The roots continued to surround them at a tremendous speed from every direction, charging toward them with ferocity and violence, but the bullets from their weapons were taking them down one after another. They approached the light and jumped high out of the forest, finding themselves rolling endlessly on a large, wide plain of blue grass. The roots stopped at the edges of the forest and retreated. After rolling for a long time without stopping, the three of them collided with a rock and stopped moving. The impact hurt them despite the strength of the suit, but they thanked God that this impact was not with their bare bodies, or they would have been shattered. Akira stood up slowly, feeling every part of his body aching severely, but he pushed himself and extended his hand to Yousef, who in turn took his hand and helped him to stand. They also helped Keno. When they had caught their breath, they surveyed the area around them and found that they were on a large blue plain. When they looked at the rock they had collided with, they found it was very large. Keno sighed. "If this rock hadn't been here, I don't know where we would have fallen."
Suddenly, the rock moved. The three of them retreated, brandishing their weapons in fear and anticipation, as they watched the rock take shape and change. But in reality, it was not a rock, but a creature sleeping peacefully in this plain, and they had awakened it. A huge giant with golden hair covering its entire body and a face that was a mixture of human and lion stood before them, with thick white hair on its chest. The giant looked at them, sparks flying from its eyes. It roared with a terrifying sound that shook the area and almost knocked the three of them to the ground with its force.
"Run to the top of the hill, now!" Keno screamed in terror.
Without thinking, they began to run at top speed without stopping. The giant began to run after them, but it possessed a speed and agility that amazed Keno. How could a creature of its size run at such a high speed? It was approaching them very quickly. They turned and fired at it as they ran, but it did not stop. Keno took out a small cannon from his wrist and fired five small but powerful rockets. They exploded with tremendous force, covering most of the giant, and dust filled the air. Everyone stopped, thinking it had fallen. As they waited for the dust cloud to clear, the giant's hand extended from within the dust and grabbed Keno.
"Run away from here, quickly!" Keno screamed. "You must complete the mission, and quickly!"
As the giant lifted Keno to its mouth, Keno threw the energy capsule to Akira. He caught it and pulled Yousef, who was frozen in place with fear. They ran between the giant's feet at full speed, while the giant lifted Keno to its mouth. Keno was struggling to escape its grasp. He looked in terror as he saw his imminent end, alone in the giant's stomach until he breathed his last. He let out a final scream, "Gladious!"
The giant threw Keno into its mouth and swallowed him in one gulp. It began to search with its eyes for the other two and did not notice that they were running behind it.
Akira and Yousef got far away from the giant, but they could still see it as if it were close because of its size. After a long run, they saw blue creatures running on two feet at high speed and resembling small dinosaurs in their shape. They kept running beside them without doing anything, so Yousef watched them cautiously. After that, Akira and Yousef found a cliff in front of them. After a minute, they were in front of it, and the strange creatures had separated from them to run in another direction. They stopped, panting, and after they had caught their breath, they looked to see what was beyond it. Akira gasped loudly, while Yousef's jaw dropped in amazement, and he froze in place with astonishment. It was as if they were above the clouds. In front of them, on the right and left, were black mountains covered with snow at the top, and in the middle of the mountains was a path of black sand that led to a large, ornate bridge of gold, agate, and turquoise, studded with jewels.
There were many white clouds below the bridge, extending to infinity in all directions, as if they were flying in the sky. And the bridge extended to a distant city from which towers, buildings, and structures rose. The strange and large blue sun, which Akira had never seen before, cast its rays on the city and on the clouds, making you think you were at the gates of heaven at first glance.
Yousef looked at Akira, and they exchanged glances without either of them saying a word. After a few seconds, Akira broke the silence. "My God, what is this?!"
"Really, really, I don't know. Did we die and move to another world, or what? What is this nonsense? My mind can't take any more of this."
Akira said it and felt extreme anger and a lump in his throat that was eating at his heart. Yousef said, checking the map, "We've reached the red dot. We've finished our mission. We'll put the capsule here and go back to our homes."
Akira grabbed the red capsule, which looked to be the size of a human foot, and planted it firmly in the ground until only a small part of it protruded from the ground. Akira threw his body on the ground and began to catch his breath inside the suit that was trapping him, and he could not take it off because he did not know if he would be able to breathe the air here or not! And Yousef stood beside him silently, contemplating the delightful and frightening scene at the same time. Fragments of his thoughts were colliding in his head.
"What do you think is in this city on the horizon?" he said to Akira in a monotonous, desperate tone.
Akira looked at him, then turned his gaze to the sky. "I don't know. Maybe it's the city of robots, or a city of civilized creatures we know nothing about. I don't know."
"Do you really think there are robots?"
