Kel agreed to make a biome, or a few of them, in Sophia's domain and wanted to start with an ocean to satisfy the needs and wants of an aquatic dragon. Naturally, the tiger was quite pleased that he seemed to like her domain and decided to try such a big project right from the beginning.
"Fennyfenny!" She returned to the cottage and immediately went to the living room to greet the wolf.
"How can I be of use?" He lazily lifted his head from the fluffy rug right in front of the fireplace.
"I've made a new friend!" The tiger showed him a beaming smile.
"Good for you?" He tilted his head. "I know this was a big deal for you when we first met, but after continuously befriending literally every person you ran into for the past year, you should've gotten used to that, no?"
"But this friend is special!" She raised her voice.
"I can't wait to tell your other friends that they aren't special later." It seemed like Fen was a little grumpy after having been woken up from his nap.
"I've met the source of the massive magic power inside the oasis lake from the desert!"
"Ohh!" His mood changed. "I knew that it was a living being in there that had so much magic and not some naturally occurring high concentration of it. Aura thought so, too, but we couldn't figure out what being it would exactly be. Aura was especially confused because whatever it was, it had too much magic, as she was supposed to have reached the limit, according to Mira."
"It's a dragon that cheated Mira's system."
"Hah." Fen wasn't sure how to react to any of that. "That is quite something. For various reasons, that is. Wait, how do you cheat the magic system?!"
"Kel's an interesting one!" Sophia could only nod.
"Kel?"
"That's the name of the dragon!" She smiled at him. "Do you want to meet him? I actually invited him to my domain because he loves magic, and I want to see what he could pull off in here!"
"That certainly sounds interesting!" The wolf got curious.
"You might want to return to your original form, though. Kel's on the taller side, so the difference between you two isn't as big."
"Okay, sure."
"Let's go!" The blonde energetically clapped her hands.

"How was me turning bigger supposed to make any difference here?!" Arriving in the area where the dragon was, Fen immediately had to make a retort while looking at the tiger. The place had already significantly changed during the 30 minutes Sophia was away to get the wolf, and there was water for kilometers in each direction from the small island the two were on. Not too far away from them, the massive dragon in question was swimming around, while it seemed like torrents of water were gushing from every inch of his body.
"I'm feeling extra playful today~." Sophia gave him a cheeky reply. "Oi!" She then raised her arm and waved in Kel's direction.
"Oh?" Noticing her, the dragon moved over to the little island the duo was on. "Back already?"
"Yeah, I just went to get a friend." She smiled at him before pointing at the wolf next to her. "This is Fen!"
"I see." Kel moved his head a little closer to Fen and stared at him for a while. "You're also on the stronger side, and I seem to feel traces of higher magic, but you are not the same kind of monster this tiger here is, right?"
"Hey!" The monster didn't like that.
"Fen, was it, right?" Kel focused on him instead. "How would you call someone her size being able to literally play with someone my size and send me flying for kilometers with but a single punch?"
"We call her Sophia." The wolf let out a small chuckle. "And no, I am, unfortunately, not the same kind of monster she is."
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"HEY!" She was already starting to regret having had those two meet each other.
"You're quite the flashy one, huh?" Fen took a better look at the dragon. "In regard to the sparkle and shine. I assume that comes from the magic storage ore thing Sophia told me about?"
"Pretty much." He reacted with a slight nod. "The shimmer actually corresponds to the amount of magic stored inside of them or me."
"So, the more impressive you look, the more dangerous you are?" The wolf tilted his head.
"Not wrong." He agreed with him. "Though, even if the ore ran dry and I barely have any magic at my disposal, I'm not any less dangerous to most on this planet."
"Is that so?" Sophia's expression turned into a smirk.
"…" Kel just narrowed his eyes while glancing at her.
"It's quite interesting that your magic levels change your look, though." The blonde completely ignored his stare. "Speaking of interesting, how were you able to create this much water in so little time?" She gestured all around them while saying so.
"I'm even more interested in how water seemed to be pouring out from literally everywhere on your body just moments ago." Fen wanted to know more about the way he uses magic.
