In an instant, enormous bone claws unfurled behind Leng Wanbai, and a purple-red exoskeleton rapidly manifested across her body. Thunderstorm vortices blanketed the skies, absorbing any black energy or light energy upon contact. The purple-red lightning faintly carried a violent mix of light and dark energy.

Feeling the immensely powerful aura emanating from Leng Wanbai, the old man's expression turned grave.

"Perfect Spine-eating Gu—you're not the Void!"

Leng Wanbai nodded calmly, "Indeed, I'm not the Void. That guy died months ago. Today, it's your turn!"

The Void had been dead for a long time, and the true mastermind turned out to be a Perfect Spine-eating Gu.

That meant all the intel they'd gathered in recent days was completely wrong.

The Dark Giant… abducting Lei… Earth... Qin Shou...

It was obvious now—they had been stalling for time. They fell into the trap!

Leng Wanbai's expression remained unchanged. She raised her hand, and the bone claws behind her suddenly expanded, transforming into sky-covering claws that struck downward with ferocious force.

In an instant, the light energy dissipated, and dark energy-infused thunder filled the massive claws. The sky turned pitch-black, devoid of any light, as an overwhelming aura of hostility flooded the heavens and earth. The bone claws, now towering over several hundred meters, tore through the air and seized the massive Spine-eating Gu in their grasp.

For days, Leng Wanbai hadn't been idle. By leveraging the unique abilities of the Spine-eating Gu's body and daily immersion in the River of Light and Dark, she had successfully acquired superior light and dark attributes through the Perfect Spine-eating Gu form—attributes far beyond those of ordinary Spine-eating Gus.

Even though this Light Energy Spine-eating Gu was far stronger than average Nightmare Nine-star Monsters, it was still no match for Leng Wanbai, equipped as the Perfect Spine-eating Gu.

Suddenly, a heavenly sword chant rang out. The dark-golden whip transformed into a Light Sword, unleashing an endless stream of dazzling sword petals in Sika's hand.

"Clang clang clang..."

The flickering sword shadows vanished in a flash, scattering showers of sparks from the hardened armor of several massive Spine-eating Gus. The razor-sharp blades and immense force forced the Spine-eating Gus to retreat slightly.

Qin Shou had helped Sika absorb countless Dark Elves, vastly amplifying the dark energy within her body compared to before.

Even without the Giant Stone Statue, her strength was comparable to an ordinary Ninth Star powerhouse of the Unbreakable Realm.

However, the abrupt surge of power was difficult to fully control, limiting her combat ability somewhat.

On a high platform of the desolate island, Qin Shou and Lei stood side by side, gazing up at the fierce battle in the sky.

Lei turned her head toward Qin Shou, "Aren't you going to help? Those two might not be able to hold their ground against these monsters."
