Martial Ascent to Divinity

Chapter 286 Three Moves

"Senior Brother Zhou Leng, we're here!"

"We're saved!"

"With Senior Brother here, these demons are nothing but chickens and dogs."

Many were confused because they'd never heard of Zhou Leng before.

The Demon Spirit Master looked at Zhou Leng, recalling the courageous figure he saw during the Celestial Ladder battle, but did not see him on the youth ranking.

With a standard Dragon Country dialect, the Demon Spirit Master with Cyan Flame said, "Everyone, prepare for defense. I encountered Zhou Leng once at the Celestial Ladder. He's very strong and could be our hope of breaking through."

Three Tree-men stood in the center, their roots deeply embedded in the earth, like stabilizing pillars of the sea.

Some of the roots formed a transparent layer, enveloping people like a spell, creating root armor.

Another part constantly emerged from the ground, disrupting demons.

The leader of the demon squad was a late Vitality Stage Skinless Warlock, with bloody flesh exposed.

The Skinless Warlock was adept at using spells, and those heavily injured around the Tree-men were mostly harmed by him.

"You guys, go intercept those seven people, especially the one leading. He's unusual in strength," the Skinless Warlock commanded, sending twenty powerful demons toward Zhou Leng.

Leading the charge was a Rusted Iron Demon Soldier.

Zhou Leng glanced at the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier, recalling the Rusted Iron General he met at the airport.

Both were of the same race, with interlocking rust-covered steel shells and muscles like giant iron columns.

Zhou Leng said, "That Rusted Iron Demon Soldier is mine."

While running, he gestured to the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier.

The Rusted Iron Demon Soldier laughed loudly, saying, "This human is mine."

Others slightly slowed their speed, watching the two.

The demons smiled, knowing the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier might be slightly weaker than Giants and Dragons, but his sturdiness exceeded them both.

Rusted Iron Demon Soldier and Rusted Iron General, always the demons' offensive weapons.

Even an Innate Strike from the True Liquid Period couldn't severely damage this iron barrel.

They had seen this Rusted Iron Demon Soldier shatter a Vitality Stage human's arm with a punch.

Both accelerated, cracking the earth.

Two afterimages sped toward each other, closing the distance in the blink of an eye.

The Rusted Iron Demon Soldier punched, Zhou Leng unleashed a killing move, the Five Forms Combined, Thousand Tide Sea.

In front, Heart and Mind Shadow, like twelve combined into one.

Fist met palm, and the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier's right arm exploded with a bang.

Rust fragments exploded from the flesh, flying like bullets, rebounding off the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier.

They landed on Zhou Leng, making a metallic clashing sound, then bounced away.

The Rusted Iron Demon Soldier retreated several steps, looking at his right arm.

Flesh and rust disappeared, leaving only a steel-colored bone, cracks spreading across it.

All eyes focused on the two; the air seemed to freeze in this instant.

Zhou Leng pushed off the ground, raising a cloud of soil and grass, his body lunging forward.

A Flying Cloud Leg sweep.

The Rusted Iron Demon Soldier hurriedly blocked with his intact left arm.

Boom...

Like a sandbag, the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier flew sideways.

Half of the left arm broke, embedded deeply into his side waist.

Both allies and foes stared wide-eyed.

This power rivaled a Giant.

The Rusted Iron Demon Soldier hit the ground, rolling down the slope.

Zhou Leng rushed over, aiming at the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier's steel-helmed head, delivering a kick.

The Rusted Iron Demon Soldier hastily used his shattered arm to block.

Clang...

Like kicking a metal barrel.

The Rusted Iron Demon Soldier's broken arm splintered, his head severed, flying high like a football, tracing a long arc in the sky before landing over five hundred meters away.

The demons shivered all over; this Rusted Iron Demon Soldier could withstand a hundred blows from an ordinary Giant.

And now it was disposed of in three moves.

The thirteen who came with Zhou Leng instantly understood.

Vincent finally understood why he felt inexplicable fear towards this person before.

