Over The World, Beyond Heaven

Chapter 350: Sneaking into the Blossom Meadow City Lord's Mansion

"Leader, judging by their appearance, they are probably not soldiers, sir!"

"Hmm… I know, and from what I can see, the power level of this group of youngsters isn't that high either, and from the path they're going to be heading, it's probably Blossom Meadow City that's about to start a great battle soon!"

"That's right, but looking at the horses they ride, all of them are half-blood beasts. Leader, that means they must be wealthy young men!"

"Rob them now, leader? Wow! The group has a woman too!"

Upon a tall tree, this group of ten guys was a group of bandits waiting to rob the villagers who would use this route to escape from the city because of the impending war. All these days, they had not found even a single victim until Zheng-Fu and his group arrived.

"Not yet... I feel something bad about the kid at the back. I feel like he is staring at us somehow," said the middle-aged man who was the leader, with a worried look on his face. His feelings had never deceived him before, and he had survived many times because of his feelings, including when having sex with girls, for which he also used his senses.

"But I don't feel anything; all I see is just a group of piglets that are about to come for us to slaughter. Damn! Look at that sexy girl. Seeing her has my saliva flowing lustfully!"

One of the middle-aged man's underlings spoke up with a thirsty expression, staring at Bao-Bao, who was galloping. Her galloping posture caused a man like him to twitch because of the swaying of the waist, rocking back and forth with a breast that bounced up and down to the rhythm of a running horse, including white legs that revealed a little more. How could they not be lustful?

The whole group continued to keep an eye on Zheng-Fu's group for a while until they came close to their range. This was an attack distance that would not let a victim with a cultivation level lower than the Nascent Soul stage, such as Bao-Jin's group, be aware of it.

"They have entered our range, so be prepared. Once the horse's feet step on all the sealing spells, we will enter… Huh! Wh... Wh... What happened? Why isn't the spell working?"

Suddenly, the face of the middle-aged man who was the leader of the group turned pale, as his sealing spell did not affect Zheng-Fu's group at all. All the horses had stepped on the spell, but nothing happened.

"Leader, what happened here?"

"Why aren't the spells working?"

"So, they will all walk past our trap, leader!?"

"Since it's like this, we can just go and deal with them. These bastards are at a lower level than we are, so they can't do anything to us anyway, even if the spell doesn't work!" the middle-aged man, the leader of the group, said fiercely, ordering his men to prepare to go down and deal with Bao-Jin's group. However, they did not notice that one of the guys in the group had now disappeared.

Whoosh!!!

"Is it true what you said, Uncle!?"

Huh...?

Suddenly, a loud noise sounded next to the middle-aged man's ear, with a terrifying pressure and psychic killing spreading upon this bandit group, causing them all to freeze in fear instantly.

"When did you come!?" When the middle-aged man turned around, he saw that the boy who made him feel bad at first sight had suddenly appeared behind him when he did not realize it. But even now that he knew, his body could not move because of the enormous pressure pressing on him.

Ugh! Aaaaah!!!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Soon, the lowest-level energy bandit spat out a huge mouthful of blood before his head exploded, unable to withstand Zheng-Fu's pressure. The others then followed uninterruptedly until the area was filled with blood and the cloudy white debris of the brain.

"De... Devil... Devil! Aaaaah!!!"

The killing of these bandits was so quiet that no one heard a single sound because Zheng-Fu had already created the energy screen to obscure the sound. He was unable to create a Sealing Dimensional Spell in time, so he had to use this method instead.

Sniff!!! Sniff!!!

"Brother Bao-Jin, do you smell anything so fishy?" suddenly, a young man in the group asked Bao-Jin when he caught a strange fishy smell stuck in his nose.

Huh...?

Sniff!!! Sniff!!!

"Um… it's true, this kind of scent smells like blood!?" When Bao-Jin heard his junior disciple speak, he took a look, sniffed, and really smelled fishy before looking for the source of this scent and preparing to turn around and ask Zheng-Fu if he smelled anything.

"It must be the smell of stupid monsters that were killed?" but before Bao-Jin could ask, Zheng-Fu's voice rang out as his horse slowly ran up to be beside him.

