They came like in two waves. These white entities blazing with strange presence, and unique speech pattern. Their towering bodies that dwarfed the largest of suns, their wings shrouding entire godly domains, their halos illuminating the universe as if it was the centre of all things.
The first wave was small, merely a single individual. It spouted strange words. Its tone was monotonous to them, but their contents were unacceptable.
"REPENT."
"RELEASE."
"HERETICAL. SINFUL. ACT."
"CEASE."
"ABOLISH."
"AND. YOU. SHALL. FIND. SHALVATION. IN. HIS. HOLY. LIGHT."
…
The world of her forefather's making was ancient even by the Chaos Sea's standards. In a time where universes only lived a single cosmic year, theirs persevered for over a dozen.
Their beginnings were humble, as was any Chaos World. Any of its primordial entities being far beneath the likes of wandering connate entities from outside.
Their progenitor, the great dragon Tiamat spawned from the black ocean. Her existence began a chain of events that resulted in the archaic version of her home. She was also among her many decadents.
But Tiamat was simple, unambitious, caring only about the still state of the primordial world. She and her like minded kin were powerful however, the peak of what divinity could achieve at the time.
When the dusk of existence came, Tiamat was more than happy to await oblivion. The primordial ones were too, 'entranced,' by their Chaos World's state of existence.
The younger races could not accept that. Hence they devised a way to restore their universe's vitality. The forced absorption of another Chaos World.
Tiamat's ilk would not have it. "Too obscene," they'd said. "Improper and against the natural order." They were fools.
And in their arrogance, they'd rather massacre their descendants then let them act in the salvation of their home.
It was good that great Marduk took action when he did. Destroying the old order and ushering in a world there eternity could be worked towards. After all, is survival not what living was all about?
This their Chaos World grew, and they along with it. She became one of those who rose out of the carcass of the old world. Praised as Queen of heaven.
Then they came…
…
So large and strange. So bright and warm. So gentle and strong.
Oh how she hated it. The pretentious monstrosities who called themselves, 'Angels'.
So called heralds of the sacred message. Their so called kindness was an insult to all their efforts in sustaining their home.
So of course Marduk took offence. What did that creature expect? Coming here to flaunt its dick around as if it owned the place.
Proclaiming them heathens and in need of education. Insinuating their stupidity and suggesting the abolishment of everything that was theirs. All so to follow in the footsteps of the true path, as they put it.
And most insulting of all, they denounced their divinity. Their cultivation that they'd worked for, for so long. They wanted to eradicate it.

It was unthinkable for they who had already surpassed the second order of celestial lifeforms.
They tore the thing apart.
…
They should've known something was strange when it died. It did not scream, nor beg for mercy, nor act in anyway to preserve its own life.
Oh it had fought back, furiously so. It's power was akin to a great deity, strong but not the strongest. Yet even so, it fought as if it didn't even understand its lesser strength.
"I. AM. A. TOOL. OF. THE. LORD."
"I. AM. A. TOOL. OF. THE. LORD."
"DESTROYING. ME. IS. BLASTHEMTY."
It said in the same booming way of an announcer, yet held the same monotone voice. It was insanity to her who watched the lesser gods butcher it.
She didn't participate of course. Why dirty herself on a work meant for servants.
Then 'they' came.
One thousand similar entities encircled their home universe. All with the same style of feathery wings. The same bizarre appearance indescribable to all. The same halo spinning above their heads.
It was comparatively a tiny number to even the private army of her personal domain. Barely enough individuals to fill out a squadron in Marduk's hall.
It was not even their sheer size, that blanked the totality of the sky, that shocked them. It was their cultivation.
Every single one of them were comparable to third order celestial lifeforms. More power then the entire pantheon combined.
They stood like sentinels, guarding the entrance and exists. Their shining appearance suddenly appeared haunting to the rulers of the Chaos World named Babylonia.
"THE. VIRTUE. WAS. SLAIN."
"NEGOTIATION. IS. BEYOND. COMPREHENSION."
"TERMINATION. OF. FILTH. AUTHORIZED."
"RESTORATION OF ORDER AUTHORIZED."
"ABSOLVANCE FOR MORTALS AUTHORIZED."
"SALVATION FOR THE BELOVED AUTHORIZED."
"Who are you?" She remembered Marduk demanding of them.
He was also a being of substantial power, hence did not necessarily fear the encirclement at the start.
Even among the greater cosmic community outside their universe, he was a well known and respected expert. Thus his words washed over the extra dimensional entities like a ferocious storm. She remembered it having clearly unsettled them.
"THE. FILTH. SPEAKS. TO. US."
"FILTH."
