Lord of Cosmos

Chapter 129: The Flood 2

At the same time, Omar and Eyad looked at each other, their faces yellow and pale from what they had heard, as if they were frozen in place.

They felt that their world had suddenly collapsed, and in one night, everything they had known was not real!

When did the truth begin? And when did it stop? And is there really a truth? Or is everything a big lie wrapped in a cloak of other lies?

They could not say a word and felt that madness was approaching them slowly, slowly.

After a long, heavy silence, and after feeling that there were mountains on their chests, crushing them, Omar uttered some words with great difficulty, saying in a trembling, shaky voice, "If... this is the truth... then how did we get here?"

Minora turned to him, her face showing the same confusion.

She said in a gloomy tone, "I don't know how you got here! But I can guess that the humans on planet Earth discovered the location of Atlantis and set out on a journey to it.

You were with them. When they landed on it, they saw the robots attacking them, so they took refuge in Atlantis 2 and washed your minds to convince you to fight these robots, and that this is planet Earth and you must save it.

But why did they do this? I cannot answer that question. You must go to them again and ask them about this!"

He fell silent again and turned his face to the ground. He was lost in thought, and thousands of fragments of ideas were colliding with each other in an attempt to put everything in its right place, but to no avail.

Eyad's gloomy tone cut off his train of thought as he said in a hoarse voice, "And how do you know all this information? It seems you are making some of it up!"

Minora fell silent as if there were a heavy secret on her heart that she wanted to reveal but could not.

The old man looked at her and nodded his head for her to tell them.

She looked at them shyly, then said, "I am the legitimate sister of Athenos and Gaia. I lived with them in the palace, and I knew and saw everything."

Both Eyad and Omar gasped in surprise.

Eyad shouted, his vocal cords aching, "What? Are you kidding me?"

"No. I am really their sister. I fled here because of the madness of the war. I tried to stop Gaia from what he was doing, but he almost killed me, and the look of madness and evil was seeping from his eyes.

So I was afraid of him and fled with the rest of the Astra to this island. But as you can see, we have returned to a primitive state again. We live among the trees and feed on fruits and hunting until we find a solution to what is happening.

But it does not seem that this catastrophe will end until after Gaia's death. And you know that we live for about a thousand years, and Gaia is six hundred years old. This means that we will have to wait for four centuries until he passes away."

Minora felt depressed and sad, so she fell silent and lowered her face to the ground.

Omar said to himself, "It seems we are in a dirty game that is happening because of unknown creatures that are stronger, smarter, and more advanced than us.

This means that we are just pawns that have been placed here for some reason!

Maybe we were sent here to take down Gaia and put an end to his madness.

That is why they convinced us that planet Earth has been occupied by robots and has been destroyed by them, to plant resentment and hatred in us toward the robots, as they hid the truth from us so that no one would panic and demand to return to planet Earth.

This means... that planet Earth is still fine and has not been harmed.

And all we need to do to return and get out of this war that we have nothing to do with is to reveal the truth to the current people of Atlantis 2, which is us.

And after that, we will let the rebellion happen, and the government will be forced to submit to us, and we will return to our homeland.

But why should we help our ancestors from the humans, the Astra? What do we have to do with this?

Did Athenos send this to Earth, asking for their help? So he knows our history and knows that they were on planet Earth before.

So some humans must have survived the flood, so he sent to them to help him in his war against Gaia!

And he took many humans and deceived them to fight in a war that they had nothing to do with.

But... should we help them? They seem like a peaceful people, and they have a lot of knowledge, and they have created a great civilization that may help humanity overcome its endless problems and wars.

And they also have that strange crystal that gave them great power, and they have an average lifespan that exceeds five hundred years, and they have this power to control some elements of nature.

Maybe they will be of great help to us. But will we survive this devastating war if we enter it?

With all their power and progress, they fell before the robots that are controlled by this so-called Gaia.

Oh my God, I don't know what I should do! I feel like I'm going to go insane."

The silence in the small prison was heavy, thick with the weight of shattered realities. Omar was lost in the chaotic storm of his own thoughts, a spiral of doubt and impossible choices. Eyad watched him for a long moment, his own face a mask of grim frustration. He had no patience for philosophy when their lives were on the line.
