Chapter 1258: Creativity

The two happily enjoyed their lunch.

After Chen Yang paid at the front desk, they returned to the furniture market together.

The items they purchased in the morning were already loaded onto the truck by this time.

Chen Yang returned to the market, and they could set off immediately to return to Liuhua Village.

"Just leave your car here and ride with me. I'll bring you back later," Chen Yang said as he opened his car door.

Tan Jing initially wanted to go on her BMW motorcycle.

But hearing what Chen Yang said, she quickly put down her helmet and got into Chen Yang's car after agreeing.

Then they drove towards Liuhua Village, accompanied by two large trucks filled with office equipment.

Due to the slow speed of the trucks, it took nearly more than an hour to get from the county to Liuhua Village.

Back in the village, Chen Yang headed straight for the lawn where the temporary office site was being built in the morning.

Upon arrival, he saw that the first layer of the office site had already risen from the ground.

Although it was made of cardboard and steel structures, the construction process was very simple.

However, it was large, with six or seven rooms, plus a very large meeting room.

Such a large cardboard building erected in just one morning was indeed incredibly fast.

Chen Yang was slightly amazed and then found an empty spot on the lawn to park his car.

Seeing this, the trucks followed suit and stopped.

The drivers jumped down from their seats and asked Chen Yang if they had reached the destination.

Chen Yang nodded, "Yes, we're here. Just unload here. Besides the conference table that needs to be assembled in the meeting room, leave the rest outside."

The temporary office wasn't completely finished at this point.

So Chen Yang was in no hurry to move all the office supplies inside, preferring to leave them outside until the interior was more ready.

"Alright, let's start working then."

The driver nodded and immediately got to work.

He began unloading everything from the truck.

"Tan Jing, can you keep an eye on things here for me? I have something to attend to, and I'll be back shortly," Chen Yang said, turning to Tan Jing.

Tan Jing nodded, "Alright, go ahead."

"Mmm, thanks," Chen Yang thanked, then headed over to the village office from the lawn.

When he arrived at the office, he coincidentally found Director Wang and others discussing issues related to the next day's construction in the conference room.

Chen Yang stood outside and listened briefly, sensing it was about the visiting walkways within the park, and the technical team had a certain disagreement.

"Hey, Mr. Chen, you're back. Perfect timing to weigh in on an ongoing discussion," Director Wang called Chen Yang in to arbitrate as he suddenly noticed him standing outside.

Chen Yang didn't hold back and stepped right in.

"Mr. Chen, everyone has already drafted the specific construction plan for the park today. Now the issue is about the visitor walkways; there are differing opinions."

"There are two options: the first is the conventional ground-level visit."

"That involves dividing various paths within the park. This method is simple and safe."

"The other option is using aerial walkways, constructing steel-structure paths above the park to provide an overhead view."

"Though innovative, this option is slightly more costly, and the safety isn't completely assured. What do you think, Mr. Chen?"

Director Wang, with a smile, shared their differences.

Having heard parts from outside, Chen Yang now, with Director Wang's introduction, understood the issue better.

"Hmm..." Chen Yang pondered for a moment and then asked Director Wang, "Which option do you think is better?"

Director Wang paused, then answered, "Being conservative, I favor the first option. After all, it's safe, cost-effective, and it's what everyone else does, so visitors won't find it odd."

As Director Wang finished, just as Chen Yang was about to state his point of view, someone around his age suddenly spoke up, "Mr. Chen, while Director Wang makes good points, that approach is outdated. The tourism industry now needs innovation, and we can't stick to the conventional path."

Hearing this, Chen Yang turned to look at the speaker.

The person appeared young, embodying the characteristic youthful drive for innovation.

"Well, both of your points are valid, but what I'm pondering is if we can utilize both methods simultaneously?" Chen Yang mused, touching his chin.

Director Wang and the technical team were all waiting to see which side Chen Yang would support.

Nobody expected Chen Yang to suggest such a line in response.

Everyone was taken aback until Director Wang cautiously asked Chen Yang, "Uh... Mr. Chen, having both methods, how would that work?"

"Yes, Mr. Chen, we don't quite grasp your idea," the young man was equally puzzled.

Chen Yang smiled and said, "Literally, ground structures with traditional methods, yet also build aerial pathways for an overhead view!"

"Moreover, here's a suggestion: if we're going aerial, why not set up a dozen cable car routes to traverse through the scenic area?"

"This not only introduces innovation but can also offer the park an additional revenue stream. Director Wang, what do you think?"

Chen Yang's proposal left the technical team utterly astonished.

Not because of how feasible the solution was, but purely due to the surprise of the idea.

The plan was indeed viable! And it was strikingly original!

Riding a cable car, traversing through the jungle, directly witnessing the authentic lives of wild animals, just imagining it aroused a desire to buy tickets.

"Um... Mr. Chen, your suggested method does seem feasible! However, in terms of investment, it might require more," Director Wang responded after processing the information.

Chen Yang understood at this moment that funding issues had Director Wang somewhat constrained.

With limited funds, many areas had to proceed under low standards.

But even amidst a shortage of funds, Chen Yang was unwilling to settle, because he believed that if a project were to be executed, it had to be grand and novel.

Otherwise, if done hastily, even if completed, it wouldn't attract many tourists.

"Director Wang, you don't need to worry about investments; I'll figure that out. What you must do is try to implement novel and fun methods for construction so that the investment is meaningful," Chen Yang stated earnestly to Director Wang.

Upon hearing this, Director Wang understood.

"Alright, we'll proceed by your direction, Mr. Chen. If no unexpected issues arise, the detailed blueprint for the entire park should be available tonight, and we can officially start construction tomorrow," Director Wang said.

Chen Yang was thrilled to hear this news.

"Great, thank you, Director Wang,"

Chen Yang expressed his gratitude.

"Not a problem, it's in my job description," Director Wang chuckled and, along with the technical team, went back to discussing and drafting.
