"Maybe to the right?" Alexa said while moving around her AI Core, but even like that, she couldn't get a feel for where she had left Main Core. She was sure that she had given him a piece too when she assigned the Consciousness Stream branches.

"I don't feel anything Alexa, are you sure?" Glory said shaking her head.

Alexa… didn't really want to do this, but she was getting out of options. So against her better judgment…She moved her AI Core to her arm, then to hand and made it surface into her palm.

"Can you feel Main Core here?" Alexa asked; the small orb had a metallic luster, unlike how most [Cores] looked; this one was obviously made out of metal. Alan's Core and Glory's Core had been more like a marble made out of a gem or pretty mineral.

While the AI Core was more of an orb made out of metal, the interior was a complex lattice of nanotechnology too, so she really didn't want it near other people, lest they notice.

"....Is that your Core?" Glory asked as Alexa felt for what could very well be the fifth time today, a wave of Mana bombarding her.

"No," Alan said shaking his head, "I don't know about yours, but my Core doesn't look like that, at all. It looks closer to a precious gem, and it isn't a perfect circle either."

Alexa nodded, Alan's [Core] wasn't a perfect circle, it was more like in an oval form if anything, unlike Alexa's perfect circle of AI Core.

"Either way, that doesn't have anything either." Glory said, shaking her head, "What is the problem that you say anyway? Sulking?"

Right, sulking!

"Main Core has been sulking lately, he used to always be in the back saying something whenever Alexa did something." Alexa said re absorbing the Ai Core and….deconstructing it, making sure there wasn't anything out of place, and remaking it once more within her [Brain].

She did notice that her [Mana] count went down a couple digits, but didn't felt the Consciousness Stream node that she had given to Main Core ignite again either.

"But now he doesn't answer!" Alexa said turning to Glory, she could feel the tears forming in her eyes, "He isn't around! And Ale and Alexandra said they fixed him! But they are tired and eepy, so Alexa can't ask them either!"

She had checked, Alexandra was still sleeping, and Ale looked comfortable too…so Alexa didn't want to wake them up either.

Glory did seem to wince at that, but shook her head and turned to look at Alan, "What do you think?" And ask only that.

"I… don't know, honestly. We haven't been Core Users for long, and neither of us really know what we are capable of." Alan said, sighing, "I don't know about you, but I am sure my Core Power will never move in any meaningful way that would allow me to help Alexa."

Alexa also knew that, that was why she asked Glory!

"I think…I think that perhaps this sounds more like a problem made by a Mind Core," Glory said slowly and measurely, "Like that girl we found out the other day….or perhaps [The Scrambler], have you been near either?"

"Well, I have…but…Meli-Meli wouldn't…She wouldn't hurt Main Core, right?" Alexa said…confused, she wasn't sure if Meli-Meli would, she wasn't bad!

She was…well, she was? But if she was…

"Is Meli-Meli bad?" Alexa asked, turning to the other two kids.

"Isn't she bad?" Glory suddenly said tilting her head to the side, "She did bad stuff, right?"

Wasn't… wasn't that more or less what Alexa had asked? Why was she asking it back?

"....What…" Alan said confused, "I mean, she is a bad trigger obviously, but…that doesn't make her bad per se. So long she accepts help from the state and the correct Healers then she should be fine. How long ago did she trigger anyway?"

"She triggered….I dunno," Alexa said shrugging, "Alexa knew she was a [Core User] but Meli-Meli was taken by some weird people after she made Alexa's classmates attack her."

"Wait, this wasn't her trigger event?" Alan asked, wincing, "This makes it bad then if she was taken in before…she must have been briefed and cuffed, her Core Power should have been dampened, and she should have been in a facility to help her level out her Core and stabilize….But if she is out…"

"If she is out…?" Glory said inching forward Alan.

"....Then she escaped," Alan said with a sigh, "That would make her a Rogue Core User, and by definition a Villain."

"Then why did she attack Main Core and Alexa?" Alexa asked, confused, "If she is bad, then shouldn't she be Alexa's ally?"

"But you are good." Glory said before Alan could say anything, "That's why she is bad, because she attacked you and the school."

"But attacking Alexa wouldn't make her bad, but good right?" Alexa said back, that was how it worked at least, "A [Hero] attacks [Villains] and [Minions] right? Then shouldn't Meli-Meli be good?"

"But a Hero doesn't attack civilians or installations that house kids," Glory said, shaking her head, "That makes her bad."

"Wait a second," Alan suddenly said speaking ahead of Alexa who was about to fight back that statement, "First, what is wrong with you?"

And said so, pointing at Glory, "You are asking things that you already should know or infer," Glory already knew those things? Then why was she asking them again?

"....Oh…is it that obvious then?" Glory said, sighing, "I hoped the effect wouldn't be that big."

