My Accidental Harem

chapter 212

"Alright, keep trying then." Kevin said, giving up on convincing him. He picked up the basketball, ran to the hoop, and dunked it forcefully, making the hoop shake. The ball bounced off and rolled onto the road below.

"Hey, can you grab that ball for me?" Kevin shouted to a girl in a school uniform walking by.

She picked up the ball and tossed it back with a smile. "Nice dunk. Which class are you in? What's your name?"

Kevin was momentarily stunned, noticing how pretty she was. She had short hair, long eyes, and was taller than Zoey Jackson, with a mature air about her. "I'm Kevin from Class 57. And you?"

"Oh, you're in high school. No wonder I don't know you." She smiled. "I'm Fiona Harris. I have to go now. Bye." She waved and walked away.

Kevin watched her graceful figure, intrigued. Unlike most girls, Fiona was confident and poised, with a hint of Mia Wilson's aura.

"Isn't that Fiona Harris?" Mike said, appearing beside Kevin. "You sure have a knack for meeting beauties."

"You know Fiona Harris?" Kevin asked, surprised by Mike's knowledge of every girl at school.

"Of course. Fiona is the school's goddess. She's smart, and her father is the deputy county head." Mike said enviously. "She's the real deal—beauty, brains, and background. I heard Ivan Simmons is chasing her. If you get her, you'll really piss him off."

"Forget it. I'm not interested," Kevin said, knowing his limits. Girls like Fiona were out of reach for most boys. Her family's status meant her relationships had to be well-matched. Harold Brooks might have a chance, but Kevin knew he'd be laughed at for trying. Besides, he already had Mia Wilson, and no one else could easily replace her.

Mike was just teasing. They returned to the court and continued playing. Meeting Fiona was just a brief distraction. After another half hour, they were sweaty and tired, and the sky was darkening. They left the school grounds.

"Remember to come to my house for lunch tomorrow." Mike reminded Kevin nervously. "My mom's been nagging me. If you don't come, I'll be in trouble."

"Alright, alright, I got it." Kevin nodded quickly, feeling a bit irritated. He was deeply conflicted, increasingly infatuated with the alluring Evelyn Allen, yet feeling guilty towards his friend and pressured by Mia Wilson. If Mia ever found out he was still secretly involved with Evelyn, she might give up on him entirely. He felt like he was walking a tightrope, one misstep away from a disastrous fall.

A Chance Encounter and a Revelation

After bidding farewell to Mike Adams, Kevin walked home, troubled. He realized he couldn't continue living in such confusion. Having promised Camila Cortez and Mia Wilson to focus on his studies, he needed to put all his energy into them. Unlike Zoey Jackson, he didn't have a natural talent for learning, nor did he have the privileged background of Mike Adams or Ivan Simmons. Hard work was his only option, and his relationship with Evelyn Allen had to end.

On a midsummer night, the streets were lively with people enjoying the cool evening air. Kevin saw a stall selling goldfish, surrounded by chattering kids, and couldn't resist joining them. He had always wanted a goldfish but couldn't justify spending two dollars. Even though he now had the thousand dollars from Evelyn Allen, he had hidden it under his mattress and hadn't touched it.

"Kevin, what are you doing here?"

Kevin, squatting by the fish tank, turned to see Mia Wilson standing behind him. He stood up awkwardly and said, "Mia Wilson, I was on my way home and just stopped to look."

"How old are you? Still interested in things like this?" Mia teased, clearly in a good mood. "I didn't expect a big boy like you to be into this."

Embarrassed by her teasing, Kevin scratched his head and said, "I was just looking. I didn't plan on buying."

"There's nothing wrong with that. I think it's a nice hobby." Mia smiled and asked the vendor, "How much for the goldfish?"

"Two dollars each, five dollars for three." the vendor replied, eyeing Mia with interest. She was stunning, with a great figure, perky breasts, and long, white legs. He couldn't help but think how much he'd like to touch her. "If you buy, I'll throw in an extra one for free."

"Thank you," Mia smiled, handing over five dollars. The vendor, accidentally brushing Mia's smooth, soft fingers while taking the money, felt a shiver run through his body. He quickly bagged four goldfish and handed them to her. Watching Mia walk away with Kevin, her mature, voluptuous body swaying, he couldn't help but swallow hard, thinking she was an incredibly seductive woman.

Holding Mia's soft, warm hand, Kevin was filled with joy. After a while, he realized they weren't heading towards her home and asked,

"Mia Wilson, isn't this the wrong way to your house?"

