As for Noor, Keno, and Iris, their giant robots were so heavily damaged that they began to retreat before the volleys of the other large robots, the bombardment of the robotic bees from above, and the attacks of Gaia's special robots, which were led by Leonus, Youssef, and Akira. Noor couldn't believe that Youssef was betraying them like this, joining Gaia against his own kind. He wanted to reach him by any means necessary to find out how he had ended up in this situation, but getting to him was next to impossible against the endless hordes of robots. He fell back with his comrades, destroying what he could, until his own robot was severely damaged. He knew he would soon have to get out and face this massacre in his physical body. As for Keno, he didn't know what to do. Turmoil tore at his mind and heart, dampening his resolve to win this war against Gaia.
The humans retreated, the robots pressing them with unparalleled pressure until they felt that in just a few more minutes, their bodies would collapse. Sairi and Ivanov felt nauseous from the overuse of their abilities and decided to withdraw, or else they would be finished. They fought their way back through the machines and shouted to those with them to retreat and save themselves. The others followed, running in terror as the machines hunted them from behind. This squad of unarmored humans had had a significant impact on the course of the war, helping to push back the machines and delay their advance, which allowed the armed forces to pick off the machines with greater ease and precision. But with their withdrawal, the armed army was left exposed. The machines began to slaughter them, and the armies gradually fell back before this fierce assault from the air and ground. To make matters worse, the army's aircraft had been greatly reduced in number during their dogfights with the robotic bees, so the bees now focused their attacks on the soldiers on the ground. The Enix soldiers, however, attacked the machines fiercely, using their advanced weapons and armor to withstand the assault as much as possible—an attack whose strength they had never witnessed before. This bought more time in a war that would have otherwise ended in the robots' favor.
The machines' pressure continued, and with it, the humans' retreat and the mounting casualties, until they felt that surrender was better than being annihilated here. But they didn't know how to surrender to machines that knew no mercy. Even if they surrendered, it wouldn't stop the robots from slaughtering them all. Just as despair and exhaustion took hold of them, a man who resembled Gaia with his silver hair and skin suddenly appeared. He stood in the middle of the battlefield, looking toward the machines. The robots aimed their weapons at him, trying to determine his identity and decide whether to kill him or not. When they determined he was not an ally, they aimed and fired dozens of shots, filling the area with dust and smoke. Everyone thought he was surely dead, but as soon as the smoke cleared, they saw that he was, by some miracle, still alive.
The stranger advanced. Keno saw him and focused on him, surprised to realize it was "Yassin." Keno knew that bullets had no effect on him because he could turn his body into air particles, allowing the bullets to pass right through him.
Yassin raised his hand in the air and shouted, "Astra, assemble!"
Suddenly, from between the ruined buildings to the left, the Astra emerged, shouting. At their forefront were Omar, Minora, Jarin, and Eliano. They charged toward the robots, harnessing nature to support them against these machines that were hostile to life and nature. They clashed with them, unleashing fire, earthquakes, rocks, floods, and plants, pressing them and balancing the scales of battle. But the arrival of Gladious on the battlefield also meant that Athenos, Gaia's brother, had arrived with him from Earth to the planet of Atlantis to take what was rightfully his and reclaim the kingdom Gaia had stolen from him.
Minutes after Yassin and his companions arrived, hundreds of massive blue ships descended from space. They began to bombard the robots from the sky with plasma and thermal projectiles. Hundreds of Astra soldiers who had followed Athenos in his ordeal landed on the battlefield, wearing blue spacesuits and holding advanced weapons. They began to destroy Gaia's robots in the air and on the ground. When the humans saw all this madness, for which they had no explanation, they felt as if they had fallen through a gap into a strange world they knew nothing about. But they felt that whatever was happening could only be in their favor. So they regrouped and continued the battle, hoping to finish all of this and then understand what was happening in this world of wonders.
Youssef, Akira, and Leonus saw what was happening and knew it was only a matter of time before they lost this long battle. They realized that Gladious was more cunning than they had imagined, having managed to unite everyone against them. This was because of the enmities Gaia had created to protect the Crystal of Life. They had never expected all these factions to intervene against them; they thought the battle would end with negotiations with the humans, but Gladious and the Enix had ruined everything.
Gladious emerged from the Stargate, which had opened like a black hole in the air. He wore a black spacesuit adorned with gold lines running down its sides and a black helmet with a small amount of white around his eyes, which glowed blue. The white extended gradually to cover the sides of his face by his ears. He wore a black cape filled with elegant vertical golden stripes, and on his chest was an emblem of a large, distinctively-featured planet. He radiated an aura of awe, reverence, and apprehension. He stepped forward and spoke in his distinctive voice, which Gaia remembered all too well from before.
"Do you still think you are the savior who will free the universe? The old world has fallen under the hand of the Zurix, and the Lunix power centers in the universe have been shattered. There is little left before the old, sick Lunix empire falls, so that we can begin the new world and end the ancient age of darkness."
Gaia looked at him with great disgust and loathing, hatred and animosity burning in his heart. Consumed by a deep rage, he said, "I will rebuild the empire after I finish with this nuisance that has filled my planet, and I will liberate all the occupied planets. Then, we will begin the new world with our own values and vision."
