" everyone exclaimed.

Without bothering to put away the construct, Fang Hong dashed into the workshop at full speed.

But at that moment, the distance of just a few steps seemed to stretch across years in Fang Hong's eyes. He heard the deafening shriek from behind, the wrath of Koras being deceived.

Although the sound of gunfire never stopped, Fang Hong heard the heavy footsteps turning and heading his way.

At that moment, Fang Hong felt his own heartbeat like thunder. The Westwood Sibika family's workshop could not shelter him under the attack of such a world-class BOSS, and would only be reduced to dust like him under Koras's fury.

So he had to seize the time, get to the teleportation array first, and activate it.

But how much time was left for him?

With a 'bang', he pushed the door open, his forehead beaded with fine sweat. The dark workshop inside wasn't as massive as the shipyards he had seen in Golande and Elpaxin, but it wasn't small either.

Being his first time here, finding the teleportation array amongst rows and rows of machinery and magic furnaces was no easy task.

Just then, Fang Hong suddenly heard a gunshot.

A bullet whizzed past him, hitting a water surface ahead, splashing up a spray. Then a second gunshot came, a bullet hitting further away but in the same direction as the first point.

Fang Hong's heart suddenly leaped.

He almost didn't need to look back to understand who was shooting. It was his Miss Ship's Officer secretly guiding him, filling his heart with a surge of emotion—not just for this reason, but because she was still safe.

It made him both surprised and joyful.

Fang Hong's heart filled with endless confidence, and he immediately sprinted in that direction.

Due to the steps outside, the workshop only had a thin layer of stagnant water flowing outward, which didn't hinder his movement inside. The third gunshot sounded, striking a piece of machinery, sparking.

Fang Hong immediately turned in that direction, and then the fourth gunshot shattered a window. Amidst the sound of shattering glass, the fifth gunshot sounded, the bullet passing through the window and striking a path ahead.

Fang Hong darted along the path, finally seeing the teleportation array behind rows of shelves.

But there were two arrays.

One for entry, one for exit, both covered with a layer of dirty water, making it impossible for Fang Hong to distinguish between them. Anxious and frantic, he felt the footsteps of Koras growing closer outside, so he bent down regardless of the dirt, using his hand to wipe forcefully.

The water cleared for a moment, but he couldn't see clearly before it covered again. Nervously wiping his sweat, Fang Hong cleared the water again. This time, he saw that it was an exit array.

"Damn it."

Fang Hong cursed inwardly, immediately turning to the other side.

Frantically, he found a protrusion underwater, then yanked it out with force, 'splash' dragging it mud and all from the array's groove—it was a crystal. Fang Hong didn't have time to check what type of crystal it was, just reversed his hand to insert it into his magic guided reactor.

"Miss Tata, help me adjust the output power of the magic guided reactor to maximum."

He shouted inwardly.
