My Favorite Game Followed Me!

Chapter 596

Major Mason laughed out loud after the Dire Bear's battle with ten of the major's mages ended.

"Your summoned monster is truly powerful! It can fight and win against 10 foolish high wizards! Your captain's lucky to be able to command such a fine summon during battle. He told me that you specialized in elemental castings, but to be able to cast a powerful summoning spell, your squad is going places," Major Mason said while looking at Anton's Dire Bear.

Anton saw that Captain Leonard just sighed at Major Mason's comment regarding his luckiness for being able to command the powerful Dire Bear. While on their way back to their campsite, Captain Leonard whispered to Anton that the Dire Bear wasn't the lucky thing that would allow their squad to climb, but that it was going to be Anton himself. He just ignored what Captain Leonard said.

Since Anton did not dispel the Dire Bear, everyone stared at them while they were walking back to their campground, and when they arrived there, Anton's teammates gathered around the bear. Since Captain Leonard and Anton were beside the Dire Bear and were behaving calmly, they knew that they had nothing to fear from the bear, even though it was gigantic.

"Where does this giant bear come from?" Suvina asked.

"It's Anton's summon. It's extremely powerful and almost defeated ten expert wizards," Captain Leonard said proudly as if the bear was his summons.

"Is Anton allowed to summon it?" Mauri asked while patting the bear all over its huge body.

"Yes. Anton made a deal with me and the major. He could meditate on top of the bear while we travel, and in combat, I will be the one commanding the bear," Captain Leonard said.

"He could already fly, and now he will be riding while we walk?!" Fran whined.

"It is what it is. Once you reach Anton's level of power, you will also be given advantages," Menard said.

Since Anton was now allowed to utilize his Dire Bear, he immediately set up his tiny tent on top of the bear, and when his team members examined the inside of the tent, with its comfortable bedding that could be used as a seat and the magic items that could control the temperature inside the tent, they all just sighed enviously.

Anton's team arranged their sleeping bags beside the dire bear so Pearl of the Ocean would reach them.

The next day, Anton did not need to join the cooking staff anymore since it was now someone else's turn. After breakfast, the army left for Mendoza early enough.

While they travel, all the other people just sigh when they notice the tent on top of the bear traveling with them. A lot of people inquired about it, and since it wasn't a secret, his teammates shared the information with others.

Anton didn't leave the tent and focused on leveling up his ladder Druid character. He didn't even do anything else, like watching an anime or reading a web novel, but just focused on leveling up. He wasn't worried about missing anything outside his tent since, if anything important happened, like an attack, his Dire Bear would make him aware of it.

His leveling of his character was only interrupted during noon, when it was time for lunch. While they were eating, his teammates mentioned that they found his Dire Bear extremely odd.

"In what way?" Anton asked.

"Well…It didn't need to eat or defecate. It just followed us along and did nothing else," Charlie said.

Anton remembered that Charlie was a druid and was supposed to be close to nature or animals.

"My Dire Bear is not an actual living being. It's basically just made of magical energy that looks like a bear," Anton said.

After that, the journey continued, and Anton returned to leveling up his Druid character. By the time the sun had set, Anton finally reached the maximum level of his ladder Druid character. Since he had been keeping the Death's Fathom Dimensional Shard in his inventory for a while, it was the weapon that he transferred from the game to reality.

When the stats from the ladder Druid character were transferred to him, combined with holding his new weapon, Death's Fathom Dimensional Shard, Anton felt his power increase. Looking at the huge wand with a blue crystal ball swirling with power, Anton found his new weapon beautiful. After studying the legendary weapon for several minutes, he stored it in his inventory, where it would stay when he was not battling with his enemies.

The next day, the travel continued. During mid-morning, though, Anton's Dire Bear informed him that a couple of undead dragons were arriving to attack the army. He immediately went outside his tent and stored everything in his inventory.

Anton heard Captain Leoanard shouting his command. He was shouting that all of them gather together so they would be under the shield spell that he would cast, and that all long-range attackers should prepare themselves to attack.

The two undead dragons were still far away, so no one was attacking yet, but based on Anton's experience, the dragons had a longer range compared to wizards and archers, so more than likely, the undead dragon's breath attack would reach them first.

"Captain, if you want, I can fly up there to meet the dragon!" Anton shouted.

Captain Leonard stared at Anton, then immediately shouted to follow him. Both of them ran to where Major Mason was located.

"Major! Anton volunteered to fly up there to meet the undead dragons!" Captain Leonard exclaimed loudly towards the major.

Everyone in the area stared at Captain Leonard when they heard what the man had said.

"I did read the report that your Anton was capable of clearing the 65th floor of a high-level dungeon alone. Let's see his vaunted power then. I was about to command our mages to fly up there to attack, but let him attack first, then my mages would fly after him after a few seconds to do some follow-up attacks."

When the major gave his go-ahead, Anton immediately flew up. After a minute, several mages flew up as well. The problem with their army was, there were no mages above Archmages since most of the truly powerful mages were in the main army that was already in the kingdom of Mendoza.

Anton flew as fast as he could, even utilizing his teleport spell so he could reach the undead dragon faster. He didn't want the two undead dragons causing damage to their army. The moment Anton was near enough, he immediately cast the Frozen Orb spell towards the two undead dragons, one after another. The Frozen Orb spell caused severe damage and caused the dragons to move sluggishly. The two undead dragons roared their defiance at him, then they responded by breathing their breath attack towards him. Based on the color of the breath attack, which was a combination of green and black, the breath could be some sort of acid.

Anton simply teleported out of the way and cast the Armageddon Spell and the Hurricane Spell since they were far enough away from the army that they wouldn't be affected. The spells that Anton cast made the wizards who were following him stop in mid-flight and fly backwards to avoid being affected by his spells. Anton then followed the two major spells with castings of Frozen Orb, Blizzard, and Chain Lightning spells.

When the Armageddon spell and the Hurricane Spell lapsed, Anton simply cast them again, and then he followed it up with all of his attack spells from the three elemental skill trees of the powerful Sorceress from the Diablo II world.
