The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 136: Professor Lilith's Second Ring_4

As expected of Professor Lillith's room, it's full of traps, and even the doorknob can't be taken lightly.

The entire room began to have a weird atmosphere.

The cowhide book hanging on the back of the chair grew a human face, which opened its mouth wide and shouted excitedly.

"Take him down! Lillith! If you catch this little guy, your dream of having your own Mage Tower in Demon City will come true—ah!"

"Shut up! He's my student."

Lillith nonchalantly threw something, hitting the cowhide book's cover directly, smashing the screaming face back in.

Luo Yan couldn't help feeling relieved; this guy, despite joking around, still had some sense of rationale.

However, as soon as he had that thought, those enchantingly beautiful eyes turned towards him like ripples on a breeze-blown lake.

Indeed—

Priest Geoffrey's teaching was correct!

Not a single Enchanting Demon can be trusted!

"I'm sorry for the embarrassment, classmate Luo Yan... Actually, despite how often I joke around, demons of my generation were quite conservative, unlike the young ones with so many tricks up their sleeves. Sometimes I even worry that I won't be able to keep up with the times."

The eyes fluttered like the wings of a butterfly.

"This gift is too valuable... How do you want me to thank you? Maybe I should give you—"

Luo Yan, who had just wrestled free from the doorknob, hastily cut her off.

"No need, no need! If you really want to help me, just refer some juniors to my Demon King Territory during the graduation season next year. I'm short on manpower... people who can be of use!"

"Is that really all you want?"

A slightly disappointed expression appeared on Professor Lillith's face, but she eventually let him off the hook.

"Alright, I'll praise you more during class. But... I think even without my recommendation, there are plenty of juniors interested in you, you shouldn't worry about lacking volunteers."

"Interested in me?" Luo Yan paused, "It's not because of yesterday's duel, is it?"

Lillith mocked playfully.

"What else could it be for?"

Luo Yan said with a wry smile.

"It's just a duel, it can't be that big of a deal, right?"

"A duel by itself isn't a big deal," Professor Lillith said with a smirk, "but broadcasting it live in every cafeteria and dormitory common area is a different story... By the way, this was Principal Ai Wen's idea. He said we have to show the juniors what a real Demon King is like. Hehehe, you can tell he really favors you."

In his heart, not only was Luo Yan shocked, but he also felt slightly embarrassed.

He didn't expect that the respected Principal had actually done such a thing without his knowledge.

No wonder he felt like he was being watched when he entered the school gate.

Fortunately, he had won that match; otherwise, it would have been quite embarrassing.

Noticing Luo Yan's befuddled face, Lillith chuckled lightly and then drew a gentle arc in the air with her index finger. A pinkish rift appeared out of nowhere, spitting out an antique bronze ring that landed right in the palm of her outstretched hand.

"I can't accept such a precious gift without giving something in return, but I really have nothing else to give you. Let me think... I'll give you something... special." As she spoke, she handed the ring to Luo Yan.

Looking at the ancient bronze ring in his hand, Luo Yan instinctively felt it was no ordinary object and asked curiously.

"What is this?"

"It's a storage ring," Professor Lillith said with a blink, "Do you like it?"

Holy shit?!

A storage ring!

An excited expression appeared on Luo Yan's face.

Although most Diamond Level demons possess the ability to store items in subspace, the technology to make Space Magic artifacts itself has been lost.

Unlike Gold Level magical artifacts.

The value of this ring couldn't possibly be measured using traditional leveling methods; it's like an antique relic!

"Thank you! I absolutely love it..."

"Hehehe, I'm glad you like it. If you could share some of that excess enthusiasm with me, that'd be even better." Professor Lillith sent a flirtatious look his way and continued speaking to a smiling Luo Yan, who didn't know how to respond, "Also, I almost forgot to congratulate you."

Luo Yan replied, subconsciously.

"Congratulate me?"

"You got promoted, didn't you?"

Professor Lillith laughed softly, with a sparkle in her eyes that was both full of intrigue and profoundly meaningful.

It was as if she had discovered an incredible treasure.

"Congratulations, dear classmate Luo Yan, you are now a Silver Demon King."