"What effect?" Alan asked once again, "Is it the Core?"

"The [Core] should be fine, Alexa made sure that all the correct procedures worked first!" Alexa said from the side helpfully while nodding.

"No, my mind…is going bad…or not. Slowing down? Something like that," Glory said, nodding, "Not Alexa's fault, but more of my own?"

"Slowing down? Is your psyche degrading?" Alan asked worried.

"That! Yes." Glory said nodding, "Ale….told me and now that I am aware I can sort of sense it? So I am trying to get used to it."

"Ale did?" Alexa asked confused, "What did she say?"

"That you made me Human," Glory said smiling, "And that it was ironic how my wish would be my punishment."

Alexa…somehow didn't thought that Ale would really do that, she was the one named mean one, but even so. Ale wasn't a bad gal, "I don't think that anything that Alexa did would make that though." Alexa needed to defend herself for now, though.

"....Is it the emotional dampeners." Alan said sighing, "Most of our modifications is what allowed our brain and minds to work like they do, I can keep most of mine and work to stabilize them manually, but Glory doesn't have a way to do so."

Was it that?

"Alexa did remove a bunch of thingies that weren't in the base human [Blueprint], but would they have such a big effect?" Alexa asked, tilting her head.

"I don't…. It's more like my mind doesn't want to mind." Glory said tilting her head sideway too, "Like…there is this wall, but I kind of want to paint in it instead of break it? Does that make sense?"

"It does not," "Alexa understands!" The answers were opposite to each other.

"Then...Can I stop pretending?" Glory asked turning to Alan, "It's...I am keeping me like this by a thread, and it feels like I shouldn't."

"It's fine," Alan said nodding to Glory, "I'll help you out and try to help."

So Glory nodded at him, closed her eyes, and Alexa felt as if Glory's mana wavelenght synched with her Core and a second later her eyes had changed from the sharp ones she had before to...a more relaxed ones.

"Well….It should even out," Alan said wistfully, "I hope…but if not…I may need to find a way to make a manual trigger for myself, I can't let Glory be the only one like that…We will need to make a video or something explaining it too…"

"What will we say?" Glory asked, looking at Alan with stars in her eyes. "Can I be on it?"

"Can Alexa be on it?" Alexa asked from the side too, she also wanted to star! Or to be a star! She could be both!

"....Oh god, they multiply…" Alan said, sighing, "To think that you were crying a few minutes ago…."

"Alexa did not cry!" Alexa said puffing her cheeks, she…well she may have cried a little, but it was because Main Core wasn't coming out!

"I did not cry!" Glory also defended herself, "I was merely making sure my eyes were hydrated!"

"So it is for that!" Alexa said, nodding, "I knew that it was weird how [Humans] said that they cried when sad; if they had the sad, they only needed to eat a Mango Candy!"

Alexa knew she was right, this proved it!

"....Okay, both of you stop it." Alan said, looking at the watch, "We need to think about how to explain this."

"I mean….why not just say it was the Meli-Meli girl?" Glory said raising her hand, "She already messed up Alexa."

"Meli-Meli isn't a bad girl!" Alexa said shaking her head, "She just wants to play!"

If she didn't want to play why was she using toys then? Checkmate!

"That could work out, Alexa. What kind of Core Power does this girl have? Also, I am not calling her like that. It sounds….weird," Alan said turning to Alexa while patting Glory's head, that looked nice….

"Meli-Meli can take the feels!" Alexa said, nodding at herself and imagining how much work would be needed to make an auto patter for herself, perhaps growing a third arm on her back? One that arched? "She can also inject those feels in others and use those as a way to control people? Kind of? Alexa isn't sure, she dumped a ton of feels once into Alexa, and it felt weird."

"....Explain these 'feels' what do you mean by that? Thoughts? Orders?" Alan said taking his other hand and scratching Glory behind the ears…..it made Alexa's Catgirl Core that was hidden in the archive tingle.

"Like….how when Alexa eats Mango she gets Happy!" Alexa said trying to think about it, "Meli-Meli can take those feels from people and give them to others? Kind of?"

Alexa wasn't sure how to explain, or how that ended with the skill to control people, how did one control people by taking the feels out?

"Emotions?" Alan said, stopping his scratching and earning a glare from Glory, "She can take the emotions? Like joy, sadness, and such?"

Oh, right, Main Core had said that…She had a database somewhere about those feels….

"Yes!" Alexa said nodding opening the file, neither her or Main Core had taken to keep updating that database, when Alexa's emotional center got developed in one of the latter updates they stopped going to this thing… "Alexa isn't sure how Meli-Meli managed to make those zombies with this power though."

"And her full name?" Alan said, pulling out his cell phone and using his free hand to pat Glory, who smiled once more, Alexa also wanted pats!

