The Magical Beast Pets had brought big profits directly and indirectly, but it was easily forged by others. There were also the shortcomings of the pets being hard to rear and bring around.

Originally, when he was getting ready to domesticate, market and bring the Magical Beasts closer to the people, Yang Ling had already considered how to resolve these problems. Now that he had run into the issue of counterfeits, he might as well resolve all these shortcomings once and for all.

Through the Imprisonment Restriction, he could seal a Magical Beast away in a crystal stone, and make it into a Magic Hunting Card. So naturally, using the same method, he could make Pet Cards to seal away Magical Beast Pest.

With a Pet Card that would recognize its owner with a drop of his or her blood, people could conveniently carry their Magical Beast Pets. They could keep it and summon it out whenever they want. It was convenient to use.

With a Pet Card that would recognize its owner with a drop of his or her blood, the Magical Beast Pets from the Magical Beasts Realm would be unique in the Tailun Continent. As long as the methods of catching, techniques of taming and rearing, and the way the Pet Cards were made were kept as tightly guarded secrets, he believed that no one else would be able to pretend to that the Magical Beast Pets they were selling were from the Magical Beasts Realm.

After asking Harribell to wait in Jaboli for a few days, Yang Ling closed himself off again, to consider how to make the Pet Cards in detail.

Just like the Magic Hunting Cards, if Yang Ling were to rely on himself and Master Aaron, they would not be able to mass produce the Pet Cards. As he progressed in the understanding of Wizardry, he had focused all his energy on practicing and exploring the traces of the Ancient Wizard. He did not even have much time to manage his Domain, much more to make large numbers of Pet Cards by himself.

Establish a Wizard Sect and teach various Wizardry suited to each individual?

There were specializations in the career of a Wizard. Afterall, there’s always a limit to one’s energy. Recalling the Alice who improved in leaps and bounds when studying Poison Techniques, and the Scorpion King Immet, which was thrilled by Puppet Wizardry, Yang Ling had a sudden thought. He thought again about the necessity and importance of establishing a Wizard Sect in the Magical Beasts Realm, to pass on various types of Wizardry.

Master Aaron was known as the continent’s Genius Alchemist. His talent for alchemy was far above your ordinary Alchemist. The Gnome Elder was skilled with his hands, mastering the secrets behind Gnome Spell Formations. If he could get these two old fellows to join he Wizard sect and teach the techniques behind making Wizard Weapons and setting Restriction, they might be able to fully show their specialties off!

Furthermore, while the core of the Crystal was where a Magical Beast would be sealed away in a Magic Hunting Card or Pet Card, a Gnome Spell Formation drawn on its surface would also be of great importance.

A Fire Element Spell Formation could be drawn, and people who hold the cards could use it to attack enemies with exploding fireballs. A Wind Acceleration Spell Formation could be drawn, and it could boost the speed of the people who hold the cards. A Water Element Spell Formation could be drawn, and when under attack, an orb of water shield would automatically surface for people who hold the cards, to defend against enemy attack….

In this way, a card would not simply be just a Pet Card!

“A Hunter’s power is symbolized by the number of stars. Then, I can use the same method to differentiate the cards of different levels. This may not be a bad idea!” After thinking deeply for a good long while, Yang Ling thought of a way to differentiate the different levels of cards.

One to Three-star cards would be Pet Cards. After recognizing its owner with a drop of blood, one could seal away a Magical Beast which was level three or lower, without expending much Mental Energy. But the card itself would not come with any additional Spell Formations, or would only have a simple Gnome Spell Formation, without any attack or defense capabilities.

Four to Six-star Cards would be Battle Cards. After recognizing its owner with a drop of blood, more Mental Energy would be needed to activate it. It could seal away an intermediate level Magical Beast of levels four to six. A few Gnome Spell Formations, with certain attack and defense capabilities could be drawn on it. Not only could it seal a Magical Beast Pet, it could also be a powerful weapon.

Seven to Nine-star Cards would be Magic Hunting Cards. After recognizing its owner with a drop of blood, Mental Energy and Wizard Power would be needed to activate it. But it could seal away a high level Magical Beast of levels seven to nine. More complicated Gnome Spell Formations, with powerful attack and defense capabilities could be drawn on it.

Pet Cards could be mass produced, and sold together with Magical Beast Pets at a high price, earning them a tidy profit. Battle Cards could be produced in limited quantities to equip loyal soldiers and Hunters, raising their battle capability. The number of Magic Hunting Cards on the other hand, would need to be tightly controlled and used only to equip the core members of the Magical Beasts Realm.

After pondering on this multiple times, Yang Ling instructed Orlando to use the Teleportation Spell Formation to get Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder here overnight to tell them his plans.

Teach Wizardry?

After understanding Yang Ling’s intentions, Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder were greatly moved. After experiencing how powerful the Magic Hunting Card was, they had always wanted to create a whole Magic Hunting Card by themselves. Unfortunately, they did not understand the mysterious Wizardry and were unable to fulfil their wish no matter how hard they tried.

“Thank you, Tutor!”

