Chapter 1290: Nothing More Than This

"You said you were originally under Asina's command?" Lin Tian was taken aback for a moment and said, Rossi was a member of the Sinmore Clan. Although he had guessed he would eventually meet his direct superior, he didn't expect it to be so soon.

Rossi nodded, looking surprised as well. Lin Tian thought for a moment and said, "Asina wouldn't recognize you, would she?"

"I don't know. I was originally a low-level Blood Clan member, only aware that I was under Asina's jurisdiction, but I didn't have the credentials to meet her and wouldn't recognize her. As for whether she would recognize me, that I don't know," Rossi shook his head slightly, saying uncertainly.

"If Asina recognizes you, it could be a bit troublesome because you were dispatched to Huaxia for a mission a long time ago, suddenly appearing in front of her wouldn't be easy to explain. However, she might not recognize you. After all, she is an exalted elder with so many low-level vampires under her that she probably wouldn't bother to know them," Lin Tian analyzed in his mind and said.

"Then what should I do? Perhaps I shouldn't go with Brother Tian, it would be bad if it messed up Brother Tian's plan," Rossi said earnestly.

Lin Tian waved his hand, "You still must go; when Langde recommended you, he certainly included you. If Asina really recognizes you, I have a way to handle it and will play it by ear at the time."

"Okay, I'll listen to Brother Tian," Rossi said respectfully, and Lin Tian patted his shoulder and left the room.

The next day arrived, and after getting up, Lin Tian only saw breakfast pastries and not the two maids, which was strange as they had been inseparable from the room these past few days. However, he didn't mind, thinking maybe Langde had them withdrawn.

After washing up, Lin Tian went to the first-floor hall where Langde and Rossi were already waiting.

"Mr. Lin, we trouble you this time. To prevent Asina from making it difficult for you, I've arranged for the butler to accompany you. I think she might give me this face," Langde said with a bit of apology.

Lin Tian understood why this elder was being so kind; it was all about winning people's hearts.

But Lin Tian did not pay much mind to the butler's accompaniment, thinking that being an escort likely included more of a monitoring element, as the two cases of alchemical potions were of great significance, and if an accident happened, this elder would be responsible.

Lin Tian didn't care about his intentions and simply said, "Don't worry, elder, I will handle it well."

"Alright, time is of the essence, you should set off immediately," Langde advised.

Lin Tian said nothing, nodded, and walked out of the castle with Rossi. Along the hillside path, they crossed a small bridge by the river, where a car was already waiting outside, the old butler in the driver's seat.

But when Lin Tian opened the backseat door, he saw two women sitting inside. Both were wearing the same dresses, short skirts, stockings, low-cut necklines, with deep cleavages faintly visible, absolute stunners inducing drools from men.

"Nasha, Nolan, why are you here?" Lin Tian asked curiously, recognizing the maids who had served him for days on the car.

The two female Blood Clan members quickly got out, and respectfully replied, "Mr. Lin, it was Elder Langde who asked us to follow you."

The old butler turned back, smiling mischievously, "Mr. Lin, Elder Langde noticed you were very fond of them, so he asked them to accompany you and serve you as usual."

Damn, which eye of yours saw that I liked them, very much even, what kind of eyesight is that, Lin Tian thought with annoyance at the old man's mischievous glance, making it seem like he couldn't live without women.

"Alright then, everyone get in and let's hurry up," Lin Tian waved helplessly, having to accept the elder's "kindness."

So it was, Rossi and the old butler sat in the front, Lin Tian sat in the back seat, flanked by Nasha and Nolan, the two female Blood Clan members. Their long legs and ample bosoms jiggling with the car's motion brushed against him, genuinely testing a man's stability. Lin Tian suspected that this might be Langde the old fox's beauty trap.

"Butler, how should I address you?" Lin Tian said to break the car's awkward atmosphere.

"Mr. Lin can just call me Hicks," the old butler replied respectfully while driving.

"How long have you been with your master?" Lin Tian testedly asked.

The butler answered truthfully, "Five hundred years ago, I was already Elder Langde's butler."

Wow, five hundred years, what era was that, Lin Tian exclaimed in his heart.

"Where is Asina?" Lin Tian asked again.

Butler Hicks still did not hide anything, saying, "Newcastle City."

Newcastle? Instantly, Lin Tian's mind conjured the introduction of English cities: Newcastle is located on the lower reaches of the River Tyne. Calling it a city, it actually has a population of less than fifty thousand, not even comparable to a county in Huaxia.

Yet, Newcastle has become one of the most popular cities in England, perhaps related to its bustling nightlife. Newcastle is full of bars and nightclubs, potentially qualifying as a city that never sleeps, even ranked as one of the world's top eight entertainment cities.

Newcastle also has two famous landmarks, the Angel of the North sculpture and Hadrian's Wall. The "Angel of the North" is said to be fifty-four meters tall and weighs two hundred tons, while Hadrian's Wall stretches for hundreds of miles.

Judging from the data, it is also quite impressive. Lin Tian even wanted to see how this foreign wall compares to Huaxia's Great Wall.

Newcastle is several hundred kilometers from Wudu, but due to good road conditions, after more than three hours, Lin Tian could see the city's silhouette by the River Tyne from afar.

The most eye-catching was a sculpture by the riverside, an iron sculpture in the shape of an angel. However, Lin Tian was a bit disappointed, feeling it was overrated. Perhaps his artistic sense wasn't great, or Huaxia had too many awe-inspiring buildings.

If we say being tall is also awe-inspiring, then Huaxia's Leshan Giant Buddha seconds it by far over this "Angel of the North." The Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as the Lingyun Buddha, is seventy-one meters tall and, in terms of architectural art, leaves the "Angel of the North" far behind.

Some people always feel that foreign scenery is beautiful, that foreign moons are rounder. It's perplexing how these people's minds work. Now that Lin Tian saw these so-called famous spots abroad with his own eyes, he realized how laughable those people were.

"Hicks, where is the wall here? I've heard it's very spectacular?" Lin Tian asked skeptically, and he couldn't help but think so, since the Angel of the North wasn't that impressive.

Everyone in the car gave Lin Tian a strange look, and as Lin Tian wondered, Hicks pointed to the riverside of the Tyne, "That's Hadrian's Wall, very apparent, Mr. Lin should easily recognize it."

"Riverside of the Tyne? No, I only see a long low wall," Lin Tian said more puzzled.

Hicks was a bit embarrassed, "Mr. Lin, that is Hadrian's Wall."

"This counts as a wall?" Lin Tian was utterly stunned. Along the River Tyne, a long low wall stretched, indeed long, but it was merely a low wall, not even above a person's height.
