While all that intense 2v3 action was taking place in the jungle, Lars focused on farming Bot.

"Soz I couldn't help ya out, my dudes," Lars apologized. "It looked like ya had it in the bag at first, so I just focused on the lane aaaaaand welp."

"It's fine, man," Luke said. "That fight could've gone either way, so it was probably best to keep pushing Bot."

"I concur," Vincent agreed. "You've already erased more than 15% of the tower's HP. It's a magnificent start! In fact, I suspect the early kill they scored is not even on par with this achievement."

"Oh, Yuel sometimes says that kinda stuff, too." Lars recalled. "Something about how early kills don't give much gold and respawn timers are fast, so it's not always as worth."

"Indeed." Vincent nodded. "The First Blood bonus does make the reward a bit more attractive, but it's not as precious as shaving off a fine percentage of the tower's health."

Yeah... Luke shifted his eyes. Scoring an early kill on somebody isn't a big deal... unless they're a DK! Then it's devastating! Gaaaah!

It was so damn frustrating that an early death threw Dark Knight completely off the rails. It was practically impossible to recover from this!

But, shit like this is gonna keep happening. Luke reasoned. I've gotta figure out what's the best I can do in situations like these.

Yuel actually gave him some suggestions on this topic before, but those were lame suggestions. I mean, c'mon. I'm a DK, I can't suddenly start building defense. That goes against the entire point of the class!

In the first place, DK was a terrible tank. Its entire kit was focused on offense without any CC or supporting capabilities.

Well, maybe that's not entirely true. Luke admitted. Nightmare reflects damage, so a chonky DK can just stand there and watch the enemies kill themselves. And, I guess the ult is also nice because it's effective even without building power.

So, there were some options there. DK couldn't support the team in the typical ways expected from a tank, but it could at least help in the DPS department while still being tanky enough to soak some damage.

I guess that's the kinda tank Yuel envisioned, right? Basically, stack tons of HP and prayge for execution opportunities. But, that sounds lame compared to what DK is actually capable of...

Nonetheless, perhaps that's the best a DK could do when lagging behind. Thinking of it, I haven't looked much into this topic because I assumed that lagging behind equals GG. But, it ain't have to be this way.

Falling behind didn't have to be the end for DK. Sure, it put DK's explosive offense on hold, but it didn't mean DK had to become completely useless afterward.

There are lots of items I can try building, maybe some niche Utility Skills I can go for, etc. Maybe there are even some spicy defensive builds for DK out there! Except, I don't know any at the moment. Whoopsie.

His lack of research was gonna bite him in the ass here. It had already smacked him hard against the Leopards, and now it was gonna happen again! Dang it, he had to solve this shit once and for all!

Okay, screw it. I'mma learn how to play a defensive Jungler DK! It's gonna be the ultimate meme, word! This mixutre was getting a little absurd even by Luke's standards but that's what's fun about memes! It's all about challenging conventions and aiming for the wildest stuff!

But that's all in the future. Right now, in this game, Luke had no idea what was the best course of action. So, he went with the basic approach of building up HP. Hopefully, that'll be enough to carry him for a while.

Hmm. Maybe I should pick up some aura items, too. Luke wondered. Like, I know aura items aren't exactly high tier right now, but DK has zero supporting capabilities. Hmm. A tough decision.

Basically, Luke had no idea what he was doing. And, Vincent also admitted he couldn't extract the necessary knowledge from the Akashic Records.

In short, nobody knew shit about fuck! Stratus was cooked...
