Anna had indeed thought that things were going too smoothly.

As they say, no plan survives contact with the enemy.

The moment they reached deep enough into the Mechanoids Territory, just when they were about to reach the Mechanical Tree…

This happened.

Out of nowhere and completely unexpectedly.

Anna was someone who always planned things based on the novel, knew what to do most of the time, and could even accurately predict certain things.

But she also knew how unpredictable things could become and how much it was necessary for her to grow stronger so she could rapidly adapt and overcome these challenges.

The moment she started to mess with the main story was that she began to change it as well, and also, the more dangerous it became as a result.

However, this world, Bestia, was never registered in the novel, even less these robots; it was all new information for her, things she couldn't predict anymore with an omniscient point of view.

A new world.

A new threat.

And new…

Constellations.

[The Cosmic Throne {King of Steel} is satisfied by the performance of their Avatar and is looking forward to your prompt death.]

[The Cosmic Throne {Mechanical Librarian} nods while seeing their newly created Avatar, saying that it should be good enough to kill a crow.]

[The Cosmic Throne {Mother of Artificial Life} says that the weakness of the flesh will never be overcome, and that metal and electricity are the true lifeblood and what all living beings must strive for.]

["Embrace the coldness of steel or prepare yourselves to be reduced to the lowest form your matter can take before being synthetized into useful fuel."]

"As if I would lose to some wannabe venerable piece of junk!"

Anna gritted her teeth as her mouth was filled with water, and so were her lungs. She quickly released it all out, unleashing an explosion of air that lifted her up from the depths of the ocean.

The powerful ocean was composed of great quantities of Sea Dao Ki, which was dense and strong enough to make most mortals drown instantly without even being able to swim.

This was one of the reasons why people in the world of Bestia feared the seas so much and why those that didn't cultivate never dared to brave the waves.

Yet…

RUMBLE!

Anna lifted herself up, fighting the ocean's immense pressure and quickly emerging from within its dark depths, facing the robot that had punched her down with eyes full of anger.

In that nanosecond she glanced at the robot, she analyzed its structure, which was annoyingly simple for how powerful it was.

The robot wasn't bigger than three meters in height; it had a slender body, with lanky arms and legs, pointy metallic fingers, and a crescent moon-shaped head made of silver with two glowing blue eyes.

And behind it, there were rings, rings made out of Heavenly Ki and Electromagnetic Energy, constantly releasing lightning of silver color, encompassing the entire monster's body.

These rings were the representation that this machine, that this Mechanoid, had ascended, achieving the level of a Venerable…

"So this is the epitome of their evolution and adaptability…" Anna thought within that moment. "I can tell why there are Constellations that are machines now. imagining this happening in other worlds… Their level of adaptability and evolution is simply too high."

This was one of the machines' greatest advantages, their ability to self-actualize incredibly quickly. It didn't matter if they couldn't produce Mana, Ki, or possess other supernatural abilities at all.

They could simply absorb these energies, mine the resources that contain them, kill those that possess them, refine, synthesize, and then take new forms using these materials.

And then… in that moment, they can suddenly harbor even such powers, constantly evolving, improving, becoming better.

More perfect.

But that wasn't everything; these robots were also the Avatars of these three Robot Constellations!

"So you are back. An expected outcome. The blow I gave you was strong, but your body possesses a great level of molecular density."

The robot instantly spoke with a calm, even friendly voice, as if it were some sort of helper bot from her planet or something, making it even more disturbing.

"No matter. I will simply have to punch you more until your molecular density is of no problem. I have already calculated the best movements to go against you based on the footage from our drones." It spoke with that friendly voice again. "Please, stand still while you are eliminated."

FLASH!

In a moment, it disappeared where it was, appearing above Anna and hitting her head with both of its arms with immense force, to the point it created shockwaves and ripples through space.

"Calculation error. It seems you have survived that."

"Oh yeah?"

However, this time, Anna wasn't thrown into the sea again. Her body overflowed as she activated several defensive Skills to reinforce her defenses, such as [Hardened Warrior Instincts], [Steel Body], [Warrior Princess Physique], and even…

RUMBLE!

"Electricity? I see you're trying to interfere with my inner workings, but that won't work. I am a new type of robot."

"I can tell."

She even activated [Divine Thunder God Body: Raijin's Embodiment] right away, fully knowing that this could give her a great edge against mechanical beings whose energy was electromagnetic energy.

Indeed, the robot said it didn't affect him, but it wasn't like it would never work either. Through a combination of other Skills and her techniques, Anna was aiming for that the moment he touched her.

The skies trembled again; the forces of the machines and Anna's army glanced into the skies, noticing the tremendous battle that was occurring.

"Your molecular density has increased even more, and for that I praise you. It seems that all the preparations that my creators have done for me will be utilized accordingly."

"Ngh…!"

Anna felt her hands covered in bruises and bleeding; even with her armor and her aura, this monster's attacks pierced through all, as if its blows also released shockwaves that ignored her physical defenses and hit her body directly.

The worst part was that he was incredibly tough too; she had unleashed enough power to shatter a mountain if she wanted, but the robot had yet to even gain a single scratch.

Whatever metal this was made of… it seemed indestructible.

