Water Mage in the Flame Realm

Chapter 201: Absurdly Smooth Sailing

Just like that, Andrew stayed in Warm Fire City and officially began his business collaboration with the Warm Fire Commerce Association.

Or you could also call it "work."

The Flame Realm was as dry and harsh as ever. Hot during the day, cold at night.

The situation at the frontlines of the "Crimson Battle Lance" and "Dragon's Nest" remained tense.

It seemed that the second Dual Flames War could reignite at any moment.

However, Andrew temporarily blocked out all external distractions, spending each day learning, understanding, and getting familiar with everything he needed to know as quickly as possible. He busied himself and immersed himself completely in the preliminary cooperation plans decided at the round table meeting.

One peculiar thing was: "Before, trying to secure a collaboration was incredibly arduous.

Now that it's finally secured, why has everything completely reversed?"

Andrew quickly realized that this was not just his imagination but a real situation.

In simple terms, establishing a connection with the Warm Fire Commerce Association was extremely hard earlier, but now, in pushing forward each collaborative project, it was just as smooth!

Too smooth to be true, extraordinarily so!

"About Snickers, magic facial masks, lip balm, and eye drops, I have a list of necessary materials here..."

"Oh, no problem, just give it to me, and I'll have it delivered to you by tomorrow," the head of the Commerce Association's logistics resources department, a middle-aged lady who attended the round table meeting, waved her hand and agreed with a smile.

Then, that afternoon, Andrew saw wagon after wagon carrying at least three times the magic materials he requested parked at the doorstep of his current workshop in Warm Fire City.

The key point was, this was just the beginning!

To improve work efficiency and further boost product output, Andrew wanted to study the traditional manufacturing techniques of this Flame Realm's magic artifacts.

In response, the medicine elder immediately selected twenty of the most exceptional magic artifact masters under the Commerce Association to serve as his consulting advisors and also to help with product manufacturing.

If it weren't for Andrew's firm refusal, the medicine elder would have stayed in the workshop himself.

After trying the Snickers made by Andrew, this old man once kneeled down, begging Andrew to take him as his disciple and teach him the manufacturing method!

After some persuasion, Andrew finally got the medicine elder to leave. He spent a week integrating his "Enchanting Finger" with this world's traditional magic artifact manufacturing techniques to form an assembly line production model: Simply put, the masters would handle all the preliminary work, and he would just be responsible for the final step of enchantment.

As a result, the medicine elder and Jin together sent nearly a hundred more manufacturing masters, claiming to provide consulting advice and solve problems for Andrew, but they actually seemed to be coming to work for him, almost like apprentices Andrew recruited!

By this point, Andrew already found it a bit odd.

But he did not give it much thought yet.

Then afterward—

He wanted to compare the differences between "Farmer Spring Water" and the two top-tier drinking waters already available in this world.

On the very same day, his workshop received an unlimited supply of free "Celestial Mountain Water" and "Hot Spring Dew"!

Originally, he just wanted to gather some information about Warm Fire Academy and see whether his "Enlightenment Series" Water Magic could really assist the academy, increasing the students' awakening probability and professional limits.

Ten minutes later, Dean Charlie of Warm Fire Academy cheerfully came to visit.

"Isn't this a bit too much?"

Andrew couldn't help but ask Dean Charlie, "Could it be, if I now asked you for specific details about your Commerce Association's 'Fire Creation Plan,' you'd be willing to tell me?"

"Oh, of course, Mr. Andrew, you can ask, and I will give a response at my discretion."

Dean Charlie politely replied, "After all, your cooperation with our Commerce Association is indeed in service of the 'Fire Creation Plan.'"

Andrew awkwardly laughed, "Your Commerce Association truly has complete trust in me, quite sincere indeed."

He felt that no matter how good his products were, the other party shouldn't be this eager to cooperate.

Wanting to test the other party's limits a bit, he intentionally said, "By the way, I'd like to see the relevant information about the 'Heart Net,' if possible? You know, I mentioned it before about installing a 'Magic Firewall' on the 'Heart Net'..."

As he spoke, Andrew watched the other's facial expressions.

Thinking, seriously? You dare agree?

If you dare agree, I dare eat this batch of magic facial masks that just got produced today!

Although initially, at the Shield of Flowing Fire, after hearing Captain Linda's information regarding the 'Southern Retreat Land,' he conveniently "admitted" that he indeed came from that Retreat Land, providing an explanation for his background.

But the Warm Fire Commerce Association wasn't foolish; they wouldn't believe it easily, at least not completely!

Even if they were to cooperate with someone with such an unclear background like him, they should keep some reservations, right?

In fact, when the medicine elder and Jin sent over a large number of manufacturing masters, Andrew thought they were sent under the guise of learning his manufacturing techniques while monitoring him. Gradually, he realized they were truly sent just to work for him!

"But the core materials of 'Heart Net' are a completely different concept of things."

Andrew thought, "'Heart Net' can be considered one of the core secrets of the Magic Commerce Association, impossible for someone like me, whose origins are not completely clear, to see!"

Sure enough, he saw a hint of hesitation on Dean Charlie's face.

However, after a moment of hesitation, he took a deep breath and nodded, "Alright, the 'Heart Net' is actually an entity artifact. It's a virtual net centered around this core artifact. Since Mr. Andrew is interested, I'll arrange it today so that tomorrow morning, I will personally take you to visit the entity artifact of the 'Heart Net,' how does that sound?"

Andrew: "???"

Inside, he was shouting, "This...seriously? Not joking with me, are you?! I...I don't want to eat magic facial masks, honestly!!"

His face twisted to an extreme in bewilderment.

The other party's level of cooperation was simply outrageous!

Before, it was so difficult just to meet the chairperson's wife, facing obstacles everywhere, as if the entire Warm Fire City was rejecting him, treating him like an outsider.

And now? It's completely reversed! It's like having an infinite pass, and the entire Warm Fire City seems to have turned into his support!

This huge contrast has already gone beyond "surprise" and has become somewhat "scary."

Andrew's expression grew more peculiar, and increasingly uneasy inside.

As the saying goes, when something unusual happens, there must be something going on; could this be... some kind of scheme?

Could they possibly ease up a bit with the cooperation, for it is really freaking me out!

Yet, Dean Charlie's scholarly face also showed a flicker of oddness as he calmly said, "Um...I know Mr. Andrew finds it a bit strange, in fact, I do too... However, as the chairperson had instructed earlier, we should accommodate Mr. Andrew's requests as much as possible."

Andrew was stunned.

Again because of the chairperson? Still because of the chairperson?

And not entirely because of my products, nor because Barbara's mother accepted me?

He couldn't help but ask, "Why does the chairperson value me so much?"
