The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 62: Spider Cave Flooded!_4

What a relief!

It's just so satisfying!

Watching the so-called Dragon Tribe Clan Leader's smug expression, Sordo, who was carrying a fish spear on his back, nonchalantly curled his lips, a trace of disdain hidden behind his haughty eyes.

Too weak.

Whether it's these self-proclaimed members of the Dragon Tribe that look like geckos, or the little spiders that seem inseparable from a bunch of geckos, they all look like bugs in front of him.

Especially this so-called Clan Leader.

Just a fine-steel level of strength to become the leader of a clan.

It's a case of an overcrowded shallow pond!

"Gotta say, your move is pretty vicious. How come I never thought of that?" Sanu couldn't hide the look of joy on his face as he looked at Sordo carrying the fish spear.

Sordo smiled.

"This? This is nothing. We have plenty more tricks up our sleeves... it's just most of them don't work so well on land."

Sanu grinned broadly, his gaze intense as he spoke.

"Our Dragon Tribe is just the thing to make up for what you lack on land!"

If it had been the Stone Lizard Tribe saying this, he might have been furious, but hearing these delusional fools, he didn't even feel a hint of anger.

"Hahaha! Let's get over the troubles here first before anything else!"

Sordo burst into laughter, lowering the fish spear from his shoulder, the sharp end tapping the raging water.

He closed his eyes, then spoke after a moment.

"Oh, this labyrinth is pretty deep. Can't find the bottom even after so long."

Sanu said proudly.

"Of course, this labyrinth covers most of Thunder County, not even the Silver Pine Forest can compare to its size."

"Is that so... But in that case, our strategy to force the enemy out won't work anymore, will it?" Sordo rubbed his chin with his forefinger, musing aloud.

Sanu frowned.

"I don't believe the Demon King would ignore his vassals, unless he doesn't want to mix with this labyrinth anymore!"

"That's not the issue," Sordo shook his head, tapping his head with his forefinger, "Just give it a little thought, if you were the Demon King, what would you do?"

Sanu, "Block the source!"

Sordo chuckled.

"That's the most dangerous because the enemy is definitely lying in ambush there."

When they want to rob a ship at sea, they don't chase it directly. Trying to swim past humans' steamships isn't easy either.

First, they use the tide to make the opponent deviate from course, then encircle and block them, forcing the human ship to navigate into a storm.

When that time comes, it's their dining time.

If the captain is experienced, he will predict their hunting plan, and then they'll have to adapt... like using the opponents' so-called "familiarity with the sea."

Watching the clueless look on the Dragon Tribe Clan Leader's face, Sordo no longer had any expectation for the guy's intellect as he carried his fish spear towards the labyrinth's flooded entrance.

"You all just wait here, I'll go wait at the 'convergence point' of the flood."

The water had inundated the place for so long without receding, indicating there was a flood diversion design in the labyrinth.

In that case, the opponent might not even bother with the source of the flooding at all but could simply build a few walls at the convergence point of the currents, directing the flood entering the Weaving Shadow Nest elsewhere.

But he wouldn't let that guy succeed, that was certain.

"Do you know where that 'convergence point' is?" Sanu asked, looking at Sordo's retreating figure, his brow furrowed, "Should I send a guide with you?"

This guy was clearly an outsider lizard, but he acted as though he knew the labyrinth well.

Sordo curled his lips dismissively.

"The water flow will guide me."

Watching the Merfolk warriors disappear into the labyrinth entrance, Sanu's face finally showed a trace of displeasure.

This guy...

He had never taken him, the leader of the tribe, seriously from the start!

A pathetic fish out of water, a duckweed with no roots... what was he showing off for?

Niles approached the Clan Leader and whispered,

"What should we do now? Follow them... or keep guarding here?"

Sanu snorted coldly.

"Since he's so confident, let them go. We will just stay here and ensure the water doesn't stop."

Looking at the displeased Clan Leader, Niles gave a bitter smile but was helpless.

He knew the Clan Leader wasn't pleased with this group of gilled folks.

But he really couldn't find any other help...
