A huge uproar had going on outside the city gates while Ye Mo was helping the Leng siblings with their cultivation.

Rhinos had suddenly appeared outside each of the four city gates. Led by the Barbarians’ warriors, they charged straight into the city. Even the guards couldn’t do anything but let them pass. They sent someone to inform the city lord.

The warriors headed straight towards the Xiao mansion. People originally thought they were there for the wedding, but the groups of Barbarians weren’t as friendly or happy as the people thought they would be.

“What’s going on? Why are the Barbarians bringing such a huge army to the Xiao mansion?”

“Maybe they are here to force the marriage? Man Tai wanted to take Xiao Yue as his wife, right?”

“I heard that a few of the Barbarians’ elite warriors were murdered on their way here. That huge guy on the golden rhino is the chieftain of the Barbarians, Man Weiwu, and behind him is his Energy Shaping First Realm son, Man Qi. Oh, and the old man behind them is the Energy Shaping Sixth Realm general. Could it be that they suspect the Xiao clan to be responsible for the murder?”

“I’ve also heard that Man Tai was killed at the Spectral Valley and the assailant is Ye Mo. He was the one who won all the Mo clan’s treasures, and he gave half of them to the Xiao clan, and the other half to the Leng clan. I suppose we can assume that he belongs to both of those clans now.”

“If you are right, even the Xiao and Leng clan couldn’t save him now.”

“That’s what he gets for opposing the Barbarians. Man Weiwu is an Energy Shaping Ninth Realm warrior. Even Qin Hao is no match for him.”

The floors cracked as more than 20 rhinos and a massive number of warriors stomped in rhythm towards the Xiao mansion.

Each of the warriors held broadswords or huge maces which could shatter the ground by just dropping them.

The golden rhino that Man Weiwu rode was an actual beast. It was rare to see a beast of its caliber being tamed as a mount.

When they finally reached the Xiao mansion, the guards quickly ran inside.

Man Weiwu jumped down from his rhino, and the ground shook. He was bigger than the Energy Clone that he’d sent out. The impact from his landing had even sent the dust around him flying away.

“Father, now that we’re here, the Xiao Clan will definitely hand over Ye Mo. We’ll take the treasure from him and hang his head on our altar to avenge my brother’s death!” Man Qi growled.

Man Qi and the general also jumped down from their rhinos. Both of them were also Energy Shaping Realm warriors who held enormous powers.

“Let’s go in first,” Man Weiwu said as he waved his hands. He broke two of the lion statues in front of Xiao mansion’s gate into pieces as a warning to the Xiao Clan.

Suddenly, a voice came from behind them and said, “Man Weiwu! Don’t you think you should at least face me first?” Qin Hao landed in front of them, and he retracted his energy wings. The next second, the energy in him began to boil and expand, a demonstration of his city lord authority.

“I hope you will stay out of this, Qin Hao. Ye Mo has killed my son, and I want his life in return!” Man Weiwu said.

“So, it was Ye Mo who was responsible for your son’s death. If that’s your reason, then I won’t stop you. But I hope that you won’t cause my city much trouble,” Qin Hao said. He was still the city lord and must keep up his act, but he was secretly glad that the Barbarians were going to take care of the Xiao Clan.

“As long as they hand us Ye Mo, we won’t cause you any trouble. If they don’t cooperate, then I’ll have to do it my way,” Man Weiwu said.

Qin Hao nodded and didn’t say anything further.

One of the servants quickly rushed into the Xiao mansion’s garden and said, “Ye Mo, the Barbarians are here! They are saying that you’ve killed Man Tai and they want revenge! Since our clan master is still training, Madame is already heading over there, but things aren’t looking good!”

“What? The Barbarians are already here?” Ye Mo frowned and turned to the Leng siblings. “Leng Leng, Leng Feng, hurry up and leave through the back gate, and don’t come back!”

Ye Mo finished his sentence and rushed to the training ground. Ye Mo’s face was more serious than ever.

“Brother, looks like Ye Mo is in danger. We have to help him!” Leng Leng said.

“I’ll go ask father for help. Even if our clan is weak, we should be able to help him a little,” Leng Feng agreed.

When Ye Mo arrived at the training ground, two different groups of people were staring at each other. Madame Xiao stood in front of the Xiao Clan’s people while Man Weiwu led the Barbarian warriors. Each of the Barbarian warriors were huge and muscular, with Man Weiwu leading them. The Xiao clan had no hope of winning the fight.

“Where’s Xiao Yuanshan?” Man Weiwu asked.

“He’s training. What do you want?” Madam Xiao said.

“Training? Is he trying to break into the True Energy Realm?” Man Weiwu laughed. “He should know that older people like us have no hope of doing so without the help of True Energy Pills.”

“So what?” Ye Mo suddenly shouted. He landed in front of Madame Xiao as he was pierced by stares from the Barbarians. If stares could kill people, Ye Mo would’ve died over a hundred times.

Man Weiwu almost went berserk as soon as he saw Ye Mo since Ye Mo straight away absorbed his clone without giving any care to his warning.

“Ye Mo!” Man Weiwu roared, and all of his energy exploded. Energy Shaping Ninth Realm warriors could spread energies infused with their own force. It was almost as powerful as a will attack. All of the weaker Xiao Clan’s disciples were sent flying away while Ye Mo stood still, not budging from the attack.

Even if Man Weiwu’s force was strong, he was still considered as a small fry in front of the mighty dragon.
