"It's Billy, he's over here!"

When I heard this, I turned to look at the Perfumer that had suddenly appeared behind me.

But I wasn't surprised to see this Perfumer appear all of a sudden like this.

It was only a matter of time before they started appearing.

There were some that were afraid of the reputation that Billy had and would avoid him. But there were also those that wanted to prove themselves or were greedy for the items that Billy might have.

That was why when they heard about what he had done, they chose to gather together to take him down.

So it wasn't just a single Perfumer that appeared.

It wasn't even a single group of Perfumers that appeared.

It was several groups that gathered to come after him together.

They were planning on hunting him together, but it wasn't as if they had discussed how they would share the spoils ahead of time. However, that didn't matter since the first thing that had to happen was that they had to take Billy down.

With his fame, they knew that this wouldn't be easy.

However, what they didn't expect was that I had been keeping my eyes on them the entire time.

As for how I kept my eyes on them, it was through the new puppets that had been made.

One of the new puppets had been the one that told these groups about what happened and was partially responsible for gathering them in the first place. After gathering them, it was only natural that they would follow them.

Through the eyes of that puppet, I was able to watch this group as they came.

I had even been able to prepare traps ahead of their arrival.

But it wasn't the time to trigger them.

Once these Perfumers came out, they didn't hesitate at all to use different methods in an attempt to take me down. Though they had come together for a single goal, it wasn't as if they were used to working together.

It wasn't as if they knew how to work properly with one another, so they all did their own thing.

All of them used different attacks against me.

Some of them interfered with each other, but there were some that came in my direction.

It was just that before any of these could reach me, there was a blue barrier that appeared in front of me.

The Perfumers couldn't help knitting their brows when they saw this, but they didn't panic either as they looked around this place. It seemed that they didn't believe that I was the one that had created this barrier.

They believed that I most likely used some kind of magic item to create this and were currently searching for that magic item.

After all, the best way to shut down a barrier like this was to find its source and take care of it. That magic item that they believed that I used would be the source of this barrier.

It was just too bad that it wasn't actually a magic item that had created this barrier.

Instead, it was someone that was hiding from plain sight, someone that they just couldn't see at all.

Partly because they hid themselves and partly because they were focused on me.

As they were searching, they didn't notice that there were things that were coming out of the ground. It was just a few holes at first, but then there was an entire arm that came out of the ground.

However, this arm was only the bone and didn't have any flesh on it.

Once it came out of the ground, the first thing that this arm did was grab the leg of the person closest to it.

"Ah! What are these things?" That person immediately panicked seeing not just this single skeletal arm come out of the ground, but several other skeletal arms come out as well.

The Perfumers had certainly been caught off guard by the skeletal arms that came out of the ground, but there was a reason why they were considered talented youths.

Once they came back to their senses, they didn't waste any time in pulling out weapons.

They didn't use their main perfumes this time since they knew that there was no way that it would have an effect on these skeletons.

But it wasn't as if their combat abilities were weak.

They had also been trained on how to use these daggers that they pulled out.

It was only natural that they would be trained on another method since it was impossible for their perfumes to always work. They knew that they had to prepare another method just in case.

These daggers were that other method.

Only they found that it wasn't that easy to cut through the skeletal arms.

When they tried, they found that their daggers just bounced off the skeletal arms.

It seemed that no matter how hard they swung at these skeletal arms, they just weren't able to cut through them at all. It was as if there was something that was protecting these skeletal arms.

The problem was that these skeletal arms were grabbing at them and some of them had already been grabbed by them. If they didn't break free, then there was nothing that they could do.

The ones that were caught couldn't help panicking more than the others.

One of them suddenly asked, "Billy, how could you do something like this? Come to your senses already!"

"Ha, ha, ha…" I just gave a laugh when I heard this, but I didn't bother answering them.

Hearing this, it seemed like they were even more convinced that I was being controlled by something and they tried to talk me out of this even more.

It was to the point where they weren't paying attention to the one that was behind them.

"Billy, come back to…pu…"

He didn't get to finish his words as a dagger stabbed him in the back.
