Seven Beautiful Goddesses Want Me, But I Just Want My Revenge

Chapter 225: Sharing?...

Before Adrian could respond, a second figure appeared in the doorway—Abyss, her violet eyes narrowing as she took in the scene. "What's going on here?" she demanded in a sharp voice.

Adrian sighed deeply, sinking further into the warm water of the tub while keeping a wary eye on Lilith and Abyss. Their clashing energies filled the room like a brewing storm, and he could already tell this was going to escalate.

Lilith's smirk widened, and she crossed her arms, leaning against the doorframe with a casual air. "Just a little chat," she replied in a deliberately light and teasing tone.

"Chat my ass," Abyss snapped, stepping fully into the room and slamming the door shut behind her. Her violet eyes glowed with a sharp intensity as she turned toward Adrian. "Adrian doesn't need your games, Lilith."

Lilith tilted her head, her lips curling into a dangerous smile. "And you're here to do… what exactly? Rescue him from little ol' me? Please."

Abyss's fists clenched, and her voice dropped into a low growl. "Unlike you, I don't need to rely on manipulation and seduction to get what I want."

"Oh, sweet Abyss," Lilith cooed mockingly. "Your jealousy is showing. How unbecoming."

Adrian closed his eyes briefly, pinching the bridge of his nose as their voices rose. The last thing he needed was for this to spiral into a full-blown argument.

"I'm not jealous," Abyss hissed, stepping closer to Lilith. "I just don't like seeing him used as a pawn in your little games."

Lilith let out a soft laugh, pushing off the doorframe. She strolled toward Abyss, her crimson eyes glinting with amusement. "Used? Darling, I don't need to use Adrian for anything. If anything, he seems to enjoy my company. Isn't that right, Adrian?" she purred, glancing over her shoulder at him.

Adrian raised an eyebrow but didn't respond, watching the exchange unfold with a mixture of exhaustion and faint amusement.

Abyss's hand shot out, grabbing Lilith by the arm. "Don't bring him into this. This is between you and me."

Lilith's smile didn't waver as she looked down at Abyss's hand, her voice turning icy. "Oh, you want to settle this now, do you?"

"Enough," Adrian said, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade. Both women turned to him, their expressions a mix of defiance and surprise.

He leaned forward, resting his arms on the edge of the tub. "I've got a quick question for both of you," he said calmly. "Doesn't the word sharing ever occur to you?"

Lilith and Abyss froze, their gazes snapping to him.

For a moment, the room was completely silent, save for the faint sound of water rippling as Adrian shifted his position.

Then, in unison, they both responded sharply: "Never!"

Adrian couldn't suppress the faint smirk tugging at his lips. "Thought so," he muttered.

Lilith was the first to break the silence that followed. She tossed her hair over her shoulder, her smirk returning. "I don't mind, though," she said with a playful shrug. "Sharing isn't off the table for me. After all, I thrive on lust and desire. But her?" She gestured toward Abyss with a knowing look. "She'd never agree to it."

Abyss's eyes narrowed dangerously. "You don't speak for me."

"Oh, don't I?" Lilith shot back, stepping closer to Abyss. "I've known you long enough to know that you can't stand the idea of sharing what you think is yours. Admit it, Abyss—you're territorial."

Adrian watched the exchange with growing impatience. Finally, he stood, grabbing a towel to wrap around his waist. Both women turned to him, their arguments momentarily forgotten as he walked toward them, his expression unreadable.

"You have two choices," Adrian said, his voice steady and firm. "Either you both agree to share me—peacefully—or you leave this room, go work out your differences, and stop dragging me into your petty rivalry."

The weight of his words hung in the air as Lilith and Abyss exchanged incredulous glances. For a moment, neither of them spoke, the tension between them crackling like a live wire.

Lilith finally broke the silence with a soft laugh, though it lacked its usual mirth. "Well, that's… certainly a bold suggestion," she said, tilting her head toward Adrian. "What do you think, Abyss? Ready to set aside your pride?"

Abyss's jaw tightened, and her gaze flicked to Adrian. "This isn't over," she said through gritted teeth before turning on her heel and storming out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

Lilith watched her go, her smile returning. "Looks like I win this round," she said lightly, giving Adrian a wink.

Adrian sighed, running a hand through his damp hair. "This isn't a game, Lilith."

"Everything's a game, darling," she replied, her voice sweet as honey. "You just have to know how to play it."

Before Adrian could respond, she sauntered out of the room, leaving him alone in the now-quiet space. He stood there for a moment, staring at the closed door, before letting out a heavy sigh.

"I need a drink," he muttered to himself.

Adrian leaned against the edge of the tub, towel wrapped firmly around his waist, his hand rubbing the back of his neck.

The muffled sounds of bickering filtered through the door, and he sighed again, muttering, "Can't they leave me in peace for one night?" he asked himself, as that was one of the reasons he had requests separate rooms.

Meanwhile, just outside the door, Lilith and Abyss stood in the hallway, their voices a heated murmur.

"This is your fault," Abyss hissed, crossing her arms. Her violet eyes glinted sharply in the low light of the hallway. "Barging in like that, making a scene."

Lilith scoffed, flicking her hair over her shoulder. "My fault? Please. If you hadn't stormed in like an enraged bull, we wouldn't be having this argument." Her crimson eyes sparkled with amusement, though the tension in her posture betrayed her frustration.

"I stormed in because you were trying to seduce him," Abyss snapped. "You have no sense of boundaries, Lilith. He doesn't belong to you."
