I had no complaints about the weapon of course and I told Franz as much.

He even managed to make a Power Armour for us and because we specifically requested the Power Armour to be a general use model and not something specialised, there wasn't anything special about it.

He really spent all his time on Yumiko and my weapons it seems.

Needless to say, Yumiko was also really happy with her weapon so I even went ahead to pay him some Credits despite him telling me there was no need to.

Well, we did earn quite a lot from all the hustles we did for them so it wasn't a big deal to just pay him a little tip to show our appreciation.

After all… We might even come back here in the future so we might as well have a good relationship with him if we could.

And yes, we waited until we brought the Power Armour back on the ship before Renata ate it.

Now the only thing we need is to have a practical test for these weapons somewhere.

And seeing that we were in the middle of a civil war right now… We don't need to look far for an opportunity like that.

So all we had to do was to get a hustle off their network, specifically one that was about participating in a siege of an outpost that would be happening soon.

From what the hustle description was saying, there was a trade station that the opposing side had taken over and converted into a defense platform.

Since this station was located in a system that overlooked the only Warp Gate leading to several forge stations that was being used by the rebels, they wanted to break through the defenses to cripple their supply.

And while they could destroy the station, they would rather seize it and occupy it to use it against the rebels instead so they can secure a path of retreat while they pour in through the gaps to secure the other systems that the Warp Gate leads to.

In other words, we were participating in a raid.

I looked out of the cockpit to marvel at the ships that were gathered in front of ours.

While I was only hired for the station raid, the Zwergers would be pushing past the station once it's captured to begin their assault on the other systems so they brought an entire armada for this operation.

The flagship was a giant F Class Carrier that was being escorted by two F Class Battleships, twelve E Class Cruisers, eight E Class Battle Cruisers, twenty D Class Destroyers, over fifty or so C Class Corvettes and several hundreds of A and B Class Fighters and Bombers.

All those numbers that I just listed out were only on the Zwerger side because they also hired Mercs like myself and there's at least a hundred of us with ships ranging from single A Class Fighters to C Class Corvettes.

This was an even bigger operation than the one I participated in to take down that Pirate Lord.

Damn… So this is what a war in space looks like, huh…

"Pretty cool isn't it?" Amber giggled as she stood beside me, her hand naturally just slipping around my arm.

"I'm guessing you've seen a sight like this before?"

"Back when I was fighting the last civil war, yeah. I would be one of those tiny ships out there," She chuckled, pointing at one of the A Class Fighters that was hovering on our side of the formation.

Well… I can imagine that.

Those people were independent Mercs and probably also doing this just for the money with only one ship to their name. Meanwhile there's us where we have an entire Combat Freighter and two more ships in reserve in our hangar.

Then again, I was also in their shoes not too long ago so I worked to get this to begin with so there was nothing to feel guilty about.

Anyway, we were waiting for the commander of the Aircraft Carrier to call for us since they would need to brief us on the combat plans for the operation ahead.

In the meantime, a thought occurred to me.

"Hey Renata?" I called out, prompting the blue haired eldritch maid at the pilot's seat to perk up.

"What is it Daddy?"

"Why don't you let the others wear you as well? You could protect them too, right?"

Unexpectedly, her face actually scrunched up with a look of disgust, "Uggh… I don't want anyone else to wear me but Daddy. But… Urk… If Daddy really wants me to, I suppose I could do it…"

Despite saying that, she had a really disgusted look on her face, almost like the face I would make when I ate synthfood.

"Is it really that bad? Why do you hate that idea?" I asked.

She shuddered, "Because even though I like my big sisters, they aren't Daddy. I only want Daddy to be inside me."

Without context, that sounds really wrong.

No wait… Even with context, it also sounds wrong…

Amber raised her hand right then, "Sorry Tera, but I'm going to have to say that while I don't mind being in a threesome or even in an orgy with Renata, I don't want to be inside her."

Lea also turned to me from where she was seated at the weapons console, "I have to say the same, Mistress. And I prefer not to wear anything to begin with."

Yeah… I can see that… Considering the fact that you're literally wearing nothing but a pair of stockings and heels while you're seated at the console right now…

I turned to look at Yumiko and she simply pursed her lips and shook her head at me, also indicating that she was also not comfortable with the idea of wearing Renata.

Amber giggled, "Ehehe~ I'm actually impressed you actually don't seem to mind being inside her actually. I think a normal person would definitely have problems with that. Like what if you get digested or something?"

I dunno… Maybe it's because Renata doesn't feel any different from the normal clothes I would wear so I just don't associate it as actually wearing her but just another set of clothes that has Renata AI in it like the Power Armour?

But before I could say so, Renata's face materialised on my clothes on top of my chest.

"That's because Daddy is Daddy! And Daddy doesn't mind being inside me because it's me! Right, Daddy?!"

Well… I guess technically she's right because if it was some other creature that I didn't know, I definitely would not be putting it on.

I shrugged, "Well… I guess that's true. I'm only ok with this because it's Renata and I do trust her after all."

Renata giggled, "Ehehehe~ I love you Daddy!"

I patted the head that was on my chest and it felt kind of weird to be patting a face that was poking out from in between my boobs.

Amber didn't look too bothered and just hugged my arm, "As expected of Tera I suppose~ Ehehehe~ I love you too!"

I'm not sure what she meant by that but I love you too, Amber so headpats for you too.

Right then, Yumiko called out to me from the communications console.

"Mistress? I'm getting a hail from the Carrier. They must be starting soon."

I returned to my Captain's chair and answered the call, prompting a screen to open up to see a Zwerger wearing a really impressive looking military uniform and an equally impressive beard on the screen.

It then zoomed out to show another window which had various different people also looking at their own cameras which I assumed were the Merc captains also participating in this raid.

The Zwerger nodded at us, "Greetings Mercenaries. I thank you all for answering our call. We don't have much time so I will keep this short. I am Vice Admiral Karsten, the commander for this battle group and current captain of the Carrier, ZN Big Anvil. We will be jumping directly into rebel controlled space and our primary target is the station they are using as a defense platform to block the way to their forge stations. There will be heavy resistance and our aim is to capture the station intact so do not destroy the station. They refitted the station with a ship buster cannon which is effective against big ships but not effective against smaller sized ships which is where you Mercenaries come in."

That was already clear in the hustle description so there was no surprises there.

He continued, "The plan is that you Mercenaries will be boarding the station alongside an assault group from our team. We will hold off their ships until you take control of the station and turn the station's guns on them. Then we will push past them to warp to their Forge systems while you secure the system and clear out any remaining enemies. I will leave how you decide to fight up to you and rewards will be calculated based on the enemies you take down which includes the enemies within the station. That is all. Be prepared to warp in five minutes."

Welp, guess we're going now.