Her bones had yet to break, though, but cracks could be felt. She gritted her teeth as she quickly activated the power of her Heart of Hope in conjunction with her Cursed Demonic Seals at once.

FLUOOOSH!

As her Dual Aura of Demonic Cursed Seals and the Heart of Hope emerged from her body and then rapidly converged into a chaotic nebula of various light and bright lights, the robot responded.

Its shoulders shapeshifted, metal constantly clanking, separating and unifying, as it manifested two massive cannons, gathering his energies and firing two beams in front of Anna in that nanosecond their fists clashed and separated.

"I knew you would do that."

Anna summoned her Golden Dragon Shield, instantly taking both beams in an instant. The dragon roared back, unleashing the energy it took back to the monster, manifesting into a massive golden dragon.

"ROOOAARRR!"

"Interesting."

As the robot tried to escape but was quickly caught by Anna's Domain acting as walls that made him bounce back to where he was before, the beam reached him, blowing him up into the skies!

BOOOMMM!!!

As smoke slowly dissipated, Anna rushed down as the robot emerged from amidst the cloud of smoke, its eyes glowing.

"It was an interesting experience. Unfortunately your tool was unable to harm me."

"I know."

Anna swung her swords down, all of them at once, all while her Nameless Axe-Sword activated one of its abilities.

"{Rampage}"

Anna swung down the massive weapon towards the robot, trying to cleave through its hard shell with all she had, her weapons following up with their own abilities and techniques. Notably was Gram's {Demonic Dragon Blade Mode}, which absorbed Anna's lifeforce to strengthen her attack power.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

"Hmm?"

The robot for the first time was slightly surprised at what happened; Anna's consecutive attacks came one after another almost more mechanically than robots themselves.

Twelve attacks were unleashed, and that was an absolute certainty; the robot was unable to evade, as the nanosecond it tried, another blow would instantly hit its head, arms, legs, torso, and joints.

This was the power of the simple-named, yet incredibly strong Rampage, an ability that Heracles himself used to fight the mighty foes he was told to defeat to prove himself as a true hero.

[You have activated the Skill [Nameless Axe-Sword: Heracles' Twelve Labors Manifestation (SSS)] Special Ability: {Rampage}!]

[Rush towards your foes and unleash dozens of crazed consecutive blows, making sure to tear them to shreds with your brute force. Once activated, it moves your body automatically towards the nearest foe and attacks them 12 times, Dealing up to 400% damage per Attack, which ignore 5% of their defenses with an additional +5% with each blow. You restore 50% of the damage dealt as HP. Cost: 15.000+ MP.]

Her Health was instantly back to full in that moment, although the Ki Cost was a whopping 30k, her Ki was so high right now, and it restored so quickly within a Murim World that she didn't mind.

And spammed the hell out of this ability to her heart's contents!

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

"Nnnggh?!"

The robot began to complain as it was unable to escape Anna's Domain, which combined with this consecutive technique to the point every angle it tried to calculate, and escape became a new attack that struck it down.

"Incapable of calculating an escape route. Counterattack impossible due to constant attacks."

Although no cracks had yet appeared, Anna noticed slight scratches over the robot's mask-like head and on its left shoulder!

"I have to push further, harder! I have to—"

"Calculation complete. Activating absolute defense mode."

FRRSSHHH!

Suddenly, steam came out of the robot's entire body before its metallic mass inflated like a balloon, throwing Anna away as her weapon attack was unable to connect, being deactivated forcefully.

"Absolute Defense Mode activated successfully. What do you think? I am still trying to learn the full extent of my abilities."

"Fuck."

Anna smiled amidst the tremendous challenge as she saw the robot's body take a complete change, becoming twice as big at six meters; its lanky body became muscular, wrapped in hundreds of layers of hardened metal.

And above all, its Internal Heavenly Venerable Ki Core began glaring with Cosmic Energy as well, as the Constellation supporting the robot infused more power into it.

[The Cosmic Throne {King of Steel} has decided that you must die no matter what. Your strength is a threat to the ever-expanding Machine Lifeforms across the Multiverse.]

[The Constellation orders its Avatar to eliminate you at all costs.]

"Understood, Constellation."

The robot's blue eyes became completely red.

"I shall begin now."

BOOOM!

Before Anna could even see the robot moving, her face was punched with enough force to break her nose and send some of her teeth flying away.

Her body fell, twisting around as her senses went crazy; for a second, she was unable to focus, losing her sense of balance completely.

That punch and the shockwave that came with it blew up not only her head down but also made her ears explode.

"Aaah, yeah."

As Anna fell from the skies, she glanced at the robot rapidly descending, pointing its massive metallic fists at her.

"This is perfect."

She didn't despair, whatsoever.

After all…

She couldn't have hoped for a better training partner.

"I always hold back even when I fight them because I don't actually want to hurt them, you know?"

"Hmm?"

"But you… I don't give a shit about what happens to you. So please, endure for now."

"Endure? What sort of words are you speaking? Perhaps that hit has messed with your head—"

"{Myriad Self Arts}: {Chaotic Soul Nebula}"

FLAAASH!

In that moment, Anna's Technique evolved even further beyond.
