Nothingness.
That was what Klaus, Rue, and the three Worldborn felt the moment they heard Noah's True Name. It was strange, they all thought, how sudden and immediate their death came.
As if the lives they had been living, everything they went through, their millions and billions of years of existence… were something that could be snuffed out simply by hearing a True Name.
It was even stranger and humbling to realize they could not bear the weight of one existence.
It was not like they were in front of a Progenitor. It was not like they were in front of an Origin. It was not like they were in front of a Legacy Bearer. It was not like they were in front of a True Child of a Progenitor…
…They were simply in front of an abomination who rose to power not long ago.
That was what they thought before Noah began to introduce himself.
And now they knew who they had in front of them. And in that knowledge came the understanding of who now held absolute control over their entire being.
They were slaves now, they painfully realized after coming back to life by the simple words of Noah.
They could feel the deep power of causality inside them, and they could feel that even if they wanted to sever it, they couldn't. It was too strong, and Noah had put enough effort into making it even more special and binding.
After all, they became slaves without any of their Progenitors knowing anything about the event taking place here.
Not only because the place they were in was the Soul of Noah, but also because Noah had applied his Domain — Genesis — all around his soul, making it even more impossible for anyone to notice.
Taking all of this into account…
"S-Slave…?" Rue stammered, his golden searing eyes wide not because of his death just now but because of what he had become.
His body began to tremble in both pain and rage. And yet he could feel that he could do nothing about the situation or the man who had done this to him.
He was powerless. That alone was something worthy of being killed in the LightTorcheur Faction of the Celestials and still be granted mercy with your soul intact. But added to that, being a slave?
Death would be a mercy no one would grant you. And yet everyone would do their utmost best to make your life itself worthy of the deepest level of Hell.
He was not the only one breaking down. Klaus, too, was questioning his whole life. Yet the more he thought, the more his heart seemed to sink deeper and deeper into a bottomless pit of despair.
'A mistake,' he painfully thought, 'Lord Orien made a mistake.' He slowly raised his head and saw Noah standing just a couple of meters from them, his hands behind his back with a peaceful smile plastered on his lips.
Klaus tried to suppress a shudder, but to no avail.
'This is a monster, Lord Orien! A monster! You cannot go against him. No! Not only you…'
He gritted his teeth so hard a cracking sound boomed through the whole place, 'We should not go against him.'
Because not only was he an Abomination, but also a Progenitor.
But it was far too late.
"Now, now," Noah said, slowly crouching down to be at eye level with them, "there is no need to think too much about what just happened, okay? I was just playing with you." He smiled, then shifted his head toward Rue.
"Rue Octave, I see that you are here to search for Justicia," he said directly, already digesting everything about them, especially their memories.
He saw many interesting things and understood more comprehensively how the celestial race ruled and lived, their political history and internal strife.
One internal strife in particular caught his attention. One related to Justicia and…
'…how amusing.' Noah couldn't help but think, smiling.
Meanwhile, Rue was surprised to hear Noah saying Justicia's name with such familiarity. "You… you know her?" he asked.
"Of course," Noah said, "she is my wife, after all."
Rue's mind went blank.
Noah ignored him next and looked at Klaus, "And you, Klaus, were ordered to bring us back, but mainly my wives." Noah's voice was cold.
"How daring. Wanting to capture us?" Selene's voice echoed around.
"Hahahah! Do they think we are weak?" Red's maniacal tone boomed next.
"Seems like it. Ah, I told husband to let us fight. Now see, people think they can capture us easily," Elizabeth complained.
"You want to fight? I just want candy and—!"
"Shut up, red-skinned woman, it's not the time for that."
"Dominique, that was racist," Emily corrected her sister.
"Hahahah! You are all so fun!" Emmie cackled.
And Noah, who had slowly been becoming angry at Orien's daring order, slowly calmed down as he heard his wives talk and shook his head wryly.
