(Sylia in Her Nights Form)
Looking back, Sylia knew when things had truly begun to unravel. It had started seven years ago, during one of the worst conflicts the Krevoski and Sigmundi families had found themselves dragged into. It had also been a dire period for her. She had been entangled in business she preferred neither to recall nor to name. Back then, Masha had grown wild and unstable, the very embodiment of the Evil Queen's heir.
Even Sylia's Division that had been holding her was tainted, however slightly, by her excessive corruption. Sylia referred to that one with some bitterness as Sylia-Marsh.
Things had likely worsened three years ago when Masha became completely evil. At the request of many Gods and under the persistent insistence of those who supported her, Sylia granted Masha a copy of her adult body.

Yet, it quickly became clear that Masha had succumbed to corruption. Several lives were lost by her hand. One victim was a teenager whose heart she tore out while performing a forbidden Darknest ritual. Another was a child, disposed of in a similar manner.
Sylia had not been surprised by those events, but the Noble and famous Greesham family, who had always shown great indulgence toward Masha, was utterly shocked. The reason was that the two victims were related to them.
Sylia had little patience for fools. Despite her constant warnings, they had invited Masha over and continued pleading for her.
Ultimately, Sylia had yielded to their persistent demands and left them to face the consequences. Many from their lands were later purged because of the Malevolence concentrated there.
Even the Nagasmar Kings had been stunned by the extent of corruption and Malevolence in that territory and withdrew their forces from the contaminated area.
Gyunlsa, the Duke of Greesham, who had welcomed Masha with open arms and opposed Sylia from the start, was now imprisoned within a crystal that slowly drained him of the Malevolence and corruption he had accumulated.
