"Is it white hair like that boy's? I've seen them talking often. Could they be related?" asked one of the leaders of the northern castles, glancing sideways at his companions, especially the academic leaders.

Miroc opened his eyes wide.

"Ohh, so it's always been her."

"Who is she, Director Miroc?"

"Haha, she's not related to that boy. She's Professor Hardrial's other student. Her name is Laura. Our strongest star, Young Lord Mark, is very much in love with her because of her unique beauty. That white color you saw is because she is completely albino," he replied.

"Albinism? God, it's been many years since albinism has been seen in these lands."

"Haha, that's why she's so famous."

The Emperor frowned and looked at Miroc. "I'm sure Hardrial only teaches Armamentists," he reminded him once again.

Miroc smiled sheepishly. "She's an armamentist, Emperor."

"An armamentist? With such amazing magic and magical ability?" he asked, though he frowned and stopped paying attention to the rest.

'Could it be that this guy has been teaching these two kids with his academic methods? Armamentists who can break into the top 18 without even using their weapons. What the hell is going on? This is too much," he thought.

Although the main issue this time was albinism.

"I have a hunch that he's someone dangerous. Why can't I remember him?" he thought and looked at Lady Loren.

She...

She was exactly the same as him.

Meanwhile, in the other VIP room.

Robert Priestley looked at Rebecca, and she looked back at him. They simply asked each other questions and answered with their eyes.

"Albinism... Where the hell have I seen it before, and why can't I remember?" Robert thought.

The theory that someone was interfering with all of their memories grew stronger and stronger. There was no way he could forget an albino person.

There must be something in his mind that reminds him of her.

But no matter how hard he tried to remember and memorize faces, hair colors, eye colors, and everything else he could... he couldn't remember.

He even began to think about the history of his family and the empire, but there was nothing. There was only a very strong hunch that told him he should know who she was.

"I need to see her. I hope she takes off that mask at some point," Robert thought.

The seventh fight had begun.

Louis stepped into the combat arena to face a...

"Martial artist," he thought.

He wasn't very big, about the same size as him. Their muscles were almost equal, so the martial artist didn't look too imposing at first glance.

The problem began when you looked more closely at those muscles.

They looked like iron or some incredibly resistant and powerful mineral. Each muscle seemed to be perfectly sculpted.

If he remembered correctly, he was one of those who had eliminated a former top 10, in this case the top 6.

He had managed to get into the top 16, and since the top 8 come from here, if he lost, he would have the chance to be in the top 10, as the last 2 of the top 10 are taken from the remaining 6.

He gave him a respectful wave.

"You can call me Iron," he said.

"Louis."

Iron smiled. "Time to fight, Young Lord Louis."

He took up a peculiar martial arts stance, with his left leg bent forward, his right leg back, and his hands forming boxing-style arches.

The position seemed to be a mixture of arts, but it gave the impression that it afforded him high mobility, so Louis was cautious.

Soon the starting whistle sounded.

As soon as it did, Iron and Louis each took a step forward.

Enough distance.

Iron suddenly jumped toward him with a deadly fast attack, forcing Louis to defend himself with his arms.

The flying kick was so fast it seemed unreal.

'Magic?' Louis thought. On the soles of Iron's feet were two fairly detailed arkanometric fabrics, of the air type that served to propel him forward dramatically.

That had been fast. He didn't realize it was active until he had it in front of him.

But he managed to stop the attack and quickly counterattacked head-on with a blow to the chest. His hand went straight through and failed to hit where it should have, as his opponent had managed to move nimbly between his body.

He twisted his leg around his arm and then nimbly moved quickly above him to deliver a series of successive blows from very close range.

Louis dodged them by pure instinct, quickly moving his upper body backward and then throwing himself to the side.

Even so, the last of the attacks managed to follow him firmly and hit him in the chest.

He was dragged backward by the force of the impact, but managed to recover quickly.

"Remarkable strength. He must be close to level 100," Louis thought as he touched his chest.

Due to the clean blow, he initially had trouble breathing. What he couldn't understand was, how could he hit him with such precision at that moment?

He must be a great expert to do it so efficiently.

"You're good," Iron said suddenly, stopping his attack.

"I must say the same about you," Louis replied.

He smiled.

"I won't be able to beat you without using my magic," he said.

Louis, for his part, remained silent as he recovered and returned to his fighting stance.

"So it's time to get serious." Iron returned to his fighting stance, now with their positions reversed.

Louis was where Iron had started, and Iron was where Louis had been.

He suddenly activated several spells in succession throughout his body.

"It doesn't grow, but his muscles get stronger." Louis noticed.

It was as if their muscles were gaining internal mass rather than physical appearance. They remained exactly the same as before, but looked stronger even though they hadn't grown.

It was an interesting contrast to see, which made Louis wonder if it was due to Iron's abilities.

Until now, the opponents he had faced didn't have enough power for his abilities to be a problem for him.

In fact, the opponent he found most troublesome was that fat guy, and that guy probably had his ability somewhere in his belly.

But his fighting style didn't benefit him in many ways, or maybe his ability just wasn't that good. After all, not everyone is like him or the Lockwards, who have S-rank abilities and above. Most of the population has F-rank to A-rank abilities.

That's why, even though his ability could have been powerful, it was useless when it created many blind spots and weaknesses for him.

This would be the first time he had seen a good ability in his fights.

And he was sure it wouldn't disappoint him.

Iron finished activating several spells on his body that strengthened every muscle, and without even thinking about activating his ability, he lunged forward with force.

His body traveled quickly across the distance, and soon a kick flew rapidly from one side to the other, dodged by Louis.

But his movement was so fast that the kick was only a momentum for the next attack, a firm blow from top to bottom.

After dodging the first blow, Louis tried to attack from below, anticipating this guy's habit of flying attacks. His defensive attack met the incoming blow, and his body was knocked back several meters by the powerful attack.

'Damn, this guy is pretty powerful.'

Despite his high vitality, Louis still felt like his bones would break if this continued. But he was in no position to think nonsense.

Iron was already on top of him, and his blows hurt like iron hitting him continuously. It was painful and hit him deep in his bones, preventing Louis from counterattacking, as each blow stunned him with force.

This is why Louis entered a passive state where he only tried to defend himself against this guy's repeated attacks.

At this point, many people thought Louis would lose. But Iron wasn't maintaining the same level of power in every attack. Sometimes he was stronger than others.

This is what allowed Louis to find some openings, although he didn't take advantage of them initially because he was waiting for something.

Iron was faltering in different attacks not because his strength was diminishing, but because his magic had to be activated occasionally, since the same fabric cannot last forever. This is even true for martial artists, where the fabric usually lasts longer.

For this reason, Iron had to reactivate the same fabric every so often, as its power wore off. This was something new that Louis was seeing, as it was the first time he had the opportunity to study a martial artist so closely.

For that reason, he felt like he wanted to fight this guy more. But at the same time, he knew he had to win.

And he knew something else important: Iron's excessive attacks would use up his mana very quickly, and Louis could withstand these attacks as long as he stood his ground and didn't take any hard hits in an undesirable place. So he just had to be patient.

Be patient in finding the perfect opportunity when he sees that he has little mana, because then he won't be able to defend himself.
