Chapter 120 Koleson Grand Battle (Part 2)

"The Great Swordsmen of Calon Castle have joined the battle!"

The Griffin Duke's face was as calm as water, continuously issuing one order after another, with one fresh troop after another filling the gaps in the formation. The Alliance Army was like a nail, firmly securing themselves on the plains of Koleson.

Until the green-skins, due to their excessive numbers, caused crowding. Many of the green-skinned lads were stuck in the pile of beastmen, unable to move. Seeing green-skinned figures all around them, their not-so-smart minds grew confused. These mindless fellows began to charge around wildly, causing chaos in the green-skin ranks.

"Now is the time!" Ivan raised the battle flag: "Knights! Maneuver and encircle the enemy!"

Holy Grail Knight Jules drew his longsword: "For the Lady! For Brittania!!! Knights, follow me!"

The Company Commander of the Sea God Knight Order also shouted angrily: "Manannan above! Tear apart our enemies!"

"Here we go!" Laine raised his warhammer, leading his warhorse, following the battalion of knights in a charge.

The knights bypassed the intense human battle lines, launching their most powerful assault onto the green-skins' flanks and rear.

The strongest Brittania Knights of the Old World raised their cavalry lances. Their hoofbeats sounded like rolling thunder, carrying the Brittania people's hatred and fury against evil. The warhorses neighed, a thousand horses galloping, iron hooves kicking up large swathes of mud and dust. The arrows unleashed by the green-skins were like dark clouds blotting out the sky, flying toward them. The cold, sharp arrowheads glinted with a chilling light, but the knights' hearts held no fear!

"For the lady!"

"For the lady!"

Laine also raised his warhammer, amplifying his voice to the fullest: "For the lady!!!"

Continuously, Ranger Knights fell from their horses, killed on the spot, but most of the knights were fortunate to dodge the locust-like arrows. They loudly praised the title of the Lake Fairy, forming a massive storm that swept towards the green-skinned army.

Laine and Jules led the charge at the forefront. The Genetic Primarch had already chosen a foe for himself—a robust green-skinned big guy. These big guys were more bloodthirsty and belligerent than ordinary green-skinned lads, more robust and more combative.

Closer, even closer, Laine could smell the stench of the green-skins and the rotten odor from their mouths.

"For the lady!!!" The Genetic Primarch was the first to enter the midst of the green-skins. Facing countless long spears aimed at him, Laine swept his warhammer horizontally, destroying dozens of long spears in an instant, sending many green-skinned lads flying into the air. Then his great hammer descended, and the green-skinned big guy had no time to react before being turned into a bloody rain.

Laine's performance greatly boosted the knights' morale. The Ranger Knights leveled their cavalry lances, forming a wedge formation, following the breach forcibly opened by Laine and charging in. Armored warhorses tough and resolute, the forest-like cavalry lances bearing the impact of knights and horses crashed into the green-skinned army, the sounds of angry roars, screams, and growls echoing across the plains, shaking the earth.

The knights surged into the enemy ranks like a tide, harvesting the lives of the green-skins.

The sound of breaking lances, shattered bones, and clashing metal was unceasing. The Ranger Knights let their cavalry lances break against the green-skins' heads or chests, then either took new lances from the Knight's Squire or drew their Knight's Swords, continuing to harvest the lives of the green-skinned lads.

"For the lady!!!" The knights swept through the green-skin ranks like a hurricane of death. Their longswords and cavalry lances had long drunk deeply of these evil creatures' blood. The armored warhorses held their heads high, using their front hooves to crush green-skin heads, using their strong bodies to bump the green-skins aside. The powerful knights charged through the green-skin ranks, leaving only endless death and dismembered limbs.

Laine led the charge, every swing of his warhammer ending the life of a green-skin, sometimes even more. Pinecone seemed to sense his master's intent, continuously charging toward the densest areas of green-skins. The newly-promoted Holy Grail Knight brought destruction wherever he went. In several rounds of charges, dozens of green-skins fell at his hands, including many green-skinned big guys.

