I CLIMB (A Progression/Evolution Sci-Fi Novel)

Author Announcement: New Novel Teaser

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all doing well.

With the last arc wrapped up and a new one about to begin, this felt like the perfect moment to share some exciting news: my next novel is on the way!

No Place for Hope will launch in a couple of months and will run three times a week, alternating days with I Climb. If you're curious, you can check out the Cover and Summary below — and even better, the first five chapters are already available for free on my Patreon.

For now, the novel will be running on Patreon first, but it will eventually be fully available on Royal Road for free — as with all my stories. Patreon is just a way to give me a little extra support and motivation to keep writing consistently.

Also, a quick note on I Climb: I'm considering switching Alonso's POV to third-person, past tense (starting from chapter 287). I'd love to hear your thoughts — if you'd like to weigh in, there's a poll running on Patreon (no subscription required to vote).

One last thing — I'm working on this new novel together with my friend Harry (who's also been helping me with I Climb, keeping me from messing things up :) It'll lean more heavily into LitRPG elements, feature a single POV, and have a tone and style I think many of you will enjoy.

Thanks again for all your support and for reading — it means the world. The next arc of I Climb kicks off without delay in the next release — a long one, with a lot of thought and worldbuilding behind it. I hope you enjoy what's coming!

Cheers!

Let's go, lads. We got places to blast.

—Hope

In a cosmos splintered into human subspecies, forged by extreme worlds and bound by brutal caste- and race-purity hierarchies, an RPG-based System reigns supreme.

System Law No. 2: No logic-bound, self-sustaining construct—whether technological or magical—shall function without the direct, ongoing involvement of a living, magical entity. Any attempt to create automation or self-operating systems simply will not work.

Automation is dead. Magic requires will. Every spell, every machine, every tool must be guided by a living hand. No circuits. No self-fueling portals. No enchanted machinery left to run alone.

Humanity spread across the void—only to be bound in feudal chains, forged of blood and steel.

Follow the story of Hope—a street-raised orphan from a dead-rock wasteland—suddenly hurled into an Earth-like planet full of vivid colors and strange, bizarre things like grass, clouds, and even trees!

He'll heed the constant ping of system messages, hunt and be hunted, and level up his skills in a place built to test him.

"Hope ain't a feeling—it's me."

What to expect:

Weak to strong MC

Heavy LitRPG mechanics

Sci-fi/Space Opera with fantasy elements

Anti-hero with strong moral core

Solid, consistent progression system

Mainly single POV (with scattered interludes)

Gritty setting with occasional dark humor

Worldbuilding through action, not infodumps

No harem (ever), no romance (for now :)