"You heard my wives?" Noah said with a smile, "they want to fight."
He looked at Rue and Klaus. "Your worlds belong to me now, but they still worship you, making you stand at Law Creator rank."
"Now you see, I don't want to weaken my own slaves, it's contre-productif. So I have to look for other worlds for my wives to be World Dominator."
His lips curled upward. "Tell me all your worlds. Not any worlds, I want high-level worlds. And not any high-level worlds either, I want each one specific to my wives' attributes."
"You understand me?"
Being now his slaves and unable to disobey, they nodded their heads in response.
After that, Noah transferred into their minds each of his wives' attributes. Selene for ice, Zara for emotions, Emmie for gold, Alice for voice, and so on.
Only Virgo was not yet an Elysiari because of a power inside her that Noah could not allow himself to touch just yet.
He had asked her, and she said it was the power of Ruin, a Pillar.
Now Noah didn't know what a Pillar was, and neither did Virgo — as the only thing she knew was that he was called that and that he was extremely strong — but the power he had left tainting Virgo's core was harrowing in proportion.
Yet Noah already had an idea on how to solve that issue. And somehow, he believed it would lie in the power system he would create after this welcomed disturbance.
For now, Virgo would stay as a red-skinned alien, while Noah collected the information of all the worlds for his wives.
At Noah's order, Rue and Klaus used the worlds under their factions to give him what he needed. Not their own, though. Klaus used the worlds under the House of Treeval, a subordinate of Worldborn, while Rue — petty as he was — used the world of one of his enemies named Bidew of Moon.
After having all the worlds and the information about them, Noah discussed his next set of plans.
At that point, his wives were already all around him, causing the captured men to feel pressure rarely experienced before.
Rue, for instance, was staring at Elizabeth with wide eyes, his expression showing both shock and a deep, hidden fear at the both familiar and unfamiliar sight of Elizabeth.
Noah knew exactly why, having his memories, and so only smiled. "Focus, Rue. My dear wife might still forgive you if you do your job correctly."
Rue nodded weakly, stealing fearful glances at Elizabeth, still overwhelmed by all of this.
Elizabeth only tilted her head, not truly understanding.
All of this while Justicia was slightly worried. Not about Rue, but about the one he said was his brother.
The Bearer of Sun.
Justicia bit her lips, reliving the moment she spent kneeling at the feet of that man for hundreds of years because of one mistake. And the other time she witnessed a man being burned by a star until winter came in a world where the sun never rested, all because he dared to look at him the wrong way.
A madman. An arrogant madman. But one with power beyond the norm.
The Bearer of Sun was not a Law Creator, after all. He was beyond that.
Noah saw all their expressions and understood all their concerns. But he didn't say anything yet, his eyes fixed on his captives.
"I already have Echidna in the demon faction. So with you, I will have one in the elves and celestial factions. But for you, I will ask you to do some things for me there, okay?"
Then began the planning. Next, Noah killed mercilessly the three other useless Worldborn but decided to keep their skins, their memories, their scent, and their power. After all,
"I will give you three of my people who will go with you wearing the skin of these three. Make sure nothing happens to them until they get used to it." He told them, planning to send Rouge, Eric, and Malrik.
For Rue, "How about the story of a disciple you found outside? An extremely talented one at that?" He smirked, making Rue grit his teeth and nod strainingly.
Noah was thinking of sending his own son.
Premier needed to experience the universe.
Foxy could wait, she was his precious daughter.
Just like that, Noah and the wives discussed their plans, making both Rue and Klaus shocked to the brim, realizing the horror of it while knowing they were already part of it.
After that, Noah and the wives exited his soul place, leaving Rue and Klaus there until the preparations were ready.
Once back in Laeh, Noah gave his order to call Eric, Rouge, Malrik, and Premier. And in that same breath, he turned his attention to Justicia and Elizabeth.
He smiled.
"A talk, maybe, ladies?"
