But before he could even turn and complete the verbal invocation of his skill [Holy Smite], alter Adam delivered a ferocious, unexpected kick directly to his face. The impact destroyed the helmet of the holy armor and sent alter Drake hurtling backward across the plain like an uncontrolled missile.

Immediately following that devastating exchange, Drake and Katya arrived to where alter Adam was standing, taking advantage of their target position to try and surprise him. Drake was brandishing his two enormous jade greatswords, weapons that were themselves larger than his body, while at the same time, Katya wielded her living scythe, which was imbued with black fire thanks to her use of the [Elemental Fusion] card and the spectral aid of Kazue's cursed fire dragon, Dora.

Alter Adam retracted his mutated claw, his arm snapping back to its normal stitched human appearance. He maintained his fixed smile, casually evading all the combined attacks of both users with simple side-stepping movements as if the combined assault were utterly trivial. He then raised his free hand, utilizing the stolen [Incarnation of the Living Planet] skill for the second time, instantly generating a powerful orbit and gravitational field around his body. The field halted Drake and Katya dead in their tracks, causing them to float uncontrollably in place, spinning in the grip of the artificial orbit.

"That is pathetic for the counterparts of the 'hero boy' and one of my generals."

After dodging the blow without even looking, the boy whistled softly, finding a moment to comment on the technology that was briefly utilized.

"That is an armor with quite a bit of potential."

Alter Adam conceded with a slight smile.

"It is a shame you are wasting it."

He dodged a few more retaliatory strikes from Li, all while maintaining the gravitational control that held Drake and Katya floating in a fast, uncontrolled orbit. He raised his other arm, preparing to use yet another skill, but before he could complete the action, Nikolai's voice screamed from the distance.

"Burn!"

The word manifested as a visible script on alter Adam's chest, and his body instantly erupted into bright blue flames. This was the sudden effect of Nikolai's Personal Skill, [My Lies Are my Reality Lv4], a power capable of manifesting the literal effects of his spoken statements into reality. She grabbed both Drake and Katya, who were still floating uncontrollably, and launched them forward with immense power, forcing them to attack again. Alter Adam was faster still. A focused flow of localized gravity, chillingly similar to the one he had used against Teo, sent Nikolai flying toward him faster than the approaching attackers. He then moved quickly and ruthlessly, using Nikolai as a human shield.

Amidst screams of horror, Drake and Katya could not prevent their powerful sweeping cuts from impacting directly against Nikolai, wounding him severely. Alter Adam used this critical moment of distraction to exploit the now-unconscious body of Li, who was still clutched in his other hand. He launched the man toward Drake and Katya, but unlike Nikolai's body, Li's armor was now radiating a potent dark aura.

Li, even with his eyes rolled back and completely white demonstrating his state of unconsciousness, roared—the sound mechanized by his armor. His arms grew enormous, and he delivered two ferocious punches toward his allies, boosted by his nuclear thrusters. The blow was so brutal that her white mask finally cracked completely, shattering and falling away to reveal the girl's face, who also appeared to have lost consciousness from the devastating attack.

Both her arms were transformed into her signature red dragon forms, as she intended to attack him with the ferocity of her race. However, alter Adam merely laughed outright upon seeing her, receiving the impact with his own bare sutured hands—their forces meeting palm-to-claw and creating a localized shockwave so powerful that Nikolai's body, which was already floating nearby, was sent spiraling away now that the gravity had dissipated.

No matter how much force Solène poured into her claws, she could not move alter Adam an inch. The man simply laughed, treating the powerful exchange as if it were a silly joke. Even Adam heard the urgency in the command, and he retreated with all the strength his legs could muster, being followed closely by Charles, who showed no concern or worry. Alter Drake was also pulled away by Arion, who had rushed to his aid the moment he saw an opening.

Alter Adam raised a questioning eyebrow, contemplating the unexpected withdrawal, and not understanding what they were up to, escaping was impossible after all.

Suddenly, a great surge of magical power was felt across the plain. He looked into the distance and saw that the power was emanating from Samantha and alter Li; the girl was touching Li's open spellbook, clearly executing a joint skill, or one that required the collaboration of both to function.

Once she confirmed no one remained in the immediate vicinity, Samantha shouted with all her strength, her voice boosted by the Plot Device.

"Meteor Garlic!"

She screamed, channeling the immense energy.

