Sairi grabbed a bee and began to pilot it at high speed toward the robot, dodging their shots and their dissolving substance as if he were in a fighter jet race with war maneuvers. He would occasionally jump onto another bee to clear his path until he finally reached the robot. He descended with the bee quickly until he was close to the robot, then jumped high from it, twisted his body in the air, and descended with force, extending his sword forward as he cut through the air, falling downward. Meanwhile, he saw Ivanov had gotten very close to the robot, as no one could stop him. He reached the huge robot and saw Sairi descending in the air toward it. Ivanov jumped and delivered a punch to the robot's stomach to finish it off, while Sairi descended and split its body with his sword, then slowly descended.
Ivanov punched the robot with force, and it was thrown backward from the impact. Sairi's body shook, and he almost fell to the ground because of the robot's sudden lurch, but he pulled out his sword after splitting the robot's head in half, jumped onto its body, and began to run down it as the huge robot's body fell backward.
Sairi landed next to Ivanov and said to him with annoyance, "Alright, I'll call it a draw."
The robots swarmed them from every direction and opened fire. Sairi stopped the bullets with his hand, then reflected them back at the robots, while Ivanov charged at them and began to smash their bodies and heads with his iron hand.
The robots continued to surround them, getting closer and trying to capture each one instead of killing them, after they had failed to do so.
The robots jumped on top of each other violently and recklessly in order to catch their enemy. Sairi swung his sword left and right, cutting their steel bodies one after another.
Their numbers increased, and Sairi could no longer eliminate all of them or escape.
They jumped on him and held him, but he pushed a massive amount of energy from inside his body that threw them all far away from him.
This move gave him enough space to move freely. He saw that they were completely surrounded and there was no way to escape except by eliminating all of them.
Keno opened a muzzle in his wrist and began to fire a blue beam at the hordes of robots charging toward him. The beam destroyed them as soon as it touched their metalic body, while Noor continued to hit them with the sniper rifle, taking down as many as possible.
He grabbed some explosive grenades and threw them. They exploded among robots, turning them into iron scraps.
Noor felt it was impossible to eliminate all these numbers alone, and that even thinking about it was a fantasy, no matter how strong they were.
He began to analyze the situation around him to think of a plan to escape, but he couldn't find any plan at all.
After half an hour of continuous fighting, the machines surrounded them with force, and their huge numbers began to decide the battle.
Sairi and Ivanov felt exhausted, while Noor's and Keno's ammunition began to run out. They felt that facing all these numbers alone was extremely foolish of them.
Keno prepared to activate his secret power, which he had used before in a similar situation, but he suddenly heard a sound coming from the sky. He looked up and saw five giant robots descending from above until they settled behind them.
Noor was terrified by their enormous size and realized in that moment that they were finished.
The huge robots were a shiny black color, and their bodies were about six meters tall. They had four red eyes and large hands with three iron blades coming out of each one. On their torsos, there were three red cannons on the right and three on the left.
The robots aimed their hands at Noor, and weapons protruded from them. Noor created a bulletproof shield to protect himself from the gunshots, but he noticed that they were targeting the robots and avoiding hitting him. He was stunned.
Keno stood staring for a while, trying to comprehend the situation. Their amazement ended after the head of one of the robots opened, and Ares emerged from inside, waving his hands at them.
"Hello, my friends. Sorry for the delay."
Noor remembered Ares's face from the death race, although it had changed a bit, and he had gotten older, as had everyone. "Ares, is that you?" Noor said. "Did you come to help us?"
"Yes, my dear. I came to help. I'm glad to see you alive. I was impressed by your cunning and intelligence in the death race."
"Thank you for that. But who is in the other robots?"
"No one, of course. They're all yours. They're moving now according to my orders. Now, get in them. It's time to finish off these bastards."
The heads of the robots opened, and the cockpits inside were revealed. Noor ran and shot a chain from his hand that extended to the cockpit. It grabbed onto it, then pulled him up until he was lifted to it.
He threw his body into a comfortable red chair. The head closed, and darkness fell. Then the screens lit up with a blue flash, showing instructions on how to pilot the war machine.
Noor noticed that the robot was moving and firing despite his inability to pilot it yet and reasoned that the automatic control was doing it.
Keno ran and mounted one of the robots and, with complete ease, learned how to pilot it in less than a second. He thought to himself that he was the luckiest in learning things.
Ivanov and Sairi looked at the changes on the battlefield and felt some hope after the battle had completely exhausted them.
Ivanov was surprised by his ability to activate his power for all this time and reasoned that it was because of the predicament that surrounded them now.
Sairi also felt that he had used his power more than usual and had not yet run out of energy.
Ares motioned for them to come and ride one of these robots. They charged, cutting their way through, taking down everyone in their path as the robots began to fire fiercely at the giant robots, but they were equipped with a strong, bulletproof defense system.
Both Ivanov and Sairi reached the cockpit and jumped inside. They all became connected to a single communication system, so that everyone could communicate with each other.
Ivanov was impressed by piloting this strange robot. "Ares, you cunning bastard," he said, his voice filled with curiosity. "Where did you get these amazing things?"
