"Filly," during the intense battle, Ash calmly said, "Go outside for help, call others to catch the arsonist!"

In a split second, Ash had considered the situation clearly—having Filly participate in the battle was too much for this newborn demon, but making her flee to call for help posed no issue. He just needed to hold off Vishi until others arrived, then without the demon, Vishi would naturally be trapped by the mysterious chains!

Ash called twice before the dazed Filly, sitting on the ground, reacted, quickly getting up and fleeing the classroom. But when she reached the stairwell, the back wall suddenly burst open. Ash, with his abdomen burned through, slammed into the wall, forming a human-shaped pit, and Filly felt the searing heat almost setting the back of her neck on fire!

Clang!

In the nick of time, Ash used the Holy Domain to shield Filly, but at the cost of the flesh on his arm melting like ice cream. He had been using the Joyful Sword to heal his wounds all along, but the combined pain of melting and regeneration made his voice uneven.

"Don't be afraid, keep going. As long as I'm here, I promise you'll be safe."

"Actually, you'd be better off running away," Vishi said with a sinister smile, "As long as you flee, I definitely won't chase you, nor will I kill her. After all, I'm a soul demigod. A little misunderstanding like 'almost killed her' has many ways to be resolved within the Soul Faction..."

Swoosh!

A blue Phantom Sword Servant emerged from Ash, as if the Substitute Technique Spirit sensed its master's impending doom, it too decided to risk it all! Simultaneously, a black Phantom Sword Servant emerged from Filly, and the dual phantoms cut into Vishi's Holy Domain, forcing the Ghost Prophet to retreat defensively!

Seeing this scene, Filly, who was fleeing frantically down the stairs, suddenly stopped. Ash immediately noticed the halt in footsteps, but without turning back, he asked, "What happened?"

"I can actually help you fight, right?" Filly mustered up her courage and said, "Before I can call for help, you might be killed by her! If I help you, could we defeat her?"

"I indeed cannot deny the possibility," Vishi giggled, "After all, you are a 'demon', possessing the most formidable violence. If you know how to wield your power, I wouldn't win against... the two of you!"

She pretended to grasp with both hands, conjuring two enormous flame tridents. At the same time, her whole body burst into flames, causing the floor tiles and windows to deform and melt under the high temperature.

To wield the twin tridents, Vishi could no longer precisely control every ounce of her power... she was also going all out!

What she said was just to tempt Filly to stay and face death. With Filly around, Ash had to protect the demon, which in turn limited his space to evade.

But facing a thoroughly insane Vishi, Ash was not confident he could hold out. He took a deep breath and calmly said, "I don't know how you can help me, but I will buy you some time."

"If I lose, you run with all your strength, don't look back."

Ash stood at the stairwell, drawing three Sword Traces on the ground, and then three warm yellow barriers rose before him.

Miracle · Triple Sword Barrier!

Vishi laughed, "For someone you don't even know, why go to such lengths?"

"Didn't you ask about peace or dignity?" Ash replied, "It doesn't matter if I can't grasp or see it, so-called dignity... is about being able to see and touch it!"

Suddenly, it was as if fireworks were blooming in the comprehensive building. The flames were burning to the extreme, compressing the air to the limit until it exploded, as if a meteorite had fallen to earth!

Boom!

The Triple Sword Barrier shattered upon contact, Ash swung his dual swords to hold off Vishi's flame tridents, but the hot wind kept invading the Holy Domain, igniting his skin, tearing apart his flesh!

Yet, the stairs Ash guarded below remained unharmed. Filly watched the silhouette blocking in front, forcing herself to calm down, wracking her brains to solve the problem.

What is a demon? What is the power of a demon? How can I help him? We are strangers, he could have abandoned me from the start, and yet he fights that monster for me... I can't, I can't watch him die...

Just like when I watched my mother die.

Filly bit her lips until they almost bled, but she felt nothing. She wasn't a demon; she was just a lamb knowing nothing!

Suddenly, she noticed the chains linking the shackles on her hands. Without any time to think, she grasped the chain and pulled hard—

Facing Vishi directly, Ash suddenly felt his neck being yanked, revealing a gap in his tight defense. Vishi wouldn't miss such a chance, and her flame trident pounded the Holy Domain, the scorching hot wind about to disintegrate Ash's body—

Thud!

A sudden wind explosion blew Vishi away, she spun thrice in the air before landing smoothly, her expression serious as she stared at the black fog rolling down the stairwell.

The black fog quickly dissipated, revealing Filly standing there in confusion, with no sign of Ash.

Vishi was stunned, then immediately smiled, "Didn't expect him to have such an escape card, and I didn't notice any spatial ripples... how exactly did he escape? But, no matter."

She looked at Filly, and a sweet, adorable smile gradually adorned her face, "So, do you want peace or dignity?"

However, Filly just stared dumbly behind Vishi. Vishi frowned slightly, feeling nothing, she definitely wouldn't be tricked by such petty games...

Slash!

Vishi narrowly dodged, wiping the blood off her neck, her expression turning solemn—she had just encountered a strike that couldn't be foreseen!

What was going on? She had clearly expanded the Holy Domain, but yet it didn't respond?

Slash! Slash! Slash!

In the air, the fierce Sword Light forced Vishi into a desperate dodge. She summoned her flame trident, swung it in a circle, but hit nothing.

In a flash of thought, she concentrated her mind, retracting the Holy Domain to cling completely to her skin, devoid of any air entry gap, then raised the flame trident to strike at Filly!

Beneath Vishi's conceited facade lay a circumspect and vicious resolve. She had thoughts of taking this demon under her wing, but to secure her life, she would rather eliminate the demon to rid herself of the current strange predicament!

Just then, Vishi's Holy Domain finally perceived a fierce slash from behind, even cutting into her spine which she could only simultaneously heal while turning in the air to counter-attack ferociously!

Boom!

As flames and Sword Light burst forth, she saw a familiar face—

It was Ash!

Ash, who should have escaped and vanished, abruptly appeared behind her now, his double-sword Sword Light falling like a torrential storm on her Holy Domain!

In a fraction of a second, the battle-hardened Vishi discerned the truth of the bizarre situation: "You can actually perfectly vanish? Did you hide in an alternate dimension? Or... "

"It's not invisibility," since he was caught, Ash wasn't interested in hiding anymore, disappearing into thin air: "It's the Observer."
