It turns out that the .44 Magnum Bullet is indeed much more powerful than the 9mm Parabellum Bullet, but there's definitely something wrong with this guy—getting hit by 12 bullets and still alive and standing, what kind of person is he?

Jimmy didn't have time to change bullets, so he held the gun with both hands and exchanged two punches with the man, then lifted his leg to kick the middle-aged man, stepping back two steps himself.

Being shot definitely had an effect on the middle-aged man; his bodily control had significantly decreased during the exchange with Jimmy, far less agile than when he was fighting both Rodney and the Priest earlier. Unexpectedly, he got kicked by Jimmy, his body swayed, and Rodney and the others rushed over at this moment.

Rodney was at the front, another Priest at the back, both wielding short swords and stabbing towards the middle-aged man from behind. The middle-aged man, swayed by Jimmy's kick, wasn't able to dodge in time, and Rodney struck him from behind. He immediately turned around to block, punching Rodney's arm with a cracking sound, making Rodney grunt and step back a few paces, while the other Priest stepped in to continue the fight with the middle-aged man.

Rodney's previous stab had some success; the opponent was now facing away from Jimmy, with a bleeding wound at his back soaking his clothes.

Jimmy took the opportunity to holster his revolver from the left hand, drew out a bunch of bullets from his pocket to reload the revolver in his right hand, moved sideways a couple of steps to realign his shooting angle and avoid hitting the Priest, then fired all the bullets again into the middle-aged man's back.

The recoil from the .44 Magnum Bullet was incredibly strong. Using an 1875 to fire in such rapid succession required immense control to suppress the muzzle jump of the revolver, but fortunately, he was used to it, all six bullets hitting the middle-aged man's torso from behind.

A scream of agony was heard. The middle-aged man had overestimated himself; he could indeed fend off bullets to some extent, but Jimmy's 1875 came with a certain demon-breaking attribute, coupled with the extended cartridge of the Magnum Bullet and the mere few meters of distance, he couldn't block any of them—all bullets penetrated his body.

The Priest in front did not waste Jimmy's efforts—the middle-aged man's movements had completely distorted after being shot, and since Jimmy's previous six bullets had shredded his fists' back, he could no longer fend off the sharp short swords.

The Priest swiftly swung his sword several times across the middle-aged man's arms and body, cutting multiple gashes, then moved to his side, punched the injured arm with his left hand, and slashed with the right-handed short sword across his belly, finally stabbing it into his waist.

In pain, the middle-aged man swung his fists, prompting the Priest to hold onto the sword hilt and retreat, withdrawing the short sword from the body, then stepping back a few paces to observe the middle-aged man's movements.

The middle-aged man staggered, clutching his waist, swaying slightly in place, took two steps, and fell to the ground.

Jimmy had reloaded the bullets by now, but he didn't fire again, rather, he was stunned by what unfolded in front of him.

The fallen middle-aged man mumbled something that was unclear, then stopped moving altogether, and faint smoke began to rise from his body. His originally robust physique now appeared malnourished and frail, with his discolored hands returning to a normal skin tone.

This all happened very quickly. Jimmy switched on his Heart Eye Vision, and the smoke rising from the middle-aged man's body gathered above, and several white dots reappeared.

Having encountered such Resentful Spirit-like entities before, Jimmy raised his hand and fired several shots at the white dots. The gathered smoke dispersed once more, slowly dissolving and vanishing into the air.