Zhou Leng wiggled his right toe, lightly shaking it; though the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier was very strong, his toe's skin had been scraped.

"Kill!"

Zhou Leng turned, charging at the remaining nineteen demons.

Only then did Pang Yu and the other six comprehend Zhou Leng's rescue plan.

Zhou Leng on the offensive, while the other six defended.

A victorious Zhou Leng felt even more cautious.

During the Body Refining Stage, such demons went down with one punch.

Reaching the Vitality Stage, it took three moves for each.

Too strong.

The late Vitality Stage demons were leagues beyond common ones; he could not be careless.

Zhou Leng reunited with the other six, charging directly at the demons.

The scene just now deeply shocked these demons; the closer they advanced, the faster their courage dissipated.

Formal engagement began, with the nineteen demons hesitating.

A two-meter tall, five-meter long Humpbacked Horse Demon charged straight in.

In terms of charging impact, the Humpbacked Horse Demon surpassed the Rusted Iron Demon Soldier, also occupying an uphill position, unstoppable.

Zhou Leng originally intended to test his strength, stubbornly standing his ground, True Qi surging, his shoulder against the Humpbacked Horse Demon.

This move encompassed the basic Iron Mountain Lean, the imagery from the Establishing Image Chapter, and countless martial arts insights from the Innate Pavilion.

Zhou Leng stepped into a horse stance, rooted in the earth, body leaning forward, shoulder colliding with the Humpbacked Horse Demon's chest.

Boom...

Earth trembled, bones rang continuously.

Zhou Leng's shoulder, as if a descending horse-slicing blade.

The Humpbacked Horse Demon exploded from the middle, one part hitting Zhou Leng, splitting to the sides.

The Horse Demon split smoothly like tofu cut by a sharp blade, flying past Zhou Leng on both sides, falling onto the slope and rolling a few times.

Beneath Zhou Leng, the ground caved.

"Giant..."

Many demons' throats churned with the same word.

Only a Giant could slaughter demons in this manner.

Behind, Juan and Vincent, and others sweated on their foreheads.

As humans, cultivating martial arts, they understood too well the power of this Iron Mountain Lean.

With this shoulder, Zhou Leng could kill seven of them simultaneously.

"Senior Brother is mighty!"

Even the disciples from the Ancient River Sect did not expect Zhou Leng to have this level of strength.

Zhou Leng shook his slightly sore shoulder, charging at the Evil Tumor Guard.

Standing four meters tall, the Evil Tumor Guard's body was covered with writhing tumors, fearfully waving his arms, trying to hold Zhou Leng, thinking he could win with poison and plague.

Zhou Leng leaped high into the air, like a soaring swallow, stepping on the Evil Tumor Guard's arm and flipping forward.

When he flew over the guard's head, he joined his fingers into a sword.

Void-Breaking Finger.

He gently jabbed, like chopsticks poking into sizzling braised pork.

With a slight pop, half of his arm went in, pulled out, and landed behind him, heading toward another Demon.

The people in the distance saw that the Evil Tumor Guard, detested by all Martial Artists, stood motionless, its body melting into a puddle of toxic liquid, slowly shrinking and flowing.

The morale of the Demons was on the verge of collapse.

They engaged Zhou Leng hesitantly.

In front of Zhou Leng, Heart and Mind Shadow.

Sometimes a Palm Technique, sometimes a punch, sometimes a Flying Cloud Leg, sometimes a grapple, sometimes a claw rupture, occasionally using the Void-Breaking Finger.

A jab, a hole.

Before long, twenty Demons came to intercept him, lying on the ground.

Each received an average of three moves.

Zhou Leng's clothes were tattered, with many patches of skin slightly red.

All wounds were mended by powerful True Qi.

At first glance, he was unharmed.

"Go!" Zhou Leng stepped uphill, followed by six others.

In front, the Demons dared not divide their forces to block him.

As they approached, the Skinless Warlock extended a finger, pointing at Zhou Leng.

An invisible white light flashed by, darting into Zhou Leng's brow, unavoidable.