"I am an aquatic dragon, after all." Kel's voice turned slightly boastful. "This much is nothing for the likes of me!"
"Oh, I see!" The wolf seemed impressed.
"Does that mean all dragons have specialties like that that correspond to their type?"
"Roughly speaking, yes." He lightly moved his massive head up and down. "Naturally, this heavily depends on the power of said dragon and how much it manifests in them, but we generally are more apt in our natural element."
"That's so cool!" Sophia liked this new information a whole lot. "You're the first dragon I've met, but it sounds like there are a whole bunch of different types, huh? Like earth dragons and fire dragons, right?"
"That is the case," Kel confirmed that, too. "It's not just the common main elements, either. I knew a few that specialized in lightning, ash, or even magma. Though, as an aquatic dragon myself, I didn't exactly get along too well with some of those examples."
"Dragons are sooo cool!" The tiger's eyes were sparkling. "I want to meet all of them and invite them to my domain! It sounds like such a way to get themed biomes in here!"
"Well, the easiest way to get a dragon's attention and curiosity is magic and power. Both of which you are slightly above average."
"Don't worry, I'll get stronger in no time!" Sophia smirked at him. "My magic authority has already more than doubled in the last few months, so I'll be able to take on stronger dragons in no time, either!"
"That's not what I… Wait… Eh…?" There were so many things in that single sentence that Kel wanted to comment on and ask questions that he lost his concentration.
"Do not try to make sense of her." Fen slowly shook his head while looking at the newcomer. "It won't do you and your mental health any good."
"I've noticed that already, yes."
"Why are a big wolf and a massive dragon the biggest babies around?" Sophia slowly shook her head while alternating her gaze between them.
"Oi." The two did not appreciate this.
"I'm not the one being scared of someone a fraction of their size, you know?"
"…" Fen briefly froze. "You know, for a second, I thought about making myself tiny, but that would be admitting defeat. Also, I think I wouldn't fare well around you when being small." Fen glared at the fluff-loving girl.
"That would be the best thing ever!" The blonde got excited again.
"You can change your size?" Kel got interested in that part.
"Yes." The wolf nodded in return. "It can be quite useful when navigating through narrow passages and the like."
"Like sleeping on a rug in front of a fireplace."
"You are way too sassy today." Fen didn't appreciate the tiger's attitude.
"I'm having a good day!" She only smiled at him.
"How do you do that?" The dragon ignored their bickering and kept focusing on the wolf.
"It's a combination of a few magic tricks to alter my body in a way that doesn't actually change it in a lasting way."
"Ohh!" Kel seemed to like that. "I've gone all in with elemental-type magic that I neglected my uncategorized skills a little. Would you mind teaching me how that works? It indeed sounds rather useful in certain situations."
"In theory, I don't mind at all." Fen reacted with a slight nod. "It can go wrong in certain ways, though." He briefly glanced at the tiger while saying so. "Let's get to know each other better first so I know how you take up on things."
"That sounds very reasonable, I don't mind at all." Kel was fine with his suggestion. "How about we do just that, then? Getting to know each other, that is."
"I wouldn't be against that." The wolf nodded. "And the best way to do that would be a nice fight!"
"Absolutely!" The dragon's voice became powerful again. "I'm starting to like you already."
"Likewise." Fen thought so, too. "I heard you lost against Sophia, but she's a massive cheater, so that doesn't count."
"Thank you very much!"
"It sooo counts." The cheater disagreed with his assessment.
"It appears that we can't go all out here, though." Ignoring her once more, Kel kept focusing on the wolf. "From what I've understood, this domain will stop us from getting too destructive."
"It will stop you from killing each other!" The blonde got loud. "I'll be the one who ends you if you seriously try it!"
"I actually haven't been able to test Sophia's rules in here yet." Fen seemed to be up for the challenge. "I have no interest in a fight to the death, either, but I'm always up for a little limit testing."
"That's exactly what I wanted to hear."
"Let's go!" Even the wolf was already infected by Steph's catchphrase.
"Well, I wanted my domain to get more rowdy, so I guess I did that to myself." Letting out a sigh while resigning to her fate, the blonde simply got ready to watch the two muscle heads duke it out.