"FILTH."
"WE. HAVE. BEEN. TAINTED."
"WE. MUST. TERMINATE. OURSELVES. LESS. WE. INFECT. THE. HOST. WITH. FILTH."
"THE. FILTH. WHOM. HAS. TURNED. IN. IGNORANCE. SCREAM. FOR. LIGHT."
The largest and most imposing of them all spat incomprehensible words. The same monotone voice, the same booming presentation.
They all opened their mouths, making it clear that one thousand was merely the carriers of many more.
It was overkill.
She'd lost count of how many there were. All she remembered were tides of wings. Their holy lances, their beautiful fire that eradicated reality. The soft ways they'd clasp their hands in prayer.
She remembered the souls of mortals and gods alike leaving their broken shells to a new holy home. At the time, she was angered by the audacity of these invaders.
"How dare you?" She bellowed in her wrath. Swipes of her godly hand incinerating her own worshippers who dared to pray to them.
"SALVATION. SALVATION."
"GRANT. SALVATION. IN. THE. KINGDOM. OF…"
The enormous entities spoke a single name. To her, it registered as an incomprehensible noise.
"ARRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!" She gripped her head at the splitting headache that followed. The lesser gods of the pantheon bled from their eyes.
Great Marduk wielding his axe keeled over from the same traumatic pain. From instinct alone, they knew the name they uttered was otherworldly.
Their brains, even as advanced as they were, could not understand it. Could not comprehend the complete world. Only seldomly catching a few syllables. Even so, it was so hard for their own mouths to pronounce.
The head of this host then appeared. Its power so dramatically greater that it was pure comedy. It stared down Marduk who had finally understood the gravity of the situation.
"SAVLATION."
"HOLY."
"CULTIVATION."
"FILTH."
"RESTORE."
"THE."
"TRUE."
"PEACEFUL."
"BEAUTIFUL."
"ORDERLY."
"BY."
"……."
Its dispassionate eyes portrayed no emotion. Its monotonous booming voice were akin to weapons. Its innumerable wings that merged into six greater wholes, where upon each feather possessed glowing eyes.
As it unwrapped its wings from its body, she caught glimpse of its face. Faces would be more accurate. A man, an eagl, an ox, and her own sacred animal, the lion.
…
She ran. She could only run. There was no point in fighting. There was no such thing as hope. Or maybe there was?
Hope only existed in 'their' embrace. Justice only existed in 'their' embrace. They had been at fault for not knowing 'their' words.
She screamed, desperately pushing her vehicle to travel as fast as possible. Far away from the one's giving chase. She had not dared to look back, terrified of the gaze of that creature.
"Stay away!" She screamed at her winged pursuers. Her ears already deafened to the point where she couldn't hear what they said.
"Stay away!"
"Leave me alone!"
She casted her greatest divine technique, allowing manifestations of Gugalana to stampede over them. She didn't know if it had worked, running was all she cared about.
"Please just let me be!" She cried, no longer caring for her pride.
Their wings beating, her arms reaching for hers in spite of her cultivated power, they were powerful enough to pierce her side.
Fire blazed around her alongside holy light. The last cries of her godking had long ceased. The enlightened creature was doing something to her universe.
It was so big that it didn't even pay attention to her. Its lesser kin were already enough to injure her.
She fought desperately, pushing them off her. She continued to force herself to travel further. Eventually breaking free to accelerate once more.
They still came like an unrelenting tide. Their spears of light and words of flame burned across her back, pierced her stomach, cleaved off her limbs.
She still continued to run.
Transforming into a comet that skied across the Chaos Sea. The chase took them so far away, that the enlightened holy entity was no longer visible, nor even detectable.
She was just a chunk of meat. She barely remembered who she was. Her shuttle was barely functional. Her treasures were all exhausted.
They still pursued her, cutting(saving) more pieces of her. The only thing keeping her movement going was the singular thought to escape.
Chaotic tides stronger than the vast majority of cultivators swept them up. Following the gravity of a gigantic Chaos World in the distance.
The twin comets sailed towards it. Fleeing turned into falling. Chaotic qi turned into open air.
Falling and falling. Then she smashed into a vast sea.
…
Unknown to her, halfway through this , her pursuers had already been annihilated by the moirai
…
She woke up alone in the bed of her latest lover with a splitting headache. Something was bothering her that she just couldn't quite remember.
It had always been like this of course. For all her perfection, she'd sometimes get migraines. But she'd always taken care to not expose this aspect of her.
After pouring herself a glass of nectar, she began the long process of dolling herself up. Checking her mirror, Aphrodite made sure she was as perfect as possible.
"Lovely," she said.
