"Guys? A little urgency!" Reynard shouted as Patience began to pick up the pace.
"Right, the moment Alvidor is able to make some space between the two, I'll construct a wall in front of him. When Pylet tries to maneuver around you create a barrier and we'll box her in." Bryson instructed, "It'll take some concentration for our barriers to meld together so be ready on my mark."
"Understood." Anna said nodding her head before asking, "So, what is with her? What kind of skill?"
"Sort of like a berserker mode." Bryson said. Berserker mode is a talent that allows some individuals to enter a frenzy by tapping into their core power. Pain thresholds increase, and so do strength and speed. Though at the risk of a smaller gas tank and the inability to think as clearly.
"A berserker mode? That's not how berserker modes work." Sable said frowning, "Though I suppose that's the closest thing I could think of." She mumbled out as Reynard at this point was fighting with panic.
"Guys, seriously help!"
"I said sort of like." Bryson said, "It's different, a bit like, uh. Well a genetic anomaly?"
"Huh. That's different." Sable said tilting her head while watching the two fight.
"Yeah, that's what an anomaly is."
"Shut up."
"… Should the barrier be round?" Anna asked.
"I really don't want things to escalate!" Reynard said, "But I really don't have much of a choice!" Reynard was currently in full defence mode trying not to get himself injured in what was meant to be a friendly sparring match.
"Fight me! Fight me! We're fighting!" Patience screamed.
"Well, make some space first!" Bryson shouted back.
"Can't you do it?"
"She's focused on you right now! That's better for this!"
"Ergh, okay." Reynard said with a grunt. Reynard said as he stopped running and turned to face Patience.
"Great! Yes, until one of us dies!" She cackled.
"Wow you're horrifying." Reynard mumbled as the two clashed blades and Bryson watched as the grass around him shook.
"You're not stronger than me!" Patience screamed as their blades crossed and they were stuck in a bind.
Reynard gave no reply and simply pushed forward towards Patience, whose malevolent smile only widened as she welcomed this test of strength. Bryson carefully watching this pushing match, could guess what Reynard was trying. Bryson then addressed Anna.

"Okay ready?"
"Yeah." Anna said as her eyes glowed brightly and her right hand began to tense up.
Bryson then looked over to a part of the ring where Reynard would be able to see over Patience's shoulders. Then without another word he 'Flash Stepped' over there. In a flash of cool blue particles Bryson vanished from Sable and Anna before appearing in the field of view of Reynard.
Bryson once making eye contact with Reynard, signaled for him to move. Reynard then in the middle of the shoving match, side-stepped and allowed Patience to push past Reynard. Her momentum nearly caused her to fly out of the ring and she struggled to catch herself. At the same time Reynard quickly jumped away.
When Patience whipped around she saw a blue glimmering wall in front of her. It then began to expand and surround her. Instinctively, she leapt backwards only to feel her back bump into something. Looking behind her, she saw that a silver wall was behind her and it too expanded until it connected with the blue barrier.
"Yaargghh!" Patience screamed out as she slammed into the combined barrier to no avail. Even worse, the barrier began to shrink around her, giving her less room to be able to move.
"So, what's the plan now?" Sable asked, watching, "She's still fighting." She said as Reynard made his way over to the group, breathing a sigh of relief.
"She should calm down soon." Bryson said.
"How long?"
"Uh… eventually." Bryson said.
"Can you two contain her?"
"All she has is a training sword and we're sharing the work so it should be fine." Bryson said, "What a weird ability."
"So what is with her? You said something about a berserker?" Reynard asked.
"Yeah, like a mutation." Bryson said as Patience began to slow down with her rapid angry striking.
"Are you alright Patience?" Anna called out. Patience turned her head to face her, no longer looking as wild as she did before. Dropping the training sword, she nodded her head as she sat down.
Anna looked over to Bryson for the next set of instructions and he gave her a nod, and the two freed her from the barrier. The group still kept a distance away from Patience for a moment, just to make sure that Patience was of sound mind again.
"Are you okay?" Anna called out to her.
"Yeah, yeah I think so." Patience said nodding, "I'm sorry your highness."
"It's fine." Reynard said, "Though, I wouldn't mind actually fighting you like that if you were in better control."
"I uh, hope that doesn't happen." Patience said scratching her head.
"So, did you figure out why I'm always like this?" Patience said.
"A bit." Bryson said nodding his head, "Have your parents never checked your abilities before?"
"No… they never thought it was needed."
"They don't think that was a problem?" Bryson asked referring to her wild state.
"Well, no… they just thought I would eventually control it."
"That's a lot of belief." Sable said, "With not a lot of positive results." She said as Patience looked ashamed.
"Great job." Bryson said shaking his head.
"Just telling the truth."
"How do we help her?" Anna asked.
"Well…" Bryson trailed off as he thought, "You should be able to control it, but to learn in a day?"
"I can teach her." Sable said.
"What?" Bryson asked.
"I can teach her."
"I said I can teach her." Sable said shrugging.
"Seriously? How?"
"I know how to tap into berserker rage, if it's a mutation of that ability, then I should be able to teach her."
"You rage berserker? Actually no, that makes a lot of sense." Bryson recalled she had done something vaguely similar against Kristel when they fought. Her energy changed, Bryson just never realized that it was a variation of berserker rage.
"Care to correct yourself?" Sable said glaring at him.
"Are you helping or not?" Bryson said exasperated.
"Who said I will?" Sable shouted. Bryson simply looked at her and then Sable felt the eyes of the other three looking at her.
"I'm the boss when teaching okay." Sable said crossing her arms and relenting.
"Can I take a break first?" Patience asked.
"No." Sable said, "We start now."