"Of course not. Didn't I say I'd visit your house one day?" Mia smiled, her eyes twinkling. "It's the weekend, and I want to meet your mother."

"You're really coming?" Kevin was surprised. He had thought she was joking and wasn't prepared at all. He hesitated, unsure if he should take her home.

"Of course, I always keep my promises. Why don't you want to invite your teacher over?"

Mia glanced at Kevin. She had deliberately kept her distance the past few days to see if he would focus on his studies, and he had. According to Camila, Kevin had been paying more attention in class. Mia was pleased, feeling she hadn't misjudged him.

"It's not that, but how should I introduce you to my mom?" Kevin asked, troubled.

"Just say I'm your class teacher." Mia said confidently, smiling.

"Alright then." Kevin said, leading Mia to his home.

A Family Connection Unveiled

His mother, Rachel Harris, was sewing a pair of pants. Seeing Kevin bring a beautiful woman home, she stood up, puzzled, and asked, "Kevin, who is this?"

"Mom, this is our class teacher, Mia Wilson," Kevin introduced, feeling nervous. His mom had met Camila Cortez at the start of the school term, and he wasn't sure if she would remember.

"Wait, isn't your class teacher named Cortez?" Rachel recalled meeting Camila and looked Mia over, thinking she was incredibly young and beautiful, like a movie star. Could she really be a teacher at Kevin's school?

"Yes. I'm Kevin's mother. I'm Mia Wilson." Mia smiled and extended her hand gracefully. "Mrs. Cortez had to go on a business trip, so the school asked me to temporarily take over. Kevin's grades have improved significantly, and I wanted to discuss with you how we can work together to keep him on track."

"Really? That's wonderful!" Rachel became enthusiastic, quickly inviting Mia to sit, offering tea and snacks, and sending Kevin to buy a watermelon. She sat beside Mia, asking about Kevin's school life.

Kevin worried Mia might slip up, saw her wink reassuringly, and reluctantly went to the watermelon stand. "Aunt Butler, I'd like to buy a watermelon."

"Coming." called a plump middle-aged woman from the nearby convenience store. She wore a tank top and shorts, with flip-flops on her feet, her white legs exposed. This was Daphne Butler, Kevin's neighbor who ran the store and sold fruit on the side.

"Aunt Butler, please pick a crispy one." Kevin said cheerfully, noticing the floral scent of mosquito repellent on her. Her arms and legs had several red bites, reminding him how mosquitoes favored fair skin. Camila often got bitten in the office, always keeping repellent and coils handy.

"Sure thing. I'll get you a nice, crispy one," Daphne said, picking up a watermelon and thumping it. Her large breasts jiggled under her tank top, sagging like bells. Daphne had two children and didn't care much about her appearance, often going braless in the summer for comfort, sometimes exposing herself unintentionally.

Kevin frowned slightly. Daphne was around his mother's and Camila's age, but unlike them, she didn't care about her image. He couldn't help but say, "Aunt Butler, you're dressed too lightly. Watch out for mosquitoes."

"It's fine. I sprayed some mosquito repellent. It's comfortable this way." Daphne Butler said, weighing a watermelon. "Alright, the watermelon is ready for you."

As she bent over to put the watermelon in a plastic bag, the neckline of her tank top dipped, giving Kevin a clear view of her large, white breasts, even seeing the dark purple nipples.

Kevin used to sneak into Daphne's house to watch her bathe, masturbating to the sight of her large breasts. But now, having seen more, he wasn't as excited by Daphne's breasts, even feeling a bit disdainful, thinking they weren't as big as Camila Cortez's or as firm as Mia Wilson's. He paid for the watermelon and headed home.

Entering the house, he saw his mother, Rachel Harris, and Mia Wilson looking excited. Curious, he asked, "Mom, what are you talking about?"

"Kevin, this is incredible." Rachel said, holding Mia's hand. "Did you know that Mia Wilson is actually your distant cousin?"

Kevin was stunned, nearly dropping the watermelon. He listened as Rachel explained that during their conversation, Rachel discovered that Mia's mother was her cousin who had married and moved away. By chance, Mia had ended up here.

"Kevin, you really should call me cousin from now on." Mia said, her eyes sparkling. She was surprised that Kevin's offhand remark about being cousins had turned out to be true. She had always felt lonely, but now she felt like she had found family. Rachel felt more like family than her in-laws ever did.
