The Peerless Beauty Stuck With Me

Chapter 1033: The Murderous Maniac

"No problem, it's decided then."

Old Crane loved betting with Tang Rao the most.

He saw countless possibilities in Tang Rao; this young man was meant to grow quickly through repeated battlefield experiences.

"There are so few people here. I wonder if there are many people on Old Crane's side?"

Tang Rao could only mutter to himself; he couldn't choose to change positions anymore.

"Little Hedgehog, help me find people. I need a lot, a whole lot of people. If you can't find them, I'll pluck all the quills off your back, chop you into little pieces, and cook you to eat."

This was the experience Tang Rao had summarized from the Little Fire Ginseng.

Little Hedgehog hadn't experienced Tang Rao's terrifying side, so whatever Tang Rao said, Little Hedgehog would believe.

Whether or not Tang Rao could do it, what if he actually could?

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp!"

Little Hedgehog quickly ran forward.

Tang Rao was no longer afraid of Little Hedgehog running away. The little guy had certainly seen that the richest person was Tang Rao. With its money-worshipping nature, it would surely cling tightly to Tang Rao's leg, not letting go until the very end.

"Find people, live ones, not the ones who have been killed."

Little Hedgehog took Tang Rao to several places, but all it found were corpses; where were the living people?

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp!"

Little Hedgehog felt wronged, its cries were sharp and pitiful.

It stretched out its little foot, pointed in a direction, wanting to say something to Tang Rao but afraid Tang Rao wouldn't understand what it was trying to convey.

"It wants you to go straight. There are people in a ground hole below."

Little Fire Ginseng couldn't hold it in, jumped out to stand on Tang Rao's shoulder, and acted as a translator for him.

"Let's go!"

Taking Little Fire Ginseng and Little Hedgehog, Tang Rao walked forward.

"There are actually ground holes here. If the little thing hadn't seen it, I probably wouldn't have thought of it."

Tang Rao hadn't learned many skills, but he could manage digging ground holes.

Digging down into the ground, it was a whole different world beneath.

"So much fresh meat, interesting!"

The underground was as spacious as above ground, and just as bright. He held his gun with both hands, sweeping towards those who were fighting.

"Bang bang bang bang!"

The sound of gunfire rang out underground, and those who were fighting hadn't even managed to react to what was happening before they fell to the ground, unable to move.

"Who, who is it?"

Dozens of people had arranged for a fight underground, only to make wedding garments for others. Who were they? Before they could finish their question, Tang Rao had already dealt with them.

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp."

Little Hedgehog was scared to death; it had never seen anyone as formidable at killing as Tang Rao.

"It says you're amazing, complimenting you."

Little Hedgehog's words were translated by Little Fire Ginseng and relayed to Tang Rao, who was thrilled beyond measure.

"Little darlings, my intelligence and wisdom are beyond your grasp."

Tang Rao managed to reach this point, all thanks to Fang Jinxiu, all due to Fang Jinxiu's research into such individually distinctive good ideas.

"Don't get too cocky, Wang He can definitely kill more than you."

Little Fire Ginseng's words woke him from the dream; Tang Rao had grown arrogant after killing dozens, almost forgetting that Old Crane was still working hard outside.

"Little Hedgehog, keep looking!"

Little Hedgehog was tasked to find people, Little Fire Ginseng acted as a translator. Whether finding treasure or anything else, it always aimed for the best.

The second group was found in an instant.

Guys, I'm really happy to see you here.

"If you're smart, quit now, otherwise Daddy is going to go on a killing spree on you!"

Tang Rao had a gun in hand, and those keeping their distance couldn't pose any threat to him.

"Kid, this is between us, back off if you're smart; otherwise, don't blame us for being rude."

With gang warfare, Tang Rao couldn't let these fat ducks be slaughtered by others.

"Bang bang bang bang."

I'll explain nothing more to you.

In a world where strength reigns supreme, Tang Rao, a man as formidable as this, wasn't going to waste words explaining so much to you.

Out of dozens of people, only a few smart ones crushed their rings, leaving the Ice and Snow World; the rest were all dealt with by Tang Rao.

"How many people was that?"

Little Fire Ginseng had been observing the whole time; it was the clearest on how many people were killed.

"One hundred and thirty-two."

Far short of Old Crane's numbers.

This was only the third region, where thousands of people were engaged in a brutal contest.

If the scores accumulated in the third region were low, there was basically no chance in the fourth region either.

"Too few, too few, keep going."

Tang Rao was starting to get anxious.

It wasn't about thinking of killing a certain number of people, what Tang Rao wanted were points, not lives.

"Killing is never going to reach the score line; you need to find the Murder Maniac, have him pledge allegiance to you, fight for you."

Little Hedgehog was smart; it knew a lot from spending a long time in the Ice and Snow World.

"What's this Murder Maniac you speak of, how come I don't know?"

There were lots of people in Ice and Snow World, yet Tang Rao had truly never heard of a Murder Maniac.

"The Murder Maniac lives in the third region; he loves eating honey. If honey can solve a problem, it's not really a problem, and you can do it."

He could do it, but no one knew where the Murder Maniac was at the moment.

"Murder Maniac, Little Hedgehog, you're smart, lead us there."

Little Hedgehog shivered and quivered after hearing this.

"Chirp chirp chirp chirp."

"He says you need to protect him; a single sneeze from the Murder Maniac could blow him away. If you don't protect him, he's not going."

Obviously, Tang Rao would protect him; such a precious treasure, he liked it from the bottom of his heart.

"No problem."

Only then did Little Hedgehog turn and walk sideways.

That was one of the few primeval forests, the kind you'd think no one dared to enter.

The fog barrier inside the primeval forest was too thick; anyone with a Single Spiritual Root would faint upon entering.

Tang Rao had seven roots; coming in and out of the fog barrier was like entering and exiting his own home, no different.

The Murder Maniac's territory was too large; after passing through the fog barrier, only then did Tang Rao see the situation ahead clearly.

A giant figure lay beneath a tree, gazing up at the tree, waiting for honey to drip down.

"Who dares to come to my territory?"

The Murder Maniac's voice was low and imposing.

Tang Rao wasn't afraid. He opened a jar of honey, approached the Murder Maniac, "I'm not a bad guy, nor a good guy, I need your help with something. When it's done, this jar of top-grade locust flower honey will all be yours."

Tang Rao dared to promise that the honey he offered would definitely be better than any honey the Murder Maniac had tasted before.

"Alright, deal."

Upon hearing there was honey to eat, without further ado, the Murder Maniac immediately agreed to Tang Rao's deal.

"In the third region trial, I want more points and kills. If you pledge allegiance to me, besides this jar of honey, I can give you a part as well. What do you think?"

Tang Rao was generous, and for the Murder Maniac, a small jar of honey was a rare treat.

"No problem."

He continued to agree, and now it was set, with an ally gained; Tang Rao wanting to beat Old Crane was nothing but a lighthearted affair.

Deal struck, Tang Rao walked in front, the Murder Maniac behind, they proceeded in silence.