Painful whipping.

Zhou Leng remained unchanged.

The Skinless Warlock struck again.

Fear Illusion.

Zhou Leng's face remained calm.

The Skinless Warlock raised his trembling right hand and used another Spell.

"Skull Splitting Technique!"

The Skinless Warlock screamed miserably.

This is the most powerful Spiritual Mind Magic below Innate, causing lasting tearing pain even to those with strong Spiritual Will, with no immunity.

Even Innate Powerhouses would be severely injured.

In an instant, the Demons laughed.

It was indeed effective.

Zhou Leng shook his head.

The Demons' laughter halted halfway, then paused.

Zhou Leng regained his calm.

The shake of his head was like shaking wet hair after freshly drying it.

They could see Zhou Leng's forehead skin gently trembling.

Zhou Leng was not immune, enduring the terrifying Skull Splitting Technique.

Yet, his eyes were calm, with deep pupils.

His gaze showed a hint of emotion.

Not pain, not fear, but a subtle disgust.

The Demons were very familiar with this look.

If touched by lowly Inferior Demons, they would show this kind of revulsion.

Zhou Leng looked at the Skinless Warlock, extended a finger, and tapped.

He slightly tilted his head and said to his companions behind him, "Protect yourselves."

Having said that, Zhou Leng charged straight at the Skinless Warlock protected by Demons.

The Skinless Warlock took a step back.

"Don't be afraid!"

After speaking, the Skinless Warlock used Spiritual Magic again, targeting the Demons present.

A burst of invigorating evil light, the Demons' eyes turned red.

The Skinless Warlock's body flickered, a thin stream of fresh blood gushed out, quickly running over his unskinned muscles.

Three failures of Spiritual Attack caused him slight backlash.

"Counter!"

"Cooperate with our senior brother's counterattack!"

Three Tree-men, roots underfoot writhing like snakes, supported their trunks, charging toward the Demons at unthinkable speed.

Each Tree-man stood four to five meters tall, akin to a small Giant.

The Humanoid Alliance numbered over twenty people, the Demon Alliance, fifty to sixty.

The smaller group charged.

In a flash, the Demon Alliance's formation was in chaos.

The alignment that could block Zhou Leng split open a gap.

Zhou Leng used the Extreme Realm Flying Crane Technique, reaching as swiftly as the wind.

After approaching the Demon, he stepped into the Eight Trigrams Step, his body suddenly splitting into three shadows, threading through the formation gap.

"Stepping Technique, Divine Communication..."

Before everyone's eyes flickered, Zhou Leng appeared in front of the Skinless Warlock.

Around him, the Demons launched their attacks simultaneously.

Zhou Leng's whole body suddenly expanded, True Qi covering him completely.

He resisted the Demon's attacks, throwing out a punch.

The Skinless Warlock's figure flickered, vanished from its place, reappearing fifty meters away, surrounded by the glow of magic.

He glanced back at Zhou Leng and fled toward the distance.

Multiple Demons struck Zhou Leng's body; he grunted, lunged forward to the ground, rolled, got up, and with Flying Crane Technique pursued the Skinless Warlock.

A hundred meters per step, thunder with every step.

One second, two seconds, three seconds.

Zhou Leng overtook the Skinless Warlock.

The Skinless Warlock stood still.

Not only was his skin gone, but his head too.

Zhou Leng carried the head of the Skinless Warlock, turned to face the Demons.

His forehead skin still trembled gently.

His gaze was as calm as ever.

The Demon Alliance instantly collapsed, fleeing across the mountain.

"Kill!"

"Kill!"

The Humanoid Alliance in groups of three or five chased the solitary Demons.

Zhou Leng unleashed his Lightweight Skill, began a great pursuit.

These Demons were already opponents Zhou Leng could defeat in three moves, and now with their morale broken, focused solely on running, they were often killed by Zhou Leng in one or two moves.

Zhou Leng killed over a dozen, watched as other Demons had run far away, dragged the corpse of a Humpbacked Bull Demon, and strode back to his original position.