After sharing a look, Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder bowed to Yang Ling respectfully. In order to learn more powerful Wizardry, and in order to improve the Alchemy skills, they were willing to become Yang Ling’s disciples.

“Get up, both of you, get up. Don’t be shy. I’ll be embarrassed to take in such elderly disciples!” After shaking his head and smiling, Yang Ling continued, “I intend to establish a Wizard Sect to teach various Wizardry. The two of you will be the Elders of the Wizard Sect, especially in charge of making equipment and weapons!”

While speaking, Yang Ling cast Spirit Mantra, and deeply engraved the basic Wizard Spells and how to cast Restriction, deep within the Souls of Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder. Thereafter, he took a bottle of the Water of the Spring of Life, made with Life Essence and split it into two bottles. He gave them one each, and instructed them to take ten drops a day to quickly cultivate their Wizard Power.

The Water of the Spring of Life was not only an antidote to many types of poisons, but it could also increase the speed of cultivation, and could even age someone backwards, making a person tem years younger. With half a bottle of the Water of the Spring of Life, Yang Ling believed that Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder would be able to cultivate the Wizard Power required to make the Pet Cards before long.

Actually, an ordinary person only needed to drink a few drops of the Water of the Spring of Life for it to work. But both Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder were very old, and had already missed the prime age to practice cultivation. To strengthen their body greatly, and increase their speed of cultivation, Yang Ling did not care about a bottle of the Water of Spring of Life.

A small piece of Life Essence was able to make a big bottle of the Water of the Spring of Life. To others, the Water of the Spring of Life might be priceless, but to him, it was not a great treasure.

Furthermore, the Tree of Life was growing rapidly. According to Sophia, they might not have long to wait before the tree can secrete the Water of the Spring of Life. Even if Yang Ling had used up all the Life Essence, he still had access to an endless supply of the Water of the Spring of Life.

“Thank you my Lord!”

Seeing Yang Ling sit corss-legged on the ground and close his eyes, Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder said their goodbyes and left loaded, and were greatly moved. Not to mention the mysterious Wizardry, just that half a bottle of the Water of the Spring of Life was enough to benefit them greatly in this lifetime.

“Aaron, are you going to practice cultivation in Jaboli or going back to Wissen Town?” After leaving Yang Ling’s lodge, the Gnome Elder asked Master Aaron beside him.

“No, we can stay in the Lord’s Manor to practice cultivation and quickly make those Pet Cards!” After putting the priceless Water of the Spring of Life into the Space Ring, Master Aaron smiled.

All this time, it was his greatest wish to find out the theory behind the Magic Hunting Card. How could he bear to waste time going from place to place after Yang Ling taught him the Wizardry? Furthermore, if they were to practice cultivation and make the cards in the Lord’s Manor they could ask Yang Ling immediately if they had any questions.

“Yes, we’ll practice cultivation here. But, we have to at least get our equipment sent here. Come, let’s go see Miss Yuna together!” Understanding what Master Aaron meant, the Gnome Elder loudly agreed.

To make the cards, one naturally needed corresponding tools of Alchemy. But, if an Alchemy Tower could be built in Jaboli for experiments, or if they could get all the equipment shipped over from Wissen Town, that would be wonderful.

Be it building an Alchemy tower for experiments or shipping many equipment, they all need much labor and expenses. If they were to speak with the old fox Goode, they might never come to a conclusion. But if they had the support of Yuna, the Mistress of this land, then everything would be easier.

Thereafter, with Yuna’s support, Master Aaron and the Gnome Elder need not worry about trivial things and concentrate on practicing the Wizardry engraved deep within their minds.

With the help of the Water of the Spring of Life, they visibly improved, grasping the technique behind the cultivation within two days. With the added effect of the Spirit Gathering Spell Formation cast by Yang Ling, their cultivation moved along rapidly. Within a few days, they accumulated the Wizard Power required to make a Pet Card. Especially Master Aaron, who understood the technique to cast Restriction after experimenting many times, grasping the principles behind the Magic Hunting Card.

A genius is a genius. Even Yang Ling was in awe of the rate of Maser Aaron’s progress!

Maybe, after he had leveled to become a high-level Divine Wizard, he could ask this old fellow Aaron, to teach him how to make Wizard Weapons, so that he could really become a master at weapons making!

Understanding Master Aaron’s talent and in making equipment and looking at the silhouette of him busy making Pet Cards, Yang Ling fell into deep thought.

To a Wizard cultivating the practice of Soul Wizardry, Wizard Weapons were the most powerful weapons. With the help of high level Wizard Weapons, one could easily cast various types of powerful Wizard Spells.

Master Aaron’s talent and skill in making equipment left no room for doubt. But it was different from Star Cards. Making Wizard Weapons required a large amount of Wizard Power and Mental Energy, and a deep understanding of Wizardry. Within a short period of time, it was not realistic for him to do it alone, unless…

On the Stele, there were many Wizard Spells to forcibly raise the power of Wizard Guards within a short period of time. But they were either fraught with danger or a heavy price needed to be paid in exchange. So without being certain, Yang Ling was not ready to use the aged Master Aaron as an experiment.
