Transmigrated Into the World of Magic and Swords

Chapter 319: Slandering Ren

As Ren's attack was about to hit the target, Draven appeared in front of Leoric and protected him with his magic.

'Stone Shield.'

A swirl of earthen energy materialized into a big stone shield before him.

However, its defensive power was not enough to withstand Ren's powerful attack, so it shattered into pieces instantly, causing the strike to hit him and send him flying into the air.

"Cough! Cough!" Blood splashed out of Draven's mouth as his body was smashed into the ground.

'He destroyed my Stone Shield magic?'

He previously thought he could block Ren's attack easily, but he was wrong.

He was utterly wrong!

Draven wiped the blood from the corner of his lips and rose to his feet. "What are you doing? Do you want to start a war between our organizations?"

"That should be my question," Ren replied casually. "Why are you protecting an enemy? Didn't you see what he had done to your organization members?"

One by one, members of the Crimson Sun Organization spoke ill of him. Of course, they said it in a low voice because Draven was their first elder.

Only Adrian and his supporters dared to criticize him openly because they were not afraid of him.

When Draven noticed that everyone was staring at him with disappointment, he gritted his teeth and glared coldly at Ren.

He was the first elder of their organization, yet a young man who had appeared out of nowhere dared to humiliate him in public, so flames of fury emerged in his heart.

'I need to do something.'

He carefully read the situation to turn the crowd against Ren.

"I suggest you all expel him." Ren believed Draven would bring a lot of trouble if he stayed in their organization because his character was dangerous.

"Shut up!" Draven roared angrily. "You are an outsider! You have no right to interfere in our matters!"

Leoric was enraged when all the elders and members of the Crimson Sun Organization appeared.

'Damnit!'

He cursed venomously in his heart.

'Everything is because of him! He has ruined everything!'

Things would have been different if Ren hadn't killed all of his subordinates, so his hatred toward him was big.

It was so big to the point that he no longer cared about his enmity toward Arcturus.

"You, red-haired man! Just you wait! I will return and kill you!" After threatening Ren, Leoric left their base.

"Hey, he is running away. Are you not going to chase him?" Ren didn't care about the threat because Leoric could not do anything to him, even with the help of his organization.

"You! Give me the token of authority now!" Draven roared.

"You are not worthy to hold this token." Ren refused instantly.

"What?! Are you planning to make yourself our leader and control us?" Since Ren refused to give him the token, he tried to make him look bad.

"I'm not interested in your organization," the Blue Moon Organization had already controlled half of the continent, so Ren had no desire to extend his influence any further.

"Then, hand over the token to me!" Draven shouted. "Prove that you really are not interested in our organization."

"I already told you, you don't deserve it," Ren said. "I will only give this token to someone worthy of leading the organization."

"Did you all see that? He refused to hand over the token! I'm sure he lied when he said he would give the token. He must be plotting something behind our backs. Maybe he wants to control us and turn us into his slaves." Draven tried to stir the crowd against Ren.

Scarlett's body trembled with anger upon hearing Draven's words.

And when some members cast doubtful glances at him, the fury inside her burned out of control.

Their previous leader begged Ren to lead them, yet here, they dared to slander and speak ill of him.

This was intolerable!

She could not stand this!

They should be on their knees and beg him to become their leader, not treating him like he was an evil person.

'Unforgivable! This is utterly unforgivable!'

When she was about to take out her sword and kill them all, Diana's furious voice rang out.

"You think your organization is great? You are all weaklings, and this organization is trash. Do you really think he would be interested in a worthless group full of fools?" due to how furious she was, Diana didn't bother to filter her words and just voiced out what she had in mind directly.

She didn't care if her words hurt their feelings, since they were the ones who started it.

Their expressions darkened.

They knew that Ren and his women had saved their fellow members, but they still could not hold back the burning anger inside them because insulting their organization was something they couldn't forgive, even when it came from someone who saved them.

"She said we were weaklings and our organization was trash?"

"Unforgivable! Does she think she can say whatever she wants just because they saved Renald and the others?"

"But he saved us earlier."

"It's two different things!"

"Exactly. It's two different things. And we didn't ask him to save us! He just did it on his own."

"To be honest, I disliked them the very moment they set foot in our place."

"Me too!"

"Then, what should we do to them?"

"Let's wait for the elders' instructions first. But we must make them pay for insulting us and our organization."

"I agree."

Some members expressed their displeasure while others stared at them coldly.

Draven's lips curled up into a grin when everything was going exactly the way he wanted.

'Yeah! Like that! Insult them! Attack them!'

He believed he could become the leader if Ren and his women left because he had saved Leoric's life.

"Such ungrateful people!" Scarlett's eyes gleamed with terrifying sharpness, and every single one of her words dripped with coldness.

"Admit it! You are planning to control us and turn us into your slaves, right?" Draven tried to add fuel to the fire.

Sigh…

Ren let out a deep sigh.

'I can't help but wonder if taking them under my wing is really the right decision.'

He knew that his women's words were sharp as knives, but they spoke that way because Draven and the others kept treating him like an evil man.

He believed any girlfriend would react the same way if her lover did something good for someone, only to have it repaid with betrayal and cruelty.

After all, all humans had feelings, so they would be angry, disappointed and defensive when the one they loved was treated unfairly.

"I'm speechless. You all saw what he just did, yet you let yourselves be swayed so easily. Can't you see he is manipulating you? If I walk away now, he will have you all under his control. I'm trying to protect the future of your organization here." At this moment, Ren felt disappointed but he could still control himself.

"Don't slander me!" Draven roared. "I'm doing this for our organization, not like you!"

Scarlett, who could not suppress her anger anymore, took out her sword. "Ren, let's just kill them!"

Diana also retrieved her daggers from her space ring. "They have crossed the line, Handsome. We must teach them a lesson."

Draven's lips curled up into a grin. "Do you see it, everyone? They've finally revealed their true colors!"

When Ren was about to say something, a voice suddenly rang out. "How dare you slander our Young Palace Master!"
