North America Gunman Detective

Chapter 508: 363 is not over yet_2

Jimmy nodded, "No worries, go ahead, I've got this place. Thanks, brother."

The Court Police shook hands with Jimmy and turned to leave the villa. The few Court Police brothers standing outside also got into their car and left. Although it was annoying, Jimmy understood them. Charles had mentioned that there was a support squad outside, but that squad wasn't just supporting their group and couldn't always be here.

Since they had left, Jimmy was free. As long as Big Chin didn't come downstairs to cause trouble, with Jimmy guarding the first floor, no one else could definitely get in.

Jimmy divided the food into two halves, taking the larger portion for himself and taking the rest up to the third floor. Big Chin already knew about Charles's ordeal and had no objections to Jimmy's request to keep away from the ground and corners; he was someone who knew the times, or perhaps, someone who feared death.

Jimmy returned to the first floor and kept an eye on the outside, ensuring that no one came near the villa. It had to be said, this gang's power was really strong. Yesterday's raid team, today's sniper, all were not the usual gang arrangements. Moreover, Charles had said that their assassin had been brought in from overseas. These people were not locals; this was even more incredible. Many large gangs could smuggle people, but it was not so easy to safely smuggle so many people at once.

It was going to be an exhausting day. Damn it, Jimmy cursed internally. He had only slept an hour or two this afternoon. If Charles didn't arrange someone else to take over, he needed to hold out at least until noon tomorrow. Jimmy hadn't tried staying alert on Heart Eye Observation and watching out for an attack for such a long duration before.

The tense evening arrived, and Jimmy noticed a person from the seaside behind the villa. He seemed like a regular beach tourist, moving along the shoreline without directly heading towards the villa where Jimmy was. After observing for a while, Jimmy let him go, seeing nothing unusual.

Concerned for safety, Jimmy hadn't turned on the lights since nightfall. Big Chin also obediently sat in the corner on the third floor. Jimmy could see him occasionally lying straight on the floor, seemingly not lightly tormented.

By 10 p.m., Jimmy was already feeling tired. Having Heart Eye activated for extended periods was draining on his energy. Just as he was worrying, a person walked past from the side. After walking normally for a bit, he quickly approached the villa, came to the side, and first tried to quietly open a window. But the window had been sealed beforehand; unless he broke it violently, there was no other way in.

Jimmy looked around and seeing only this person, he kept his eyes on him. The intruder slowly circled to the back door. Although Jimmy had locked it, such a handle lock clearly couldn't stop the intruder. He used a tool to unlock it, gently pulled the door, but didn't fully open it. Then he pulled out a handgun from his coat and slowly opened the door and entered.

Jimmy stowed his Glock back into its holster and switched to a revolver, then changed his position. Once in place, he shouted, "Drop your weapon, FBI."

His command didn't have the expected effect, instead, it attracted a volley of bullets. With no more to be said, Jimmy took advantage of his shifting position and firing to shoot twice, one shot to the chest and one to the head. It seemed the intruder's reaction was very fast. Although he hesitated a bit when hit in the chest, he dodged the headshot, which seemed to graze past his scalp from Jimmy's point of view.

Jimmy quickly fired two more shots, finally ending his life. After checking around the villa to ensure no one else was approaching, Jimmy walked over, kicked away the handgun that had fallen to the ground into a corner. He turned on a flashlight to look at the body; it seemed to be of Latin American descent, but only his head was bleeding. Lifting the clothing with the barrel of his gun, he saw a Bullet-Proof Vest under the pullover. No wonder the first round of shots hadn't incapacitated him. Jimmy restored the clothing and left the body there temporarily, then called Charles, who had left in the afternoon for treatment and was surely in the hospital at this time.

Jimmy: "Charles, just killed another one, he sneaked in through the back door. But it's strange, this time there was only one person, and he was wearing a Bullet-Proof Vest. Any updates on your intel? What's the situation now?"

Charles: "I have sent someone to investigate, but there are no results yet. Our people will be in place by tomorrow morning. Hang in there tonight, thanks, Jimmy."

Jimmy sighed: "Okay, I got it. Until your people arrive tomorrow, everyone is an enemy, right? Also, how should we handle this body? Should I call the NYPD to come and take it away?"

Charles firmly said, "Yes, don't hold back. Just leave the body there for now; I'm not sure if the people coming are safe. Jimmy, be careful."

Jimmy: "Understood, you get some rest, good night."

Jimmy hung up the phone and returned to his spot in the corner to continue sitting on the floor. This was a good location unless someone used a large caliber sniper rifle to shoot through the walls from the outside. Under normal conditions, it was safe here. Of course, bombing the house with rockets was an exception; nobody could withstand that.

In the early hours of the morning, the person who had walked the beach a few times before came again. Jimmy glanced at him then shifted his position, puzzled by this person who kept walking back and forth along the shoreline all night long.
