Mage Legend

Chapter 714: Legends and the Legends in Legends Chapter Twenty-Seven The Meeting of Leaders_2

"If we let it continue its rampage, it will be bad for everyone!" Sigel·Be shouted loudly in the sky and was the first to fire a Negative Energy Bomb at the ground beneath him. Once this abomination goes berserk, it's estimated that the entire Mage Association will suffer devastating damage. Once that net is thrown onto the Great Magic Tower, no one can ensure that the sturdy tower will be able to protect the books stored inside.

In an instant, various attack spells rained down on the abomination like a storm, and this black monster was immediately pressed down unable to lift its head. Its reinforced skin was covered with magic-resistant armor, but now fine cracks began to appear. An Impact Punch composed of a force field struck it hard in the chest, expanding those cracks into a clearly visible wound.

The abomination roared, immediately retracting the capture net. It glared at the mages in the sky, reciting a spell in a thunderous voice. With the demon's power, rainbow-colored beams shot from its dark body, converging into pillars of light that charged toward the great mages.

Although this spectacle looked so stunningly beautiful, it was fraught with lethal intent. Each color of the rainbow represented a different spell effect, ranging from Petrification, Lethal, Paralysis, Damage, Corrosion, all the way to various Elemental effects, leaving none lacking. Even if the great mages had various magical protections, they would be gradually worn down by such swift and ever-changing attack methods. When the last layer of their Magic Barrier disappeared, it would be the moment the great mages fell.

Lynch also realized that the abomination's ability to defend against spells was simply too strong. Even if a spell could affect it, the damage would be weakened to a level that the abomination could ignore thanks to its rapid regeneration. Furthermore, there wasn't time for him to use the high-damage Legendary Magic. Although Lynch could mobilize great Elemental Power from the world, by the time the spell was completed, not many great mages would be left alive.

So, Lynch raised the Powerful Wand and broke it over his Refined Gold left hand. When this magic item, second only to a Divine Artifact in power, was intentionally destroyed, the Magic Energy stored inside would immediately explode. Much like the Great Mage's Wand, there was basically no defense that could withstand the damage it brought. It was precisely this effect that Lynch needed. He summoned a small ball of Magic Origin, using the magic power it provided to maintain the Magic Reversal Barrier around him with all his concentration.

The turbulent energy constantly rebounded around him, forcing him to retreat step by step, leaving two deep grooves on the ground as he passed. The immense pressure made every bone in Lynch's body creak and his muscles seeped with blood. If Lynch wished, he could launch this energy skyward at any time, but what he needed to do now was aim it at the abomination and then fire it. Although the Refined Gold left hand persistently tried to pull Lynch out of this dangerous area, the mage could not take a single step away. He knew this was the only chance to save the great mages.

Lynch clenched his fist, his lips turning pale with tension. "I need to take control!" He fell into a trance, the surging streams of magic energy, their trajectories turned into lines and geometric figures, darting within the large net he had set up. Watching the force field he maintained, he suddenly realized that too much energy was wasted on maintaining the shape of this Magic Rebound Space. But essentially, he only needed to establish a path that could regulate the rebound for the energy of the Powerful Wand.

With a loud bang, Lynch was thrown far back, and the force of the Powerful Wand's explosion was finally tamed at the last moment. A ball of white flame shot towards the abomination, piercing through the black smoke surrounding its body and drilling into its hardened form.

A large hole was gouged into the abomination's body, and the armor on its surface was blasted apart in all directions. The rainbow beams counterattacking from the sky vanished instantly, and with the pressure lifted, everyone began preparing their next attacks.

At this moment, Sigel·Be took out a scroll, not joining the spell bombardment again. Because once the abomination perished in this space, the power accumulated on it would contaminate everything around it. Disease would spread, plagues would ravage, and unknown beasts would wipe villages off the map one by one. The abomination itself was a huge poison vault, a massive weapon pieced together with curses and filth. The only safe way was to bury the abomination forever, imprisoning it where no one could release it.
