Kai, Mei, Lily, and Kitty were inside the Organization's main base — a massive tree. Yuki was there too, lying lifeless, sprawled on the floor.

Lily and Kitty stared at Kai in terror, while Mei was deep in thought, trying to figure out how they could escape.

Before Kai killed Yuki, she had given them one crucial piece of information — they were waiting outside the base. Since they couldn't use the main exit, they had to find another way out.

Kai dropped the bloody knife to the floor, his expression slowly returning to normal. He sighed, then looked at his sister.

"Got anything?" he asked, but she was still thinking.

"M-master... Did you really kill Mary?" Lily asked, swallowing hard.

"What do you take me for?" he asked, stepping closer. "Do you think I'm... a monster?" he asked, eyes fixed on Lily.

Lily instinctively took a step back. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that..." she said, her voice trembling.

"Of course I didn't kill her. I just used her to get revenge on Yuki," Kai explained, stepping back. "Anyway, that doesn't matter now. We can't go through the front — they're waiting for us."

Kai looked down at Yuki. "If only we could teleport..." he muttered, then turned to Lily. "How was she even able to teleport?"

Lily blinked a few times before answering. "Um... That was her wish."

"So, Vorenhart...?" Kai ansed, then looked at his sister.

"Brother..." Mei spoke up.

"Yeah?"

She pointed at Yuki. "Can you make a zombie?" she asked.

"A zombie...? I've never seen a spell that can do that..." Kai said, then paused. "But... there is one that can make puppets..."

"Out of dead people?" Lily asked nervously. "Isn't that... sacrilege?"

"Do you want to survive or not?" Kai snapped, not even waiting for an answer. He knelt beside Yuki and placed his hand on hers. "Puppet!"

His hand began to glow white, and Yuki slowly rose to her feet. Her movements were stiff and unnatural, but she managed to reach the stairs.

Kai's breathing grew uneven, but he stood up anyway. "Let's go!" he shouted.

"Are you alright?" his sister asked.

"Don't worry... I'll rest when we're back," he said, moving toward the window. He looked down — no one was there. Turning back to the others, he said, "Jump and run forward as fast as you can!"

Lily nodded. "Y-you go first, Master!"

"Mei goes first," Kai ordered, looking at his sister.

Mei stepped up to the window and jumped out, Kai right behind her, followed by Lily and Kitty. Together, they sprinted toward the forest in the distance.

It didn't take long for the Organization's girls to discover Yuki was nothing but a puppet. Neko girls could already hear footsteps running away in the distance.

"Group SHINKA!" one of the girls shouted, and all those with SHINKA Cores began chasing after the siblings.

"They're catching up," Lily said.

While Lily and Kitty feared being caught, Kai and Mei were grinning like maniacs.

"Success rate?" Kai asked quietly, glancing at his sister.

"Seventy-three percent," Mei replied.

"So, 27% chance they catch us... and 73% that Lily does her part..." Kai thought, staring at Lily behind him.

They were so close to the forest — but the girls were even closer.

"We won't make i—" Kai began, but in the blink of an eye, everything changed.

Suddenly, they were in a cave. "Huh?" Kitty mumbled, momentarily forgetting she was a cat.

Kai and Mei looked at Lily, who was breathing unevenly — short, shallow breaths. "Finally decided to show us your Core, huh?" Kai said with a smirk.

"Don't you trust us?" Mei asked her.

Lily tried to catch her breath, then finally spoke. "I-I'm... sorry..."

Kitty's eyes darted between Kai, Mei, and Lily, trying to piece together what had just happened.

"Such an important detail, and you decided to hide it from us..." Kai said, stepping closer. "If we hadn't planned all this, when would you have told us about your Core?" he asked.

"I-I didn't—" Lily began, but Mei interrupted.

"You didn't trust us?" she asked.

"No, that's not it..." Lily answered.

Kai grabbed her by the hair and forced her to look up. "You worthless little bitch! You disgust me!" He released her head and sat down.

Lily kept her gaze on the ground, humiliated.

In an instant, Kai sprang to his feet. With a sharp inhale, he swung his leg forward, striking her stomach with the full weight of his body behind it.

The force was like a battering ram, reverberating through the air with a sharp thwack.

Lily's back arched violently, pain shooting through her spine like jagged lightning. "Ahhh!" she cried, her voice breaking as gasps tore from her lungs.

Her breaths came in frantic, uneven bursts, each one rattling in her chest, while her heart hammered so fiercely it felt as if it might burst from her ribcage.

She stumbled backward, struggling to regain control, sweat glistening on her skin as the world spun around her.

"I-I'm sorry…" she sobbed, her voice cracking under the weight of guilt.

Tears streamed uncontrollably down her face, tracing burning trails across her cheeks before splashing onto the stone.

"Bitch!" Kai roared. His fist slammed into her head with a sickening thud, sending a jolt of pain radiating through her skull.

"Do you have any idea how worried I was about my sister!?" he yelled.

Before she could even catch her breath, his boot connected with her head, the force knocking her off balance.

Lily tumbled to the ground, her head slamming against a jagged rock with a sharp crack. Stars exploded behind her eyelids as the world blurred into a whirl of pain and dizziness.

Blood gushed from a wound on her forehead, soaking her pink hair and turning it a shocking, vivid red.

She tasted copper on her lips, her vision swimming as darkness threatened to drag her under.

"You're not passing out now!" Kai barked. With a swift, unyielding grip, he yanked her up by the collar.

Before she could even catch a breath, his other fist drove into her stomach with brutal precision, making the air whoosh out of her lungs.

Kitty, frightened, crawled over to Mei. She lay down beside her legs and began to purr.

Mei bent down to pet her. "You probably don't understand any of this, huh?" she said softly, then began explaining. "We constructed this plan so that, in 73% of cases, Lily would reveal her Core to us.

We manipulated the situation to make it look like she had only one option — to save us.

And just as predicted, she did. She used her Core — or rather, her Legendary Core that allows her to stop time.

We don't yet know exactly how it works, but that's not important. What matters is that Lily is far too dangerous with it. But we have another plan to make sure we can use her Core when we need it.

Kai's beating her right now because it's part of the plan... and because he's actually angry at her."

Kitty listened as Mei explained everything, realizing she had only a 27% chance of dying — not high, but still... more than zero.

Mei looked over at her brother, still puzzled. "How did you even manage to capture Mary...?"

Kai stopped hitting Lily, turned toward his sister, and smirked. "Simple. Aizen helped me..."

When Mei heard that, she decided to ask one last thing. "Are we leaving?"

"Give me a few more minutes..." Kai said, grabbing Lily by the collar again.

Mei shook her head in disbelief and sighed. "Fine, fine. Just don't kill her, okay?" she said, and he simply nodded.

The ground split open beneath her bare feet, molten cracks glowing like veins of fire. The air rippled from the impact, carrying the scent of divine energy.

The ground trembled with her power, and the air vibrated with her fury. "Kai... Mei... you're finished..." she growled through clenched teeth.
