Many had objections, but after Hell Monarch personally branded Bilad as the new interim Hell King of Nex Morbus (sixth level of Hell) for the next millions of years, everyone had to accept him.
Truth be told, many are happy.
The demigods who wished to become Hell Kings were all happy.
To them, 5.7 million years is just a sleep away. It will soon reach, and when that day comes, they will all challenge the Hell Throne regardless of who is sitting on it.
Becoming a Hell King has many benefits, so everyone wants it.
However, due to the 5.7 million-year challenge ban, despite being the weakest Hell level so far, no one can challenge it.
Kent even teased them, causing many to put it at the back of their minds to pay the brat back a thousandfold.
"I know most of you want to become Hell Kings and Queens. However, since that place is occupied now, I wouldn't mind opening slots for you to become the next City Lords... I mean, a few demigods as City Lords isn't too bad, is it?"
They want him dead, and in 5.7 million years' time, they will have their revenge.
Kent just scoffs and promises them he will be sure to prepare.
After that, Bilad said goodbye to Nyx, who was happy for him. They will have a chance to meet and talk later, but for now, he has a job to do, and so he must focus on that.
Kent took Nyx to the first city he defeated by disguising them both to appear like natives of the city of chains.
"So you are going back down there for how long?" Nyx asked, already aware that Kent wished to return to the core layer of the Damned Hell Sea to train.
His soul flame, flame resistance, and comprehension are still there, alongside 65,000 more flame veins to form. So he will be gone for a while.
"About 295 years, give or take."
"Okay. Then I will wait for you here... I would have gone with you, but I use the Ice element, and being there for long will affect me badly."
"I understand. Just stay here... I will be back soon."
Kent left, and soon, he was back to the core layer, at the bottom of the Damned Hell Sea, where he resumed his training inside the pool of the Supreme Grade Primordial Hell Flame.
He had already spent four years in Hell, but because he couldn't leave until the 300 years were over, he decided to train instead of roaming the various cities in Hell.

[294 years later - Bottom of the Damned Hell Sea]
⟪You have attained the first stage of Flame Immunity; Ember Immunity⟫
⟪You have attained the first stage of Flame Harmony; Resonant Harmony⟫
⟪Your Chaos Soul Flame has upgraded: Tier 14 ↠ Tier 15⟫
Kent opened his eyes, the feeling of power and comprehension oozing from his body. He had been seated in the same place for 294 good years.
Naturally, that was tiring. However, Kent is a cultivator and had already been in an extended seclusion before, so this was no new thing to him.
However, this time, despite spending close to three centuries in seclusion, he will walk out with many benefits.
He had already reached Flame Immunity and Flame Harmony.
The only thing left for him to do now is to comprehend the Flame Laws, which will take him through the five stages of immunity and harmony before attaining True Flame Immunity and True Flame Harmony.
For that, he needs to fight beings who have begun to comprehend the Laws of Flame. Of course, for that to happen, he must go to the Immortal Worlds. That is the only place he can comprehend the flame laws.
This means for a while, he will be stuck at the first stage.
"But I have formed 65,000 more flame veins, making 135,000 flame veins, and my Soul flame is now Tier 15." Kent smiled, remembering something Agni said.
"Agni said I needed pills to help form flame veins and cores. He also said I need to form seven flame cores and at least 108,000 flame veins before I can learn the Finger of Destruction technique.
Aside from that, he also said I need to have weak flame resistance before I can learn it. However, despite reaching Flame Harmony, I can feel the 'Finger of Destruction' calling to me."
Kent chuckled... "I have only formed one flame core, but I know it is already big enough to fuel the Finger of Destruction, meaning I can learn it now."
He examined his body and could tell he could indeed learn the technique.
He closed his eyes again and entered the Sword Mind to learn. When he appeared, he saw the runes for the Claw Art, but he didn't attempt it, for he knew he was still too weak for that technique.
He moved straight to the runes for the Finger of Destruction and began learning.
---
[9 months later]
A long, colossal, and flaming finger descended, shaking the entire space. As it moved, stars, moons, and planets started exploding. The chunks from the explosion melted in one hellish blaze.
"Damn."
Kent muttered, staring at the finger move with a smile on his face. It had been daunting, but he managed to learn a small part of the first form of the Finger of Destruction.
What he was staring at was the true first form. But, compared to his understanding, he was still years behind.
However, when Kent raised his hand and pointed his finger forward, a 30-meter-long flaming finger appeared. It was a weaker version of the true Finger of Destruction; however, it was strong enough to kill those below the Immortal stage.
"I now understand why Agni said one needs seven flame cores. Just using it once has taken 20% of my flame essence. This means I can use it only five times."
Kent sighed, and then he opened his eyes to the outside.
"Agni is wrong about one thing, though. The amount of flame veins that can be formed is not 500,000 but rather 1.5 million.
This means I have a long way to go. Hopefully, one day, I can form that many flame veins and finally stand at a stage not even the God of Speed can rival me."
Kent stood up and walked back outside, where Avotha and Gaap were waiting for him.
"Let's go."
They started flying back to the outside world. Kent had only a few weeks left, so he planned to see what had become of his kingdom before he left.
Three hours later, they were back in the City of Chains, where Nyx was waiting for him.
She would return to the Underworld to pursue her own dreams. But before leaving, Kent wanted to make sure she wouldn't be sending herself to an early grave.
Kent was thrilled to see that new City Lords had been chosen, and the cities were now thriving more than ever.
He also discovered that a new rule had been made by the Hell King, allowing anyone to challenge the City Lords every 100,000 years.
This way, instead of the City Lords thinking they were undisputed, this challenge would put them straight and help them grow in both experience and strength.
Lastly, the City of Flies was now the City of Bulls. A new race of Hell demons had occupied it.