It was an extremely powerful spell, one they had once used under special circumstances to wipe out an entire rival team, but the energy cost and resulting destruction were too immense. Yet what other options did they possess against this monster?

As the meteor hurtled toward him, alter Adam laughed wildly again, raising a sutured hand to cover his face because he was unable to contain his amusement.

"How stupid can all of you possibly be!?"

Alter Adam asked, his voice almost choking on his laughter.

"Seriously, I suspected that you do not think at all!"

As he said this, Adam's eyes widened, finally understanding the fatal flaw in their desperate plan.

"We need to move, now!"

He screamed desperately at everyone to cover themselves, but it was too late.

Before the eyes of everyone, alter Adam activated his skill [Incarnation of the Living Planet] one more time, and with a casual almost dismissive flick of his hand, the gravity and orbit exerted by his body instantly trapped the enormous meteor. The celestial body turned, now hurtling back in the direction of the group of users and their wounded.

The desperation and stupefaction on the faces of Samantha and alter Li were palpable; they knew they could do nothing to prevent the catastrophe because it was already too late to run, it was all over… But one person did not surrender.

A robotic voice suddenly screamed a sudden announcement.

"Demonic King: Death Chimera!"

Emir's transformation was instantaneous.

It was Emir's [Dark Galactron Claw], which he had used for his first transformation, instantly becoming the gigantic Kaiju 'Death Chimera'. This time the transformation was executed with total control thanks to the Plot Device's boost.

Before the eyes of everyone, the enormous child-monster raised his heavily armored arms, clashing directly against the massive redirected meteor. A brutal shockwave erupted, violently throwing everyone present like ragdolls, but when the explosion finally dissipated, the monstrous Emir remained standing. He had managed to hold his ground despite the colossal impact, and although part of his horns were fractured and one of his armored arms was now missing and the other completely charred, he remained standing, heavily panting for air.

Alter Adam appeared instantly in front of the gigantic Emir, having made a simple leap to reach the height of the Kaiju's chest. Mid-air, he commented on the spectacle.

"That is impressive. You really resemble my own General."

The boy spoke with surprising enthusiasm.

"It is a shame that your connection with the monsters you use is clearly non-existent."

Following the assessment, his arm morphed again into a colossal, sharp insect-like claw, delivering a ferocious cut to Emir's armored body. The Kaiju roared in pain and collapsed backward; already weakened by the meteor's impact, the final blow was too much. His transformation began to dissolve as he fell.

Adam launched himself immediately to catch the falling child, and though Charles followed, he did not prevent him from safely catching the kid in mid-air and shielding him from further injury.

Those who still remained conscious slowly began to regain their footing. Alter Adam landed lightly beside them, sighing.

"Is that enough?"

He asked, sounding profoundly bored.

"This is starting to feel more like a waste of time than anything else, although it is good for the 'narrative'."

Alter Li could not take any more of the condescending mockery. He exploded, screaming at alter Adam to stop talking.

"Shut up with that 'narrative' nonsense!"

Alter Li's voice was filled with an uncontrolled rage.

"You are insane!"

However, he then declared his idea to solve the entire problem.

"But if there is really any truth to your words, then the solution is simple."

Alter Li turned his body toward Chloe, who was standing relatively close by with the unconscious Solène.

"If I kill her, everything ends, right?"

The man asked, his eyes holding a terrifying certainty.

Alter Adam finally lost his smile. That statement genuinely surprised him because he had not counted on anyone outside of Teo making a decision that, though correct, was so utterly cruel.

All the conscious members of 'No Name' reacted with horror to the cold threat, but literally every one of them had their hands occupied supporting the injured, meaning none could react in time to save Chloe.

However, before alter Li could launch his killing spell, a luminous blade, made entirely of pure light, shot through his chest, stopping him instantly and extinguishing the magical energy of his book as the man lost consciousness.

Alter Li slowly turned his head, seeing none other than alter Kazue standing behind him, with cold eyes. She had finally acted, despite having done nothing throughout the entire chaotic combat.

"Why…?"

The man asked, the single word his final utterance. The girl withdrew the sword of light from his body, and the man fell to the ground.

Everyone was frozen in absolute silence, unable to comprehend the nature of what had just happened.

Alter Adam, however, finally smiled again, relieved by the timely intervention.

"Atta girl."

He then looked at alter Kazue with approval.

"I was wondering when you were going to do something."
