It genuinely makes my day to see your comments and finally have someone that likes my story. I put a lot of work into this story and it was my first fully written story as well. Back then, I was in a really really dark place and writing helped me slightly keep my nose above water to give me some breathing room. The reason I did not continue back then beyond volume 2 was because I got heavily discouraged by test readers who said the story was too disgusting and brutal with no consistent theme. The original draft also had some more 'sexual' themes like Sammy getting a period and an angel called Nathanael that would try to tempt Sammy to convert to Christianity throughout the story. Both aspects have been removed in the final draft.

Some more fun facts: - I listened to the Pogo-"Boy and Bear" remix on YouTube throughout writing most of this book.

-Originally when I started writing it, it was supposed to be a gritty and dark vampire novel but I quickly thought that is a bit generic and I also don't like writing grimdark without rays of hope and joy so I made her a Baoban Sith first, which is like...A Fey vampire basically but I quickly changed that by chapter 3 or so to the winter/nightmare elemental you know and love today.

-The spell schools I made were chosen before I knew which ones Sammy was good or bad at. I also rolled for which schools she was proficient and disabled in. Originally, I was actually a bit pissed off that I got 'Spiritual' as a school she was talented in because that was the least thought out one, haha. But, in the end, the story would have been so much different without the white queen.

-The prophecy was actually an irl coin flip I did. Had it come up on the other side, Sammy would have killed Hildegard, ran away and run into the Feywild where she would have joined the poaching Elf from the Silent Leaf trial. He, together with Pavel, would have trained her to become a Warlord and together with Tanaka the dragon would have started a revolutionary war to kill King Denevir.

Now as for how to continue this story. I made a poll for you whether you'd like me to continue or focus on something else.

If the story is continued: The story would go on for about 2-3 more novels. Which translates to about 30-60 more chapters. I would upload these chapters once per week. 2 hours earlier than usual at 6 AM UTC+2. On Wednesdays. That way, the night owls in America should be able to read the chapters on Tuesday evening, the early risers in Europe can read the chapter before work and the Asians can read it when they come home from work.

General planned outline (subject to change): Volume 3: Covering Sammy's baby ages and early childhood Volume 4: Going to school and being a kid Volume 5: Teenage years, Demever confrontation, Ending

In terms of how the story would go, I would focus a lot less on Sammy and more on his sister and other family members in Volume 3 before going back to a mostly Sammy focused story around volume 4. An example of how the non Sammy parts would look, is the side story I uploaded today.

In case the story is not continued: I would upload my novel that is basically Harry Potter for Monsters instead of wizards next and would do another poll whether to continue or not.
