North America Gunman Detective

Chapter 744: 457 Departure Albuquerque_3

Although he too was wearing sunglasses, he seemed to bear a striking resemblance to the photo Jimmy had. To confirm it was him, Jimmy also got out of the car and followed into the supermarket.

The supermarket was quite crowded, with people wearing all kinds of clothes. A few dozen meters and a bit of time apart, by the time Jimmy walked in, he could no longer see the person. What a blow.

Jimmy bought a few bottles of drinks, snacks, and chocolate, carrying the bag out as he returned to his car to wait. With the air conditioning on and the radio playing, Jimmy casually pulled out a map to check the location.

Soon, three people came out, two men in suits carrying bags and holding a box. Jimmy kept his eyes fixed on the person in the middle, assured now that he was his target Scott. Got you.

The SUV restarted and hit the road again, entering the North Valley. Jimmy watched them park in front of a house, but only two got out; the driver remained in the car and did not move, and they did not take the things they had bought from the supermarket.

Jimmy drove past their vehicle, turned right at the intersection ahead, and stopped, turning his head to look towards their location. The distance was a bit far; he had to get out of the car.

Jimmy stood by the roadside, smoking while observing. They soon came out of the house with some items and placed them in the car. The vehicle started up, but Jimmy didn't move. He turned around and stood by the curb, smoking, waiting for the car to pass before he started tailing it.

They arrived at a factory adorned with a banner; the factory space was for sale and currently unoccupied. However, once the SUV entered, someone got out to pull the gates shut.

Jimmy parked his car at a distance and began to surveil the surrounding area. This was an industrial zone with few residential houses, several large factory-like buildings in the distance, but hardly anyone on the streets, just a few cars parked in front of some houses.

Checking the time, Jimmy took out some chocolate and ate a piece to replenish his energy. This factory complex was quite large, and from Jimmy's Heart Eye vision, he could not see the location of Scott and his men; they seemed to have gone deep inside. He would have to go in and take a look soon.

Jimmy carefully observed his surroundings, ensuring no one was paying attention to him, then he descended from his car and entered the factory area through a gap on the side. He hadn't walked far when he spotted his target.

Scott's SUV was inside the factory, and the three men were scattered around the factory space. It seemed like this was their previously prepared temporary hideout. Through Jimmy's vision, he could see that in addition to a bed, a room also contained a sofa and a table, and there were also chairs and tables in the open area of the factory.

Jimmy circled around to the side of the factory. Just as he reached the wall, all three men stood and moved towards the door. Soon after, the factory doors opened and two sedans drove in, stopping at the entrance.

This unexpected incident forced Jimmy to put his original assault plan on hold. Peeking around the corner, the men who descended from the cars looked rather unsavory, all bearing tattoos. The distance was too great to make out anything specific.

After a few words at the door, the men entered the factory. Two of them went into the room with the bed and sat on the couch, chatting. It was evident they were discussing something, using hand gestures while talking.

Jimmy felt frustrated. Initially there were only three men, an easy case, but now another six had arrived. Although still within manageable limits, causing a ruckus here could have significant repercussions.

Jimmy thought for a moment, then turned around and left the factory area, getting back into his car. The newcomers were likely to leave, all he had to do was wait a little longer.

It was evening by now, and Jimmy had seen no sign of the three cars leaving the factory. He grew increasingly agitated; surely, these people weren't planning to stay indefinitely?

Previously, Jimmy had planned a spook-them-out tactic to stir Scott into action, thus allowing Jimmy to follow, but this "snake" was overly cautious. Just a whisper of an FBI investigation had him running off to a safe house, then pulling out this many bodyguards for protection. If it weren't for Jimmy's persistence, anyone else might have been floundering by now.
