Looking up, overhead lay a sea of burning stars, with a canopy interwoven in red and purple, flames and mushroom clouds interacting like gods of the universe pouring their wrath upon each other. Multi-colored lights crisscrossed the sky, erupting intensely, white, purple, red, blue, as if someone in the sky kept switching the lights.

Each flicker of Divine Light was like a thunderbolt, followed by thunderous echoes from afar, shaking the soul. Whistles, bursts, roars, explosions filled the air, like the drums of war roaring ahead, weaving into the death knell of doomsday, pounding against the young man's chest.

"Follow me! Remember to activate the radiation protection mode!"

As he turned his head, the Sergeant, clad in Iron Armor, had already leaped three zhang high, like a flea quickly jumping away.

Huangfu Yi looked around, realizing they stood in a deep crater. Apparently, it was caused by the box-like War Remains Repair Chamber behind them.

Nonetheless, to cause such a deep crater, just where did they drop in from...

"Activate... radiation protection mode."

Huangfu Yi dared not stay long, attempting to mimic the Sergeant's movements. Though still unfamiliar, the armor he wore seemed to have an Artifact Spirit accompanying it, light as a feather, even aiding his strength. With a slight exertion, it carried Huangfu Yi out of the crater, plunging him into the panoramic battlefield view.

Huangfu Yi could see a city built along the riverside, engulfed in flames and shrouded in smoke, like a steel jungle. In the atmosphere, thick with smoke and dust, visibility was nearly zero, and strange lights floated densely, like a swarm of fireflies, or like ghost lights in a graveyard.