"Meli-Meli's name is Melisandra Singh something something," Alexa said going to the database she had of people, "She also said that they had taken her papa and mama."

".....Oh crap…" Alan said as he read something, "This….may be bad."

"How so?" Alexa asked, sitting beside Alan; perhaps this way, she could get some pats?

"See this?" Alan said showing the screen to both Alexa and Glory.

".....Recuperation center?" Glory said, tilting her head, "How is that bad?"

"There is a recuperation thingy? Then Alexa doesn't need to waste biomass and energy and could just go there to recuperate?" Alexa said, confused, "How is that a bad thing?"

"..... It's like there are two Alexas now…Should I just euthanize myself too?" Alan said looking at the ceiling, "No, father said that a man should brave any circumstance."

"What's euthanize?" Glory asked from the side looking at Alexa, "Is it tasty?"

"Alexa doesn't know, but it sounds tasty." Alexa answered, "Main Core! Search if euthanize is tasty!"

"[Prompt recieved…searching….Result: To put a living entity to death.]"

"It doesn't sound tasty, Main Core said that it was to put someone to death," Alexa said shaking her head, she wasn't sure if the death thing was tasty either.

"Then denied," Glory said puffing her chest, "Alan is my future husband he can't die before we marry and have a hundred kids!"

"Pfft-" Alan suddenly choked on…he wasn't eating or drinking anything, why had he choked? "....Okay, I'm not euthanizing myself, but lobotomizing myself."

"That….sounds tasty? Kind of?" Alexa said, confused about the new word.

"The answer to what that is, is becoming someone as smart as you two, so there is no need to search." Alan said before Alexa could say anything.

"Main Core! Search the lobotomize thing!"

"[Query recieved, searcching…….result: To reduce the mental or emotional capacity or ability to function.]"

Rude, that sounded rude.

"Alexa can function at the perfect capability both mentally and emotionally!" Alexa said hmping, "Besides she hasn't done any lobotomize thingies on herself or in Glory!"

She hadn't!

Anyone that said the opposite was a dirty cheapstake lier!

If anything, Ale had done the thing! So Alexa was innocent!

"It sounds like it could taste good with apple pie," Glory said from the side, smiling, "Maybe with Jazmin Tea?"

Jazmin had Tea? Alexa hadn't met any Jazmine! She would need to remember to make Tea with the next Jazmine she meet.

"....I feel like I really need to stop these enhancements; you both are going to make me regret keeping them up," Alan said from the middle, sighing, "Well….Enough about lobotomies and euthanasia."

Alan sighed while standing up and moving to the front, "We need to record a video…find a way to make a trigger so I can turn on my mental enhancement at need….so much work, so little time."

Alexa had many plans for these situations, so she raised a hand to the skies and proclaimed her plans!

Her very well-thought-out plans!

Main Core bring the plans!

"[No plans found.]"

….That would do!

"So, Alexa has a plan, has many plans even!" Alexa said when no plan came to mind, "But for the sake of this situation, Alexa needs Glory and Alan to depict what needs to be said and the goals, so she can narrow her plans!"

"....We need to get an excuse for the diminished mental state Glory is, and maybe an excuse for why I have been able to retain some degree of my intellect," Alan stated first.

"And a way to make sure Papa and Mama aren't angry…and one that makes me look digninifisaied." Glory added, that was important.

Alexa could get behind Glory wanting to look digninifisaied, that was almost as important as Alexa looking cute, it was a natural order of things.

"Also a way to achieve that within…three minutes," Alan said looking at his watch.

Three minutes? There wasn't any time!

"CRADDLE person! Give me the correct plan for this situation!" Alexa said pointing at a random wall that had no evidence of having a CRADDLE person in it.

"These can be achieved by the use of Lady Alexa Core Power to disguise herself as Student Gloria Blackthorn, then we merely need a script for Lady Alexa to follow, should I provide one?" The CRADDLE person said as she materialized in the way of a wavy image that was called holopro something?

"....Of course, a Hologram would have the answer…." Alan said sighing.

"Look look! There is a little person!" While Glory pulled at Alan… hadn't she seen the CRADDLE person before though?

"See?" Alexa said puffing her chest out…because she had seen other people do that in these type of situation, "There is always a plan for it!"

Alexa was right after all, now all they needed was…was….wait, would Alexa need a new blueprint of Glory? She wasn't sure if the previous one would work…well, all she needed was a little nom from Glory.

"Now all we need is for Alexa to nom Glory a itty little bitty bit." Alexa said nodding preparing her nomskers for this sacred mission. "It will not hurt, Alexa promises."

Alexa would say nothing about the confused cute face that Glory did or the confused not cute look that Alan did.

Because that would be rude, "We don't have time after all…" All that Alexa would say was that noming Glory would be kind of fun…