"Oh… it might be possible. There must have been some monsters around here as well. They would surely have been killed by some of the martial cultivators around here, as Master said," Bao-Jin also agreed with what Zheng-Fu said because the chances of being other things were very small.

But actually, it was not like that at all. These bloody smells came from the corpses of the bandits who were brutally murdered by Zheng-Fu without them being able to do anything. Everyone's corpse died tragically; someone had their head exploded, someone was torn in two, or someone exploded all over.

Especially the middle-aged bandit leader, whose condition was the most frightening of the group as his body parts, arms, and legs were scattered in different directions. But despite that, Zheng-Fu did not leave the spatial rings they were wearing. He kept all of them for his gift and wages for wasting time dealing with them.

An hour had passed...

At last, Zheng-Fu and Bao-Jin had reached Blossom Meadow City. The sight of the city appeared in their eyes as they galloped for a few moments. But when they arrived at the entrance of the city gates, there was a huge crowd of people standing.

"Hey! When are you going to let me in? I've been waiting since yesterday!"

"I came before you. You haven't even entered yet!"

"I've been waiting a week. What happened? Why didn't you let us in!?"

The roar of the crowd continued as they were barred from entering the city. Some people had been here for almost a week and had not gotten in yet. And day by day, more and more people wanted to enter the city until the streets were packed.

"What happened, brother? Why are there so many people?" Bao-Jin, who had arrived in the area, got off his horse and walked over to ask a middle-aged man what had happened.

"It's the lord. Suddenly, there was a ban on entering the city. By declaring that he was afraid that a spy from the Birdy Holy Fiery Heaven Kingdom would enter the city, he closed the city until the kingdom's troops arrived," said the middle-aged man, with a sad expression on his face.

"Is it forbidden for people to enter the city because they are afraid of detectives? So, how are we going to go into the city to find our teacher, Brother Bao-Jin?"

"That's right. If it's like this, shouldn't we have to wait until the kingdom's troops arrive first?"

"I don't know either. From what I see, there are not less than a thousand villagers and martial practitioners here. And if the city gate doesn't open, it will be much more." Bao-Jin looked around with a worried expression in response.

Around him were not just ordinary villagers. Martial experts, mercenaries, merchants, millionaires, or even those who looked powerful still could not enter the city. All of them were barricaded outside, but luckily for merchants and millionaires, they were able to build temporary shelters with the extra money. They also hired elites and soldiers to protect themselves.

"Don't worry, Bao-Jin. I believe there is always an opportunity for us… By the way, what level is your master's in case I can check it?" Zheng-Fu's voice rang, comforting Bao-Jin, who had a distressed and worried expression, before asking about his master's power level.

"Er… before we came out of the sect, Master had a cultivation level at the late fifth level of the Nascent Soul stage."

"Um… then you guys wait for me around here before you go anywhere. I'll go check it out."

Whoosh!

When Zheng-Fu finished speaking, his body suddenly disappeared from the gaze of Bao-Jin's group without anyone noticing, along with his smell and touch. Even though he disappeared while there were a lot of people, it did not make the people around him realize where he had gone.

Gulp!

"Young Master Zheng-Fu is so strong. No matter what technique he uses, they are all high-level skills. Oh, goosebumps!"

There was no doubt that everyone in the group had the same thoughts as this young man, and if Zheng-Fu had thought of killing them on the day they met Zheng-Fu in his desperate state, they might have all been reborn now.

Zheng-Fu had already been in this Blossom Meadow City once when he returned to his family after coming out of the Ancient Demon Forest, and this city had not changed at all from back then. Even the power level of the city guards was not much higher than before.

"Let me go visit the City Lord at the mansion a bit!" When Zheng-Fu decided where to go first, he soared quickly and passed through the city gates without any guards' knowledge by jumping over the wall because the door was closed.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The city lord's mansion was located in the middle of this city, thus occupying a quarter of the total area. The rest of the area was occupied by villagers and nobles. The city gates to the city lord's mansion were about thirty lis apart.

Suddenly!

Huh...?

"Why does this place look strangely quiet with not many guards and the smell of blood all over it?" When Zheng-Fu arrived at the entrance to the city lord's mansion, he suddenly felt the number of guards that looked wrong. He could also smell the stench of blood that wafted through this mansion.

"I guess I have to take on the role of a coyote spy to go in and check it out!"
