It wasn't just this one spot that this was happening.
The same thing was happening all over the different entrances to the outpost.
Since this was an outpost that gathered all of the necromancers in the area, it was only natural that there would be different entrances to this place. Especially since it wasn't as if the necromancers could show others that they were necromancers in the first place.
So it only made sense that they would have many different entrances to enter from.
But that just meant that we had to send undead to all of the different entrances to make sure that none of them escaped.
With the clear difference in degree of undead, it was easy for us to take down all of the necromancers that came out to see what was happening.
As for the necromancers that were hiding inside of the outpost…
There really wasn't much clean up that was needed since many of them had actually been crushed by the falling rocks caused by Draco's breath. Even if they were powerful necromancers that could raise the dead, there was no one that could raise them once they died.
Even their undead weren't able to stop all of these rocks that came crashing down on them.
It really didn't seem fair to the necromancers with the way that they died, but I didn't feel any pity for them.
After all, they were the ones that chose to join the Undead Society in the first place.
With the skeletons clearing the way, there really wasn't anything for us to do.
All we could do was wait for the skeletons to finish clearing out the cave that the outpost was in.
But it really felt like a waste of time to just be doing nothing.
That was why I moved over to the corpses of the necromancers that the skeletons cut down.
"As expected of the Undead Society, they really chose the best materials possible to create these necromancers."
By that, I meant that I could sense the high mana sensitivity that these necromancers had.
It only made sense since the Undead Society captured kids from the areas around the magic towers. As such, they were able to find kids that had the potential to become wizards in the first place.
Just like this avatar.
Though it was a bit different in this case since this avatar had turned into a lich and was now taking revenge on the Undead Society.
After thinking about it, I didn't feel any pity for these necromancers since there was no telling whether they chose to join the Undead Society on purpose or not.
At the same time, there was a part of me that wondered what would have happened if they hadn't turned me into a lich and had me become a necromancer instead…
"I would have still taken revenge on them for getting in my way." I couldn't help thinking to myself before focusing on the main thing that I wanted to do.
There was a reason why I had gathered up the corpses of these necromancers in the first place.
I put most of them into my spatial storage, but I had something to test with one of the corpses.
After having the skeletons bring the corpse over, I put an array down around it and channeled my mana into that array. The mana that went into the array turned into this black energy that soon filled the corpse.
In no time at all, the corpse started to reform.
It had been chopped into pieces by the skeletons, so it had to be reformed first before it could be raised as an undead.
After it reformed, the flesh fell away from the bones and there were only flames that were left in the eye socket.
Once this happened, it stood up before flying off the ground.
Floating there in front of me, it looked at me as if it was waiting for orders.
But I didn't say anything as I observed this undead that I had raised.
It was my first time raising something like this after all.
This wasn't just a normal lich, rather this was an elder lich that was at a higher level than the normal lich.
The main difference was the amount of power that they possessed.
The elder lich had more than ten times the mana of a normal lich after all.
At the same time, the elder lich had a chance to develop their own soul and could move all on their own. It was just like how I was an elder lich and was able to move on my own.
For now, it seemed like it still didn't have proper intelligence yet.
In terms of undead, it was still a baby and still had to learn how to act as an undead.
Still, undead learned much faster than humans did, so it wouldn't take long for this elder lich to develop.
But at the same time, there was something special about this elder lich.
"It's more than twenty times more than a normal lich…" I muttered to myself as I observed this elder lich before saying, "As expected of the Undead Society, they really make the best materials."
The Undead Society was made of corpses that had a high mana affinity after all since they were able to become necromancers in the first place.
The rest of the corpses that I had gathered, if I were to turn them into elder liches as well…
It seemed like I was getting closer and closer to bringing down the Undead Society.
Not to mention that I was doing it with the elder liches that I was raising from their corpses.
It really was a bit ironic how this was happening to them.
But this was what they deserved after what they did to me.
"Village chief, the skeletons have finished clearing the place out and they've found some interesting things."
I could hear the excitement that was in their voices as they said this.