With one hammer blow, Laine knocked a green-skinned lad's head off his shoulders, then reached out with his left hand, crushing the skull of a goblin trying to sneak attack him. Under his immense brute strength, the goblin's head exploded directly. The warhammer spun continuously, killing three green-skinned lads charging at him with long spears in an instant. Then Laine kicked a green-skinned big guy wielding a large machete in the face, his warhammer descending to crush the big guy's head into its chest.

The small fry in front of him fell one after another, Laine spurred his warhorse again. Pinecone reared its front hooves and let out a loud neigh. The Genetic Primarch stood atop countless green-skin corpses, shouting in a voice that rang out over the battlefield noise: "For the lady!"

"For the lady!!!" The Ranger Knights' morale soared. Laine and Jules led the Brittania knights in breaking one battle formation after another, cutting down one green-skin after another under their steeds.

Until they suddenly found themselves facing the Sea God Knights clad in sea-blue cloaks and robes. They discovered they were already standing in place, surrounded by the corpses of green-skins and fleeing figures.

On the battlefield, only the alliance army soldiers' victory cries remained. The Ranger Knights all loudly proclaimed their names and praised the Lake Fairy's name.

"Your Grace the Duke, we've driven back the green-skins!" said an excited Imperial Captain amidst the central army to Ivan.

"Not so simple." The Griffin Duke was still frowning.

"Continue, let us eliminate the enemy!" On the battlefield, Holy Grail Knight Jules was just about to rally the knights for a fatal strike against the green-skins when his warhorse suddenly made a series of uneasy noises. Waves of vibrations came from the ground, Jules looked up into the distance, and his initial smile froze on his face.

Deafening clamor came from the northwest, a new force appeared far off the Brittania lines. One after another, green-skinned big guys mounted on war boars surged from the forest, gradually forming a cavalry unit of astonishing numbers. They tore apart the fleeing Goblin Wolf Riders and green-skinned lads in front of them, their sturdy forms atop boars several feet long with huge tusks, rampaging fiercely across the plain. Brittania's Rangers had no power to resist them; it was a massacre.

The leading boar rider was the biggest the knights had ever seen. Clearly, it was a green-skinned warlord.

To the northeast, a giant over ten meters tall moved with big strides, attacking the Marinburg mercenary formations. This dull-witted giant, with a simple swing of its huge club, could send mercenaries flying in droves. Countless mercenaries screamed as they were sent soaring into the sky.

And at the front, the sound of war drums rumbled, with muscular green-skins that the young Ranger Knights had never seen appearing. They beat the war drums, and the previously scattered green-skin army regrouped under the drumbeats.

A massive shadow crossed the sky, as the green-skinned warlord Ugluk made his entrance on his two-legged flying dragon. With a single swoop, the dragon destroyed an entire line of the Imperial Army, one Imperial Captain was bitten in two.

Then the two-legged flying dragon soared into the sky with the green-skinned warlord Ugluk standing on it, shouting angrily.

"Waaaaaaagh!!"

"Waaaaaaaagh!!!"

The green-skins' morale recovered, and under Ugluk's incitement, they howled and regrouped.

At the same time, more green tides surged from the horizon—they were stronger, more barbaric beastmen.

"Knights, reform ranks! Engage those boar riders!" Jules decisively commanded the knights to reform ranks, the knights regrouped and charged toward the boar riders: "For the Lady! For Brittania!"

"Waaaaaaaagh!" The green-skinned big guys on the boar riders swung large machetes and heavy axes, and a fierce clash with the knights ensued. In one second, a young Ranger Knight pierced a green-skin's chest with a cavalry lance, the next, he was cut in half by a large machete.

The sound of blades slicing through metal, the neighing of warhorses, and the roars of boars were endless.

In one engagement, dozens of Ranger Knights and hundreds of Knight's Squires were knocked off their horses and slaughtered, and the green-skins left over fifty bodies behind.

Laine's face was also spattered with blood as he turned his horse, preparing to fight on.

At this moment, a loud cry came from the central army: "Huuuuahhhh!"

The Griffin Duke personally joined the battle.
