The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 140: To the Flame Giant Who Destroys Everything! _3

A bloodthirsty and fierce silhouette emerged from the rolling dust.

Two iron chains trailed behind him, and the mottled stains that covered his body were indistinguishable between rust and blood.

"Ka! Ao!" Kassen Skullcrusher let out a murky roar, then quickened his pace, charging towards the Horror Demon gripping the battle axe.

The true duel had finally begun!

Or should it be said—

A ritual to please the Flame of Destruction!

...

The sound of metal clashing echoed through the wilderness.

Driven by the instinct to survive, Xino, who overcame his fear, erupted with astonishing combat strength, and even faintly broke through the limits of his soul!

Kassen Skullcrusher was no different.

Under his thirst for slaughter and blood, this ogre chieftain also unleashed power beyond limits, utilizing his body and weapon to the extreme!

Under the gaze of the Flame of Destruction, the two sides fought back and forth...

Meanwhile, elsewhere.

It wasn't just Xino Dragon who felt lost in this world; a tall and a short skeleton also stood here in bewilderment.

The tall skeleton's ID was Yiye Zhiqu, and the short one, the Undead Rat, was naturally Hu Wan. One looked up at the sky, while the other blankly examined the surroundings, both confused about the situation.

Just a few minutes ago, they were scavenging for spoils on the battlefield, then suddenly it became bright as they walked?

"Holy shit..."

"Where the hell did this take me?"

The two stared at each other for a while, and finally, Zhiqu was the first to break the silence with a light cough.

"First, let's rule out that this is a maze..."

"No kidding."

Expecting him to say something useful and after a long wait, Hu Wan couldn't help but roll his eyes in reality too.

Being so bluntly mocked by his good brother, Yiye Zhiqu felt a bit embarrassed and touched his nose bridge with his index finger.

"Sorry... I'm also a bit confused right now, let me think. Then the floor suddenly collapsed?"

Hu Wan shook his head.

"It wasn't the floor collapsing; what I saw was a crack appearing on the ground... It didn't really look like a crack, more like a door."

It felt as if there was a painting on the ground, and as he stepped forward, he went straight through the image and entered into the painting.

However, the eerie thing was, behind him, there was nothing but desolation, completely void of any so-called door or anything similar.

"...Okay, to put it simply, it's something like a teleport portal. What's not certain now is whether this portal is one-way or two-way."

As he spoke, Yiye Zhiqu looked up at the sky.

"The sun is much smaller than the one on the surface... that huge outline, could it be a giant planet?"

"Giant planet?" Hu Wan was taken aback, "What's that?"

"Like Jupiter, Saturn, primarily made of gas. Look it up online, you'll find a clearer explanation than mine..." Yiye Zhiqu stared at that grand silhouette in the sky for a long time, before finally squeezing out a sentence, "I'm even starting to doubt whether we're still on the same planet."

Hu Wan glanced at him.

"Is there a problem?"

Yiye Zhiqu was stunned.

"Aren't you surprised? It's as if we were on Earth one second, and then on Europa the next."

Hu Wan couldn't help but retort.

"It's just textures... Do you think the game company would design an entire planet for one dungeon or level?"

From a cost perspective, that's not possible, right!

"..."

Because this statement made too much sense, Yiye Zhiqu found himself at a loss for a rebuttal.

Perhaps it was because the game was too realistic.

He always couldn't help but consider things from a realistic point of view, to the point where he forgot he was wearing a VR headset while sitting in a gaming chair.

"What do we do now?" Hu Wan looked around, unable to see too far because of his height.

After thinking for a moment, Yiye Zhiqu suggested.

"Let's look around... it's not just us that were sent here; there might be others as well."

Just as he was speaking, a commotion suddenly came from not far away, and a gaunt hyena-like creature appeared around them out of nowhere.

It was as if swept in by the wind, arriving without any warning, almost as though it simply appeared with the blink of an eye.

Its cloudy pupils were filled with bloodlust and greed, its snarling teeth hissing as if it had seen some delicious prey.

The two exchanged glances, both seeing a trace of disbelief in each other's eyes.

How strange!

In the maze, no living thing showed interest in their skeletal frames, but here someone was actually drooling over them?

But now was not the time for curiosity!

Watching the restless beast, Yiye Zhiqu took the lead and raised his right hand, as a crimson flame coalesced between his emaciated knuckles.

"Blast Flame!"

A fireball, solid as reality, formed before shooting towards the snarling hyena like an arrow released from a bow!

Seeing the fiery blaze hurtling towards it, the hyena sidestepped to dodge and quickly pounced towards the two standing in the wilderness.

Seeing his first strike miss, Yiye Zhiqu didn't pause for a moment, launching another fireball to block the hyena's trajectory while chanting another spell.

Hu Wan, in perfect sync with him, had already drawn his enchanted dagger and leapt forward, his blade viciously stabbing towards the throat of the hyena.

A flash of cold light passed by, shearing off a few fur hairs at the base of the hyena's neck but failing to pierce its flesh.
