Adam has the biggest, most satisfied smile on his face as he hears the words 'Fuck You' come out of Julia's mouth.

He could put Julia in her place right here and now, and he would love every second of it, but he knows now is not the time.

Adam begins eating the food and likes it. Usually, dinner was ordered from outside as Julia didn't bother to cook, and since Jack spent most of his nights in the office, there was no need for it.

"You know what, Xu Lin, why don't you move in. We have a few guest rooms, you can use one," Adam says.

"What? I would love to have someone cook food for me for the evening, I hate ordering dinner just because someone's too lazy to make it," Adam says, throwing a jab at Julia.

Jack hears Adam's words and then looks at Xu Lin. "Do you want to live here?" Jack asks.

Xu Lin is caught off guard hearing Jack's words. She then looks at Adam, who smiles and nods his head.

"Fine, you can move in, but you need to take care of all the household chores from now on," Jack says.

"I accept, sir," Xu Lin says.

Julia frowns, seeing how the father-son duo didn't even bother asking her about it, but she didn't question it.
